As Rick said - that is a user error. you are working in Front view but views besides Active Camera are only for preview and setup purposes. So untill you setting up your comp - you see a Front view, and when you hit Render - AE starts showing what exactly is being rendered. That is not effect - that is plugin/script and to use it you have to buy it and instal in AE. Mylenium is right. We need much more data about your projet and exact info on how much is shockimng render time for you. But as long time AE user and active forums user I bet that issue that you have is because of your photos size. In most cases photos are muh larer trhan composition size in AE. Probably your composition/template is in HD or Full HD but most cameras (even phone camera) make photos in 12-24 or much more megapixels. After Effects works and count always original size of layer. So even if you import your (let say) 32MP photos, and scale them to fit in your Full HD tempate - After Effects count original pixels in your photos and that is why render can take much longer than it should. So if what I described is what you are experiencing - make your original photos smaller (as close to your AE template/composition size as it is possible) f.eg. in Ps or any other photo sizing tool and then import those to your composition. That way AE will count much faster because it will have much less pixels to count on each frame. ... View more

I usualy do not use OBS for AE streaming, but I'm using OBS for Video Podcasting so I tryed recreate your issue and unfortunatelly I can't. It seems that everything works as it should in OBS and Streamlabs OBS for me. The same with PS. So it is hard for me to say what can be the issue. Hi What you are trying  to do is simple basic AE keyframe timing stuff. So the best way for you to learn that is to start with basic AE course and tutorials. You can f/eg. start here: After Effects tutorials | Learn how to use After Effects  or here After Effects Help | After Effects User Guide I don't exactly know how do you do your circular line animation. If it is a shape layer (that is what I have in my example bellow) with trimm parameter, or maby that is simple jpg with Radial Wipe or something else. So I can't tell you where and what to do exactly. But does not matter the method After Effects is basically a keyframe tool. That mean that you make keyframe A with f. eg. position A parameter of your object then go to let say  2 seconds and change position of your object - when you play it back - After Effects will "figure out" how your object should move between your keyframe A and keyframe B. When you need your objects to stay in one place - you have to tell AE to be in the same position between keyframe 2 and 3 from our example. As I know that my explonations sometimes are more confusing than informative bellow you have simpe example of what you are trying to do (slow movement from 1 heart to second heart, 3s stop and then movement from 2 to third heart. Your description is usefull in the same way that if you would say: I have a car with a trailer and I have some stuff on that trailer and when I try to go from my home to my friends home that is only a mile away almost 1 hour and it burns huge amount of fuel. You can import PS file into AE, you can work on it, you can animate PS layers but after you export it (and export goes without any issues) into any codec or format - your final video is corrupted and you can't play it back in any media payer? But if you take any other graphics format (png, tiff, jpg) everything works ok)? Is that the case? That seems weird. If PS file is the issue it shoudn't let you render file at all or you should have your video file as black or with some glitches. You can do that with AE and for export use PS or script called GifGun. Or you can try to do that with Photoshop. And also - I'm guessing because it was long time ago when I was using Power Point - you can use Power Point or other presenter piece of software and export your presentation as a gif. ... View more

Ok so: 1. If you are working with images/photos from lightroom those probably are from DSLR or something similar with large megapixel sensor? Is that correct? Probably something like 24 or more megapixels photos. - if that is the case - here is your issue - photos are to large to be usefully played in AE on your workstation If you give AE photo that is 24megapixels - it will use and count those 24mp for each frame even if you make your composition smaller and scale down yopur photos to fit them - that can and will be heavly labor intensive for your CPU. If you need your composition in 4K I would recomend to shrink down your photos to that resolution (or close to that) outside of AE, maby changed format to something else than .nef and then import to AE those files and try to work with them. ... 200 hours seems long but ut can happen. As for sure RenderGarden that ToolfarmJP mentioned can help because it will take advantage of all of your CPU cores. But I think that 200+ hours seems even to llong for one core to render so what I would recommend to you is to optimize your workflow. It is hard to say what you should do exactly without knowing what exactly is going on in your composition but: - if you put time remaping on composition with E3D layers I would try to slow them down by keyframing them that way - not by puting remaping - if you have to do that remaping on e3d layers - I would first render only those layers without any effects, remapings etc. and then put those renders in your composition. - as a rule try to time remap only footage layers and try to keyframe effects etc. ... For any image, vector file or anything to work in Ae it have to be prepared to do so. And part of document that I shared is describes preparing Illustrator files for AE ("Preparing and importing Illustrator files") so please read that andf modify your vectors for AE. First as OussK mentionned your file is in CMYK (for printing) and have to be in RGB (for screen dispay), second if you wish to be able to animate separate parts of your vector graphics you have to distribute them to layers. And you also mixing two different thiongs: - Paint tool - that you apply on a layer in a layer panel and it works as a path - as Rick said you can set to paint on 1 frame, all frames or chose on how many frames you will paint on (+ write on but now it is not so important) and Paint Bucket plugin - that works on a pixel level (closer to how Paint bucket from MS Paint works) so you have to chose what color you wish to paint on (based on pixel color), chose color tolerancy and bunch of other parameters and chose fill color But those are two different tools designed to do two different things. ... That one in Effects and presets is not weird it is just how it works in After Effects. You have to rememeber that AE is not a Photoshop so it can work diferently (but in that case C9olor Bucket works similar - you add it to a layer, chose a colour/space that you need to fill and voila) . So for something like live footage - color bucket from Effects and Presets is what you get. If you work with Solids and masks - you can just change color of a solid, if you wiork with shapes - you can change color in shape fil/stroke settings so everything depends on what is your workflow and what you need to achieve.
