P: New Neural filters don't work - Photoshop 22.x

I have installed Photoshop on 2 competer.
1. i7-8700/32Gb/SSD/Quadro P620 (2x monitors FullHD)
2. i9-9900/64Gb/SSD m.2/RTX2070Super (2x monitors 2k)

On 1 computer all work normally.
On 2 computer all neural filters don't work.

Add:
When plugin Skin Smoothing is Off, then Style Transfer work correctly.
When Skin Smoothing On (and dot't working), Style Transfer also not working.

Smart Portrait don't work independ above.
Dept aware haze also work alone, but don't work when sskin smoothing is on...

Make sure your second system has the same GPU settings for Photoshop set in the nVidia control panel, and all settings otherwise look similarly set.

nVidia control panel have default setting in global tab (I reset it now to default, but no effect), program setting tab have all "Use global..." to photoshop.

Change Edit - Performance - Use Graphic prosessor setting in photoshop, and off use, also no effect.

I reinstall latest nvidia videodriver with "Clear install", but all the same...

Can you try quitting Photoshop, then delete/rename the following folder?

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage\PHSP\22\Internal\com.adobe.nfp.gallery\PluginData

Restart Photoshop. It should force to re-download all models.

Let me know if this fixes it.

I'm having a more fundamental issue on MacOS Catalina (10.15.7) in which the Neural Filters list never displays and instead there is a perpetual Loading animated icon.

I have tried removing the PluginData folder a few times but in each case it comes back with 4 folders and a manifest.json file. The folders created are "FaceSeg" "Face Segmentation", "StyleGan2Cloud" , and "StyleGan2OnDevices2" but the list never displays.

I finally solved this mysterious problem by modifying the advanced permissions for the Temp Adobe folder

• disable inheritence
• disable "delete" permissions for all accounts

After that I just clicked to download the filters and it filled up with tar files and folders.  Just drag the folders to their corresponding locaiton in the Roaming folder and it works like a charm.  I saved the TAR files just in case.

I renamed the folder, restarted photoshop
When clicking on the Download-Button the Downloads starts an stops immediately  or at 99% by showing the "Download" Button again.

No Restart of Photoshop or Computer or renaming the folder helps.

Neural Filter Style Transfer freezes then restarts my 2  Mid 2012 Macbook Pros both running Catalina. I basically open an image, turn on Style Transfer (Skin Smoothing off) and watch the loading circle stop before restart. I did delete the Plugin data folder as directed, but the problem is there. I did notice it will complete if I uncheck Graphics processor, but it's not important enough to disable Photoshop over it. I'm just reporting to help out.

I have some problems with neural filters as well.. It consistently crashes whenever I click neural filters. I am unable to load the filter or have it's content downloaded at all. all the above methods did not work for me.

Mac users. This worked for me. I uninstalled Photoshop 2021. Then I shutdown my mac. I waited 30 seconds then restarted it. I then reinstalled PS. Also I changed my profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1. It worked. Good Luck!

Are you saying the entire system is freezing? And the whole computer restarts?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Engineering has a few more questions: Is it only Style Transfer is having problem with GPU enabled? Is it one style only or all styles that have the problem? Do any of the other neural filters work with GPU enabled?

Is the issue reproducible with all images? (try with a simple 8-bit RGB image) 

also, it might help if we can get the plugindata folder found at the location on disk described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/known-issues.html#ErrorusingNeuralFilters (zip it up and post on CC file or dropbox)
