I think we may have discovered a bug. So thanks to you. It seems impossible to generate the separate images when using reposition. Even when checking not to merge, only one image appears together with transparent pixels. It would be helpful for that guided edit to at least have further instructions, e.g after an error message that photos can’t be aligned when using random photos, a suggestion to switch to expert mode and to use the individual layers to reposition. But I guess most people want a panorama rather than a layout.

Hi linguine333 I don’t come by that often but Greg had flagged your issue internally in the space used by Adobe staff and beta testers. It seems he gave you a work around to drag and drop images on to a blank canvas rather than using the guided edit. I just wanted to say that you can also use the menu to add images individually: File >> Place I have a YouTube video which you may find helpful. https://youtu.be/MM1Ey3T3o0Y P.S. The Organizer command after selecting thumbnails is: Edit >> Photomerge >> Panorama You then select reposition from the pulldown menu and from settings uncheck “Blend Images Together” and then click create panorama. You may still have to drag from the photo bin so using Greg’s suggestion or the File >> Place command may be easiest.

Hi fellow ACP colleagues and other friends. The moment has come. I’ve been advising and supporting Adobe customers via these forums for almost 11 years. The latest Sony camera & lens combo has a built-in lens profile – see lens corrections – try switching between default, custom & auto, but normally you should be able to change the basic panel profile.
Have you set any raw defaults for import?

Do you not have other profiles for ARW files when clicking the profile browser? As well as Adobe I have camera matching:

I can’t address the mapping vendor as that is a decision made by Adobe. It should be possible to launch each app separately by making a desktop shortcut or alias. Then pin to the taskbar or on Mac use “Keep in Dock”
The Organizer or Editor can then be launched with a single click – see image.

Log-in your Adobe Account to check your order status.
If you subscription is from the App Store or Google Play you can normally refresh from those stores.

LrC = Lightroom Classic
Lr = the cloud eco system including mobile, web and computer.
Do you really want 50,000 photos in the cloud? If so there is a migration tool to transfer a LrC catalog to Lr.
Most likely you will want to copy your catalog to the Pictures folder on the new Mac, install LrC and then transfer your files in the same structure or connect an external drive containing the files.

If you are not using the flags generally they could be used as a method of filtering. For example go to your shared album and select all thumbnails (Ctrl+A) or shift click the first and last. Press the “P” key to add a pick flag to each. Now go to All Photos and click the filter icon to the right of the search box. Then click inside the All Photos search box and choose un-flagged.
Better still, with the filter icon active click inside the search box and then click Album. Scroll to the bottom of the album list and choose “not in any album”

The selective adjustments will apply to the area with the red overlay. You can tab with the O key to turn the overlay on and off to better see the adjustments as you move the sliders. With the radial adjustment you have an invert checkbox. That will switch the mask overlay to either inside or outside the selection.
