Why pn earth would Adobe drop this hugely successful and uniqe set of plug-ins/filters! I know a lot of people are very unhappy about this. I really hope Adobe changes its mind and comes out with an upgrade/patch to fix this problem.

FYI - Legacy downloads for the Pixel Bender plug-in that are compatible with Photoshop CS4, Photoshop CS5 (12.0) and Photoshop CS5 (12.1) have been relocated from Adobe Labs and consolidated here:

Thank you all for your interest in and enthusiasm for Pixel Bender. Pixel Bender has been offered in the past on Adobe Labs as a technology preview. As of CS6, we're no longer providing Pixel Bender as a Labs technology. Photoshop CS6 has taken the Pixel Bender filter most popular with customers, Oil Paint, and turned it into an official feature in CS6. Photoshop CS6 no longer supports Pixel Bender for 3rd party development.

Ive been playing with Oil Paint filter in PS CS6, and its fairly good.
I guess its what we got for a replacement. And Topaz Glow has something a bit similar. Of course they are not like the original PB, but we can have fun with Oil Paint anyway. Does a good job on our dog.

So now: let's get social sites nicks of those original developer team members and kindly ask them to continue on their personal not commercial basis (meant as a joke but it would be great if someting similiar to that would ever happened, be it under different name or whatever, just to have Pixel Blender ability of writing Photoshop filter plugin easy way which I personally miss a lot these days). 😄

Hi, @strawbo13 Even if the technology behind Pixel Bender is not there anymore, I keep wondering if an official support of say, Paper.JS or processing inside a UXP container would not please lots of users...
