I can't find a video on how to do this. For this very long book I placed text from a word document into an .indd using autoflow. it worked fine for one column pages but I realized that there needed to be pages with 4 column text boxes ( there are a lot of these) so I got sidetracked and had to add and style the 4 column text. In doing this I broke some links and need to relink so everything flows. If you see the screenshot you will see on one page I have two orphan text boxes and need to remove the link from the previous page as you can see it bypasses the links I need to add. All I need to do is to add the unlinked text boxes to the linked textboxes, I'm sure there is any easy way to do? ... View more

I have a pdf which is 8.5 x 11.00 inches, I need to have the content of the pages fit into a 6 x 9 inch size. The pdf has 300+ pages and up until now I was stuck with the task of converting the pdf to a word doc then create a new InDesign document with the 6 x 9 size and place the contents in the new doc. If I had the original InDesign master this would have been a snap but I was only provided the pdf. This is a ton of work as I have to screenshot the images , over 100 and style the new doc with the original font and styles fromt he original pdf. I have a style made for my TOC It has the first letter capital and the rest lowercase. When I select this style to use when creating my TOC it populates a text box but in all CAPS, I figured it's a simple fix, ay help? ... View more

I have a complete .indb file which has 20 .indd files inside. One of those 20 indd files is a TOC, It just has a list of chapters in the book. I need to find out how to populate that TOC with the page numbers for each chapter AND add page numbers to each page of each chapter. I have InDesign files broken up into chapters. I have an .indb file that has the .indd files inside. Now I have 2 masters that I created, one for left pages and one for right pages. I created the masters in ONE .indd file and assigned the correct pages but when I open another indd file the masters I did are not there as they are ONLY in the last indd file. I have 20 .indd files and need to create an.indb file out of these. I create the book and import all my files but I only see the amount of pages in each document not the page numbers of the compiled indd files. I went into the Book panel options and selected the correct settings. Still the list does not convert to the compiled page numbers. I even rebooted and created a new Book and imported the documents and still same problem. I have to be missing a step. Any help here?
