Also, next time you install available update, you will want to check again if any of the steps you performed are not reset; most of them are not necessary anyway. Glad to hear you are able to install. Repair does not install latest updates. If you do not see "Check for updates", most likely your system admin set bUpdater policy in the Registry. Please check if you see it in the registry below HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown If it is set, you can delete bUpdater value to enable menu. blop135, It is possible that Windows Installer Service unable to use DLL mentioned in your error message because some of this DLL dependencies are missing or corrupt. The are more than a few dependencies (files installed with operating system, such as Microsoft runtime DLLs, etc.). Finding which one could be causing the issue is not a simple process.
