There is no fix since is doing what it should, the opacity is going down and you are adding transparency to the image, so we can see more of what is behind it. The background should stay white or you should have no background if you want to see what is behind the image as you make it transparent. ... View more

ok, so i think the trigger for that error is/was the google drive? I tried saving the same file to my desktop and i don't get that error/notification.   However, saving local caused this:   I get a different error/notification when saving local. I am saving the same file from the save for web and i saved it with the name slide-2_a.jpg the first time. the second time i saved it as slide 2_a.jpg   the second time i saved it i get this notice above ;so it seems that "slide-2_a.jpg" and "slide 2_a.jpg" are been read as the same file name? why?   thanks jonathan ... i am sorry i don't think illustrator ever closed after making a .pdf?   I agree that i too often made changes and was working on the .pdf. if you however check the keep editable with illustrator option you should be able to open that .pdf back in illustrator ,and keep your layers/editable text.   Seems that the issue here is that the text changes to outline? what font are you using? are you keeping the file editable in illustrator option checked?   If you want to report a bug, issue or as for something you can do it here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html   This forum is made of volunteers,  using that link will allow you to submit your request to the developers.  cheers jonathan ... another thing you can do is take your indesign layout. export to .pdf. From acrobat you can save as a word document. Now, acrobat does not keep the styles data from indesign. So, you would need to open the document from word and name styles as you work your way down the document. ... View more

You can make a word document from a .pdf. However, acrobat .pdf files do not keep any styles data when making the .pdf. if you want a template with styles, make it in word. I do it all the time and it's worth the time. ... View more

i believe you need to export 1 indesind document/layout. As in you need to merge all of these files into one document and export from there. the book panel does not have the option export a group of indesign files as one file to publish online.     ... View more
