I've got an issue with when rendering from AE. I need to render to any of these .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .flv, .m4v, .mp4 for the platform I'm using.
When I render to any of these I get a brightness change when new elements appear and flickering.
It's fine in previews and If I render to frames it's ok.
I thought I could just put these frames in media encoder or premiere but when I render out again I get the same changing brightness.
I've tried all different settings but non of them seem to fix it, vbr 1 and 2 pass, constant, depth settings etc
I've tried putting blur and noise on adjustment layers and in AE and Premiere and that doesn't seem to do anything.
My scene is made of a lot of single colours is there anything I can do to these to fix it?
Does any one what causes this?
Thanks for any help

Since there are billions of different ways to set up a composition with an almost infinite combination of footage types and effects my first guess would be that you have some frame rate problems somewhere or you are using GPU enabled effects that are fouling up.
Give us workflow details and some screenshots showing the modified properties of the layers that are giving you problems and somebody may be able to figure it out. Without details, it could be anything.

Thanks for the reply Rick Gerard, I managed to fix it by putting a colour correct adjustment layer in premiere pro. I also added a vignette which I think helped break up the flat colours.
I suspect it's the GPU because I've been having a lot of issues with it and it's a work laptop so I can't configure it very well, as a lot of things are locked down. It's all shapes and illustrator files, all the frame rates are the same 29.97
Even when I rendered out frames and checked the frames were not flickering then rendered it to h264 with AME or premiere or AE, It would do it when certain things appeared.
