So the program runs fine but as soon as I close it, I can't reopen it without restarting my computer and redownloading creative cloud and also redownloading after effects. I sometimes get the error code 16 when I try launching it after it has been closed. I really don't expect this from a $30/month program and if I can't fix it I will not be continuing this subscription. If you need any more information just ask and I will try and supply it.

which operating system?
what hardware info can you give us about your computer?

I would suggest updating AE. You should be on 14.2.1

No I never did, and now when I go into creative cloud it says I have to buy After Effects when I know I still have it.
