After Effects CC 2019 render queue serious problem

I have a serious problem with After Effects CC 2019 render queue. I'm not able to add any compositions to render queue.

I'm working with Macbook Pro and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

I'm having exactly the same problem. When I send to Render Queue it doesn't load and then stops all other menu options from working.

Could you please explain the procedure you are using to send the composition to the render queue. Also OP what is the spec on your MacBook Pro?

Through the menu composition > add to render queue

It stops all of AE UI working and I have to close it down and I'm unable to save it.

I have to delete the preferences to get it working again.

Im running it on.

Mac Pro - High Sierra

3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5

I'm having to open the comp in media encoder in order to render.

I would recommend uninstalling AE using Adobe Cleaner Tool AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

Then reinstall AE and do NOT migrate any settings if prompted.

Could you do a small vid showing me what happens when you try to add to the reader queue. This would help me understand a little better?

Ok so please send us some screens or video screen grab of that issue because without that it is hard to tell what is hapen.
