Auto Switch Back Frame Rate

Feature idea: When changing the framerate for roto'ing a newly added video, to have an auto switch back option to the original frame rate of the first imported video. Countless times I get caught out with changing the frame rate for a roto, then forget to change the frame rate back to the original video in the comp.

e.g.
Video 1 has a frame rate of 23.976

Video 2 is now imported to roto a head of a person. Frame rate is 29.97

To roto something in Video 2, it would be suggested to change the frame from 23.976 to 29.97. After the roto'ing is done, there's no reminder or auto switch back option to the frame rate of video 1 for the comp.

I'd just do your roto in a standalone comp at the correct framerate, then nest that comp in your main comp.  Much cleaner, and less likelihood of error.

Alternately, if the footage is suitable, you might want to pre-render a copy of the roto footage adjusted to the correct frame rate, preferably using pixel motion frame blending.  Then import the new file, now at the correct frame rate, and start your roto work.  This will be more efficient because you'll have less frames to roto, but might create artefacts in the footage, so tread carefully.

Agree with Andrew. This is a workflow problem that can easily be solved by using individual pre-comps and referencing those in the other comps instead of using the plain sourcer footage.
