Hi guys. I'm trying to wrap my head around color management with OCIO and ACES.
I watched a tutorial about photorealism where he talked about filmic color profile in blender It started a 3 hour research session into color mangement. I learned that sRGB is limited in its range and OCIO (includes ACES color profile) is much wider and therefore much better at producing physically realistic renders.

If you like to keep a scene linear workflow, you choose ACES CG Linear from Working Space in After Effects Project Settings. The link below is a tutorial of color management in V-Ray. I hope it helps you.
