Single Frame Glitch

New Here ,
Feb 07, 2025 Feb 07, 2025

Hello!

I'm working on an effect where it looks like light is moving through a room that is a still photo. I'm using the CC Radial Fast Blur effect and changing the position of the center to create the movement.

The issue is that no matter what I do, there is always a single frame with a glitch where a big chunk of the effect is missing. See screenshots below.

I've tried adjusting the curve on the speed graph, and that just moves the glitch to a different frame.

Any ideas?

Is your graphic the same size as the comp? Maybe try doing the effect on an adjustment layer.

Is this happening on a specific frame or on random frames? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version) and version of After Effects? If expert's suggestion doesn't help, try updating your GPU driver.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Nishu
