Check the Date and Time setting on your camera. Delete the folder that has a name of the catalog you are using followed by "Previews.lrdata". You do that with LrC Closed.   Set the "Param. predef to show EXIF & IPTC in whatever that translates to in your language.   Then look for Date Time Digitized, Date Time Original.   But basically LrC only knows what the actual File is telling it. Since you aren't showing File Name in the tumbnails and you haven't included the Full LrC window it is hard to tell if the image you have selected in your SS is the image the right hand side panel is showing.   ... Suggest the first thing to try is turning off the GPU option in LrC. Without seeing screen shots, YOU including screen shots, of what you are seeing on your screen it will nbe almost impossible to help you sort this out.   I susupect that when you originally opened LrC for the first time and di an import of images that were, ARE, already on your hard drive you have mistakenly selected COPY at the top of the import dialog window and let LrC place the Copies of your images in the Default folder that LrC uses. In your Usename folder under Pictures.   With the File manager for the OS you are using you are looking at the Original Folders your images were in and this Does Not match what you are seeing in the LrC Folder section.   Show Us Screen shots. ... What model year is your Mac? Why Tiger? That is a Very Old version of OS X and to install that you would need the Original Install Discs (DVD's). Depending on the model year of your Mac you might to be able to install Lion, Mt Lion, Marvericks or Yosemite on it. But it wasn't until Catalina came out that Apple stop the use of 32bit programs. I see no reason why someone, with authorization from the other person, couldn't or shouldn't take out an Adobe ID and subscribe to a subscription plan for someone else and use that persons name, proper email address and payment method for that other person.   As for installing Adobe software for someone else I bet this is done all the time. You can go back to the original V 10.0 (No .1 point release) from the CC desktop app.and test.   But yes if you go back to the 9.4 version, which should also be available from the CC desktop app) you will need to use your older Version 9 catalog file. I have no solution to your problem but I must ask. Why are you using face recognition? What do you think it will add to your workflow? Don't you already know who your children are and their names?   Just trying to get a handle on why people use face recognition and especially in LrC.     Personally I see no use for it in LrC or a use for it anywhere. Yes you are correct that If someone had that, Fake for you,  email address they could take control of your account. If they knew you had an account with Adobe. And YOU would still be paying for it.   I suspect Adobe does not care whether you use a Fake email address to create an account. All they care about is if the payment method you used is valid. The email address and password is only needed to Sign Into the programs and to access your account on Adobe.com.
