I've got the latest updated version of AE and the system MAC OSX as well.

Did you have installed a prevoius version of AE? Maybe you have two copies of C4D Lite installed, and this could be the cause of your problems. Look at your Applications folder, and check if you have a folder por a previous installation of AE. In this case, delete this folder. Also, before launching C4D inside AE, go to Edit > Purge > All memory and disk cache.

Then, open Cinema 4D Lite. Go to Edit > Preferences. In the bottom of the preferences window, you will find a button for open the Preferences folder in the finder. Close Cinema 4D, delete this folder and try again.

unfortunately, it didn't change anything...
I already tried that before you sent me that suggestion Jose. But there is still that god damn window each time i open Cinema 4D Lite.... which is already registered.
Maybe it started after installation of trial version of Cinema 4D... i guess

Maybe Cineware is trying to open the trial instead the Lite version. Add any C4D into a composition in After Effects, then go to Effects Control for the Cineware Effects. Click on the options button in the top of the Cineware effect and check if the editor or renderer are looking for Trial or Lite version. Upload a screen capture of the Cineware options window so we can be sure what is happening here.

i tried to uninstall my newest After Effects and reinstall it back to the previous version of it and there Cinema 4D Lite works fine, without any pop up windows asking you for the already done registration. Then i upgrade it to the newest version and ups... there is back that crapy windows asking me for the endless registration process over and over again. Have someone that same problem with that Cinema 4D Lite please? I am working on Mac (latest OSX, latest AE CC) please check it up and let me know please!

Hi Kevin,
Have you found a solution to C4D Lite R19 keep asking for registration and the viewport labels not appearing? I'm having the same issue. Note that I'm on an Enterprise account for Adobe Cloud. I don't have these issues with C4D Lit R16/AE 2015.

Hi Jakub,
Are you using an enterprise cloud account or regular account?
FYI, I'm on Windows 7. I see that you're on MacOSX, correct?

If its at work then it very well may be an enterprise edition since that edition is for work environments. I'm reaching out to MAXON support and will let you know what I find.

Below are suggestions from MAXON Tech support (neither worked for me):
"I am wondering if your company's high security settings is the reason for all the issues in the first place. After Effects uses either port 5030 or 5027 to talk to C4D through Cineware. Perhaps that port is being blocked causing issues with Cinema and preventing the activation code to stick and you having to input it every time you launch C4D Lite.
First, lets find out what port number is being used. You can do so by going into the Cineware plugin and selecting option. This will bring up another window that contains the port number being used. I've attached an image showing where this is.
In fact, one thing you can try is changing it to 5027 if its 5030 and vice versa to see if that fixes the issue. I do recall this fixing some issue with C4D Lite in the past. Not necessarily what you are experiencing, but if it is a security issue this might get you around it. If you are still running in to the issues I would contact your IT department just to make sure the ports in question on not being blocked.
With the viewport, I've never come across an issue like this before. Have you attempted changing the layout on the upper right of the screen and reverting back to startup or standard (whichever it was set to in the first place)? Sometimes resetting the laying can fix weird issues like this."

Thank you all for your responses but i fixed it out yet. We have got Cinema 4D full licence now so... i closing this chat. Cheers
But i am not happy about the last Cineware update, i mean update of Cinema 4D Lite for AE... I never fixed the bug about viewports names which are missing and the window asking for registrating the product... Note that the previous activation of the Cinema 4D Lite was without any problem. Cheers

SV,
Solve that by contacting Maxon. Here's a forum post with the links: Re: Cannot register Cinema 4D Lite
Thanks,
Kevin
