Every operation system (OS) has it's own software files so PS set up files for windows are different for Mac and you need to download PS for Mac OS.

Press Ctrl+A and go to Object>Ungroup but be sure that all layers or objects are unlocked ( you can make this by checking the layer panel or go to Object> Unlock All)

Why not to try making a dash line and it will make everything itself. If you need to make a smaller copy of the object you can use Object>Path>Offset path and enter a negative value. then go to stroke panel you can find it anywhere or from Window>stroke and from it you can make a dashed line instead.

if you need it to be like a rectangle or circle you can use the basic shapes tool to draw it the select it with the selection tool. make the fill color to (None) and the stroke color to white with the stroke width you need. If you need to draw irregular path, use the pen tool or the curvature tool. if you want to see the white color go to View>Show Transparncy Grid. if you make this or not, when you export your file as PNG the white artboard will convert to transparent.

You tried to reset your software. It may solve your problem: Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) immediately when press to open the software or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) before pressing to start the application. A dialog box launches asking you if you want to delete your preferences file. Click OK.

If you are using Windows OS go to RUN from the search in your start icon and write this command %temp% and delete all of these temp files. If you are using Mac OS go to Library>Caches and delete all cache files. or Open a Finder window and select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in ~/Library/Caches and hit enter to proceed to this folder.

make sure first that no problem in your application shortcuts by going to Type> Create Outlines and check if the shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+O and if it is good, make sure that you are selecting your text with the direct selection tool not to select characters with Type tool. Creating outlines will not work if you are selecting characters with Type tool.

your problem is about resolution. you made 150 ppi resolution for 1200 inch it is a very high resolution that make your scratch disk full. in design sizes like that you don't need this high res.

you can't edit (Update) graphic styles but you can select it, All style options will appear in Appearance Panel so you can edit it and make new graphic style. You tried to make your shapes as a group first ?!

Tool Preset is different from Brush Preset. You saved a Brush preset but you are searching about it in the tool preset. Search about brush you saved in the Brush panel or right click when you have the Brush tool selected. You can also get you saved brushes from Window>Brush Presets. -- Tool Presets saving the tool option from your option bar to get it anytime not saving the brush you saved as brush preset from the Brush Panel.

Make Sure that you turned off the GPU Performance From Edit>Preferences (Win) or Illustrator>Preferences (MacOS) and Choose GPU Performance and turn off it. or Using the Rocket icon above. and everything will be ok.

If you mean the highlights on your text, It is mean that you have a missed font on your document. The font that used in this design doesn't exist on your computer system. You can select any of these text and you will find the name of the font above with (*) symbol that mean that it is missed. Search about the font and download from the internet and everything will be OK.

Welcome Jay. Exactly Black color will change depending on the value of Cyan, Magenta & Black or RGB if you are in RGB mode. For example, You have 2 black colors in Illustrator swatches one ( Registration Black) and the other one ( Black ) The registration Black is 100,100,100,100 in CMYK it appears darker and working well with transparency but the Normal Black is 0,0,0,100 in CMYK it will appear more gray with transparency and gradients, It made to color the small text to print in one plate.

You can make calculations in transform commands: Right Click on the object then choose Transform>Scale: You can repeat your transform by pressing Ctrl+D or Transform>Transform again.
