Have a problem with automatical adjustment of my photos in LR mobile. When I choose a particular photo that I took in RAW48mp for futher editing, LR automatically changing its saturation. Do you have any thoughts how to disable this "improvement"? I am using Iphone 17 Pro Max.

As of today, I also still have this issue (by now we’re in 15.2.1) and the usual recommendations of “resetting your preferences” or even right out deleteing the files or copying them from a known working machine have not fixed this issue for me.Even complete system OS wipes and fresh reinstalls of the software after setting up the OS (reasons for OS reinstall unrelated to issue), with no traces left of the prior install, have fixed this for me on my system. So the logical conclusion would be this is coming from an catalog corruption. But interestingly, creating a new catalog in a fresh install on a just set up OS (Win 11 Pro) also does not fix this issue.For me the issues extend three-fold:I can’t color label my images in the gallery EXIF / IPTC / Metadata in general never loads in the grid view side panel (and knowingly exists since it’s e.g. shown in MediaInfo or ExifTool) The loupe info display doesn’t work (likely because metadata is never finished reading on the files)So 9 months

When I try to open LrC a system error pops up, "The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, and it still pops up.

LRC 15.2.1 ARM64. In the removal section for dust spot removal there is no button present to apply the found dust spots.

I use the + and - keys to adjust my sliders when going through photos quickly for minor changes, in particular, for exposure. I find that sometimes (maybe 1 in 10 images), I can see the keypad change occur, but then just as quickly bouce back as if I had never made the change. This happens while still on the image, not when moving to the next. Is this a bug? If not, what can I do to stop this happening?

I made a virtual copy of an image in LR and then chose “edit a copy in PS with lightroom adjustments”. When I sent the image back to LRc, there was no copy made and the new image overwrote the .TIF file original. My original (with Google AI adjustments that cannot be replicated ‘cuz I’m out of usage tokens) is ** COMPLETELY GONE **. I am quite beyond irritated. Yes, I still have the pre-Google raw file, but I am very much not happy. What should I have done? P.S. aside -- why would my community page not have a “post a question” button on it? I’ve been hunting around for over an hour and it only just now showed up.

Hi everyone!I hope I didn’t miss any already existing bug / issue posts for this issue. Here’s the short version again:After upgrading to Lightroom Classic 15.2, I experience an increase in repeatable and reproducable freezes with following crashes. Cannot figure out why the photo text will not populate with the metadata. I feel like I have googled and tried everything. Photos have custom metadata (even default items like exposure, file name, capture time, are not populating). I have checked the settings under Book Preferences and have tried the 'update Metadata based captions". I have closed and updated and re-opened. Please help!

Since LrC 15 I get this popup: Smart previews have been the single thing that kept Lightroom Classic moving decently for me, even when my Macbook was brand new, even when I made super powerful workstations before that. Lightroom Classic has always been slow loading original images, no matter what I did, except for enabling the use of smart previews.Now the app says I should disable the only thing making usable for someone editing thousands of pics at a time. Now I have to go through several steps when I need one of the new models (because working with smart previews does indeed lower the output quality), then go through several steps again to enable the use of smart previews, when the only logical thing to do was probably a single line of code saying “if CurrentPic.source == SmartPreview {CurrentPic.source == Original} when using one of the features needing originals.Please fix this simple yet horrendous user experience bug asap.

I have been using LR for many years and have had no problem with dragging images in the film strip to reorder them. Recently, this has become very erratic. Sometimes it works okay other times, even though the cursor shows I have picked up the image, when I drop it it either just returns to the original place, drops somewhere random or even sometimes another image will randomly change place.I have tried shutting down and restarting both my laptop and LR but the problem persists. I have the order set to, ‘custom’. I have also collapsed and reopened the filmstrip. The problem also occurs in the library module using grid view.What once took my 5 minutes is now taking hours, it’s very frustrating. Any help would be great.Dave

Save Metadata To File will unnecessarily write a huge .acr sidecar for a JPEG that’s been exported from LR and reimported. This affects users who regularly export with the Add To Catalog option. Download and open the attached catalog, which contains a single raw, DSC08981.ARW, with Denoise applied. 2. Select the raw and export it as a JPEG to the desktop, with Quality = 70 and the option Metadata > Include: All Metadata. 4. Import the exported JPEG with the Add Option. 5. Select the JPEG and do Metadata > Save Metadata To File. Observe that DSC08981.acr is created, about 10.3 MB (three times the size of the .jpg) (incorrect). 6. I’m using Lightroom Classic 15.2.1 on Mac with Canon R5 RAW+JPEG B&W.I usually rely on embedded previews to see the JPEGs in B&W, but since I received a previews’s error when starting Lightroom today, LR gradually rebuilds all images in color.When I access to any folder in my Lybrary module, LR starts rebuilding all my BW previews to color.I’ve deleted Previews.lrdata, cleared the Camera Raw cache, and set previews to Low/1024, but it still converts thumbnails to color. I need a way to keep the JPEG B&W previews in Library without Lightroom regenerating them from the RAW.Can someone help me to solve this?Kind regards. 

I am getting this error message when trying to Export as Catalog: I’m running on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 with Lightroom Classic 15.2 on MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 with 16GB of memory and about 197 GB free space on the hard drive.  The target for the export is an external hard drive with 1.85 TB available.  There are about 113 GB of images in the catalog (some are on external media).  A few minutes after starting the export, the progress bar seems to freeze.  About five hours after starting the export, the export process appears to die with the above message opening in its own window.  I’m trying to export around 10,000 images.  While the export is running, Lightroom Classic does not appear to be consuming a large amount of CPU or Memory.
