MEDIA DOES NOT DISPLAY ON THE TIMELINE ON WINDOWS SYSTEMS

On Windows, if a custom scale factor is set in System > Display, media does not display on the Premiere Pro timeline. We are working to fix this issue in an updated version of Premiere Pro. Two workarounds are available:

  1. In Windows, turn off custom scaling and use one of the standard scaling options, or
  2. In Premiere Pro, turn off GPU-accelerated UI rendering in Preferences > General.

This problem has been fixed internally and will be released with the next public version of Premiere Pro (Pr 25.1). If you don't want to wait for that, you can see the fix in a recent Public Beta build of Pr 25.2 (build 005 or higher). Also, you can turn off custom scaling (115%) in Windows display settings to avoid the problem altogether.

Hello!

It may have already been resolved,
For those of you who haven't solved it yet, I'll write down the solution I found!

Here's what my machine looks like
Windows 10 Pro
Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 5218R CPU @ 2.10GHz 2.10 GHz (2 processors)
RAM:192 GB
2 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
Monitor: LC49G95T (SAMSUNG 49 Odyssey G9)
It's a feeling.

I also had this problem from the beginning, and the layers came and went.
I was very disappointed that I couldn't use 2025.
The solution was very simple!

If you are using a machine that has this problem, you can use it in your monitor settings
Didn't you change the display size of the screen?

If the recommended size for your display is
It's 5120x1440 pixel.
I installed the monitor a little farther away, so I used custom scaling.
I set it to 115% and enlarged it.

If we simply set this back to 100%... All solved!
It seems that this problem can be solved by scaling the screen display to 100%!
I don't think it's because of the machine specs!

If you are having trouble, please give it a try!!!

Hi @samuel_faria_de_7500 - This is a known issue that has been fixed in an upcoming release version 25.1.  The workaround is to remove custom scaling in your OS

A new release is coming that solves the problem. In the meantime, in
Windows, make sure your screen size is set to 100% and not something
larger. Mine is 115%. That causes the problem. I am continuing to use
release 24 until the fixed version of 25 is released. The beta version of
25 works.

Hi Adobe community, for the record I can import and edit files in my timeline but they won't display in my timeline unless I highlight them or sometimes when I try to scroll on the timeline. I'm using the latest version of Premier Pro and I updated my drivers.

Has anyone else encountered this?
