Ok, one more problem. When I open an image or start a new one, it opens up with it's tab attached to another one. I have lost files because of this if I'm not carefull I will close an active image off and lose it. How can I stop this from happening? Thanks.

What I want is for my sliders to slide just as far as my image and no further. Now they are sliding beyond the image and causimg the image to slide away. Seems like none of the choices in arrange will make it like it was before. I want them all separate without the tabs combining.

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, a new computer and update of Photoshop in Creative Cloud, I am having some problems. Mostly it's my images. How can I keep my tabs from joining together? Also, my image is too small for its window and I will post a screenshot to help with that one and hope you can understand it. The image just slides around too much. Also a screenshot of the choice I am making in the arrange window. Is that the right one?

I use my pen a lot and the uniform strokes that can be found at the top drop down selections. Is there a way to add more to the selections? I have only 7 to choose from. Thanks.

With the hue jitter set at zero, this is the closest I have come to getting the colors I want. But I still have some unwanted colors. In the screenshot, you can see my foreground and background colors on left and on the image at the right, the line of balls is what I got with a paint stroke. I see 3 colors that are unwanted. I know this has been discussed and I have read the Photoshop Brushes--Color Dynamics article that was posted but I still can't get the colors I want. I just want the 2 colors in my foreground and backgrond or at least in the same color range. No matter how I set it, I am getting colors that aren't even close to my chosen colors. Maybe using a screenshot could you show me the settings I need for this?

Thank you, that demo was just what I needed. I did turn the book the correct way and got the text situated on the front, no problem. I wasn't sure if I should use the skew, perspective, distort or whatever to do this. Now I know.

I have never been able to figure this out. When you have drawn/painted a tilted book and you want to add a title to the front, how do you place it so it looks right. As an example I am attaching my Illustrator book. Don't laugh, I know that's not right. 🙂 I have turned this every which way and can't get it to look natural. Any help?

Are there any filters out there anywhere for Photoshop now? They used to be a lot of fun but they stopped having them or they were not affordable. Last time I had them was CS3. Now I use Photoshop 2020. Thanks

Thank you. I believe I know what is causing this. I remembered that I recently changed my credit card info and it needs to be updated in Adobe. I have been in Manage accounts and everywhere and I can't find a page where the card number can be changed. If you could help me with this, I believe it would solve the problem.

Expanding was what I needed! I just needed to transform the shapes so that I could resize and edit them without distortion. Expanding worked. I also made a brush like you said and got some good branches made like that. Thank you.

I have not used the blend tool very much so I'm not real familar with it. Can someone tell me how to make a blended image more editable after the blend? In the screenshot, this is made up of 8 images together but as you can see the images get more distorted as I try and move them around. How can I manage these images and keep them their original shape?

Thank you both. This is something I have never seen before using Illustrator and I use 24.3 version. All my projects before have added new layers to the top of the layer panel. With this project about 19 layers down my new layers started going to the bottom of the layer panel and the blue lines you can see in the screenshot became red lines. I wonder if this has something to do with having too many layers but I know I've had lots of layers before with no problem.

My new layers have always been starting at the top, which is fine. All of a sudden my new layers have been starting at the bottom and this is annoying because I have to stop and pull them up to continue. How can I adjust where my new layers go? Also, what is the meaning of the blue or red vertical line on each layer?

My brushes and my patterns were not where they were supposed to be but I've found them and I am making sure they are safe. I have collected quite a bit of presets and was worried they were lost. There are styles, textures, gradients, etc. I have them now. I hope I don't run into any trouble by not using Windows 10, as I see I cannot update with Windows 7. I like Windows 7 and don't plan on changing.

All of a sudden my Adobe Photoshop 2020 is different. I noticed several things different but the worst thing is importing presets has changed. The usual way I get my imports is no longer working. So all my brushes and all my styles are missing. What is going on?

Here is what I did just to try and get a basic animation. I opened a new image and drew a circle, duplicated it and one circle is blue, the other one is red. Just want to get the circle to flash. So this time I chose Create Video Timeline instead of Create Frame Animation likd I've been doing. Still can't set frame speed even when I go to timeline frame rate. It stays on just the blue. jjmack, I am not getting the same window you have. Mine is like Michaels. I can't see actual frames.... Wait, I just got those frames by clicking on the lower left icon. But I still can't find the popup with the frames rates like your screenshot. Michael, I have tried Set Timeline Frame Rate but my image just goes too fast no matter what I enter. I will keep trying. After searching the posts, I see where in order to change the frame rate in the timeline, you must go to properies to change it. Problem is I can't find this properties control/button/feature to do this. Please tell me where "properties" is for the timeline frame adjustment. I am using the Photoshop 2020.
