Hi guys. I'm trying to wrap my head around color management with OCIO and ACES.

I watched a tutorial about photorealism where he talked about filmic color profile in blender It started a 3 hour research session into color mangement. I learned that sRGB is limited in its range and OCIO (includes ACES color profile)  is much wider and therefore much better at producing physically realistic renders.

Tutorila about OCIO/VRAY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn3XHUjmL24

Tutorial about After effects and OCIO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdoV5is9zMg

Question:

How do I set up my project correctly in After effects (or any other editing app for that matter)?

Here are the settings:

Hello,

If you like to keep a scene linear workflow, you choose ACES CG Linear from Working Space in After Effects Project Settings. The link below is a tutorial of color management in V-Ray. I hope it helps you.
