To delete the template you need to go to the libraries panel (Window -Libraries) In the selection drop down box, at the top of the panel,  which will probably be defaulted to "My Library" - select "Stock Templates" You should see the template you downloaded. From your description it looks like you have had issues with CC2017 and then re-installed CC2015.5. If that is the case - have you checked the Performance Preferences (including GPU settings) and Scratch disks to see if the set up now is the same as you had in your previous 2015.5 installation? It looks, from your screenshots, like you have placed the objects into your PSD file, via your library,  with a link to your library then deleted the files from the library. I don't use illustrator so cannot tell you what step there would have done this. You can now do one of two things : 1. If you need them linked so that they will keep in step if you change the master Right click on the layer and "Relink to File" or "Relink to library graphic" or 2. If you don't actually require them to be linked Right click on the layer and click on Convert to Smart Object. That will undo the linking and stop the errors from showing Dave ... View more

I would advise you however, to consider carefully the cost of buying CS6 which is an old version and will not be updated to keep up with bugs or operating system updates, against  the monthly/annual Photography package which you gives you all the updates for Photoshop CC, Camera RAW, Lightroom CC and Bridge for several years for the price of a perpetual CS6 licence. Hi Simon thanks for your reply. The config.lua file is set up exactly as you describe. The Lightroom system info does show the line : Config.lua flags: EditExternally.OverridePhotoshopPath = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Photoshop.exe That is the correct path to Photoshop on my PC. Edit in Photoshop works correctly  but Open as Layers in Photoshop gives no response initially them after a timeout the following message appears : "The files could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 could not be launched" Dave ... The only way, on Windows,  I know is to redock the panel. Use the bar at the top of the panel to drag it to the left or the right of the Photoshop window. There will be a point when it is partially overlapped that you will see the window edge turn blue. Release at that point and the panel will dock. Once docked the tabbed images will not go behind the panels. When docking it may be easier to see if the Photoshop window itself is not maximised full screen, you can maximise it afterwards Dave ... Hi Jonathan It looks like there ius an issue with blending modes for group layers acting differently on 16 bit and 32 bit images as they would in CS6 or CC2015.5. Akash I can replicate this here. The issue is with 16 bit and 32 bit images. I created a simple file with 2 groups each containing only 1 layer. The first is a blue circle with white background – the second is a yellow circle with a transparent background and a transparent line through the middle. In Photoshop CS6 and CS 2015.5 the image looks the same if I set group 2 to “Pass through” and Layer 2 to “Linear Dodge Add”  as it does if I set the group to “Linear Dodge Add” and the layer to “normal”. I would expect this given only one layer in the group Group2 Pass - Layer 2LDA            Group 2 LDA - Layer 2 Normal However in CC2017 16 bit /32 bit the outcome looks very different Group2 Pass - Layer 2LDA            Group 2 LDA - Layer 2 Normal (Gray in second screenshot is transparency) Surprisingly in 16 bit mode, zoom out to 50% or less and the image looks as ­expected ! In 32 bit mode it does not have an impact (it is broken regardless of zoom).  Also 8 bit works as expected. Turning the graphics processor on/off makes no difference to this behaviour Dave ... Yes I can see your issue and it looks like your whole interface is being displayed at a low resolution. I am not a Mac user - hopefully someone will come along who is. However, I notice you are using CS6 and you appear to have a HiDPI screen . Have you updated to CS6 13.0.2 which provided support for retina screens? I have an AMD HD7970 DC2 3GD5 running triple monitors each with its own LUT. I don't think that particular card is still on sale but it is a safe bet that it's replacements will support multiple LUTs I use an i1Pro spectro and Argyll CMS to calibrate & profile which does allow the separate naming as described by D.Fosse Dave ... Try this From your description, I suspect you may be in indexed colour mode.
