Not sure this is exactly what your asking but... Have you tried just adding the size of the square in the "Extrude Depth" field..? So if your square is 25mm x 25mm say, then just add 25mm in the field and it will auto convert it to points "70.87 pt"

Like what Omar.Fathy said, if your previous PDF creation WAS made with crop marks then it will automatically run that setting. If you need to do a lot at once then just make sure the first one you do has the right settings in place then the rest will follow that setting.

A lot of people would do this from a placed photograph and then trace around the main details to help with proportions, etc. There are many ways you could be creating your drawing but if you have a look around online you will find plenty of videos like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AgLOeCLtYM that can help you. 🙂

No, it's not like you can just turn the drawing and it creates a side profile... I suppose it all depends on how detailed your drawing is, but once you get the hang of the standard tools in Illustrator it does become a lot quicker. Just be patient and you will see. 🙂

I have checked in Illustrator and it seems that you have flattened all artwork in these PDFs so you will be unable to select individual paths now as is one complete image. These are the views I get of each file... When using Illustrator to create PDFs it's best practice to save a raw .ai file as a master file before you export as a PDF. I'm sorry I can't help any further with this.

I would start with a template that is 106mm squared and then set a guide layer at the top (turn off on output) for your print area, so you know what will be printed. I would also have a layer that showed bleed area and even one for crop line. Something like this... Guide Layer... Bleed Area... Crop Line...

What is your spacing set to? If you have multiple artboards already in your file, open 'Rearrange Artboards' from your options pannel and check what the spacing is set to..?

Have you tested on any other computers to see if they can replicate the issue? If not make the file available and someone here can test for you..? Then you will know if its specific to your setup?
