AE and AME is not ideal for Gif exporting. What I would suggest is to use AE for animation, export to some kind of video file (for example h264), then import that to Photoshop, import h264 file and Export from Ps as a Gif. PS give you much better gif capabilities.   ... View more

Most of the codecs have some kind of restritions and as you mentioned h264 and h245 have resolution restriction. And values that you reached are - for now - maximum values that you can use.  It seems as an issue but I think that you make little mistake in your workflow buy preparing your file as a one wide file. Most of banners of that kind are distributed by media servers and systems based on widelly known standards (full HD or even less) and being played as one by using soething alled pixel maps. As martin said: 1. we need specific codec configuration so send us screens from AME or MediaInfo with your files properties (most important - bitrate value) 2. h264 is not loosless codec so you will always have some differences in color/saturaition between preview and final render. To go closer to original file - you have to render with high bitrate  3. There is also difference between players that you use. Yes. That exactly what I mean. Depending on what quality I need I render PNG/TIFF or even jpg (of course that one without Alpha). That way of rendering give you two advantages: 1. on longer renders if anything will go wrong and your render crash - you will have onle last frame or last 2-6 frames corrupted and after restart you can continue render from that point. If you are rendering to f.eg. mov - if render crash your app - you lost your entire file and you have to start from frame 0. 2. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but PNG sequence is nothing else as sequence of separate files (frame by frame) from animation/video clip. So you can put them in whatever order you need so if you need them verticaly - just put them like that.  Please clarify.  ... View more

As Mylenium said - you need faster drive or several of them - for now that is probably your bottleneck. Now you have one HDD thast runs at the same time: - your OS - your After Effects/Premiere Pro - your source footage that you use in projects - your cache files  - and during render - it saves your rendered files onto the same drive - also if you run your webbrowser or other apps at hte same time - it also uses that one HDD That is only one layer disc and one laser that have to gain phisical access to all of those things almost at the same time It would be best to invest into some good quality SSD drives with decent speeds (for OS, cache etc.)  and use that what you have (1 TB HDD) as a Archive/ footage drive.  ... It is not showed on your screenshot but probably al of your 3D layers are on that same place in Z space. You have to distribute them and scale in z space to be able to make the depth. There is no way to have a depth if all of your layers are on the same depth 🙂  So to do that you have to grab Blue arrow of a layer (or go to transform properties of your layers and change third value of position (Z/depth) in preview window and move it closer to your camera or further from it (and scale it to fit your original composition). ... I tak preset Youtube 2160p 4K Ultra HD ma ustawiony profil 5.1 - aby móc wyeksportować plik w większej rozdzielczości - zmień profil na wyższy. Do rozdzielczości jakiej potrzebujesz wystarcy profil 5.2 więc zmień na taki a rozdzielczość zmienisz na oczekiwaną. To add to what Rick said please clarify: Did you import your video file and made a composition based on that file or you did a composition and then imported your file?  I'm askin because if you did your composition before - you probably made your composition with last saved length (8 seconds) and not a length of your video. So th check that go to Composition/composition settins and check if lenth of your composition is long enouh to fit your video file.  If there is everything ok with length of your composition - then probably you have not enough of Ram in your compouter to fit all that data from aE for 25 sec playback. To make it better you can chane preview resolution, you can preview your clip part by part (by shortening Work Area), you can also skip frames - there is lot's what you can do but for that - you need to learn basics. ... You just have to know - that is the simplest answer.  You have to learn After Effects basics to know that. I that particular effect/animation you need to use two layers - first layer with your exact footage (composition) and second one as a source of distortion (gray solid) - only that way it will work. So first - even if it is a 600fps you can convert it but you need to use codec that support that kind of fps. Second - does not matter if you instal k-lite or any other codec pack. you have to know what codec was used to compress your AVI file, then check if AE is supporting it, and if it supports that codec - try to install that exact codec. Or if AE does not support that codec at all - you have - as i said - to convert it. But first thing that you have to know is what codec was used for compression of your original file. If you made sure that you are on the same version (or to be more specific on the same release) with AE and AME and your composition is not transfering to AME (sometimes you have to wait a bit) you can try: a) opening AME and just drag n drop your AE project to AME and if that opens - just chose composition that you need to render b) open AME and try to open AE project by going to File/Import (open) If you are on windows you could try to restart your workstation, open AE and try to export to AME. Sometimes process responsible for exporting AE with AME called dynamic link can freeze in windows process manager and only manual closing or PC restart helps. As for exporting from AE you can chose - for smalle file size - Quick Time/Animation format. File will be still big but smaller than straight AVI. Or you can instal and use one of pro intermediate formats as ProRes, Cineform, DNxHD. After that import that file to AME and render to whatever you wish (i guess it would be mp4/h264). ... View more
