Hey, if you want to make this challenge, starting from the same scene, here is the psd file (just open it with Photoshop beta, and double-click on the watch smart object to open it in viewer): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1E5TIeZj2ucjegy9rMgIGOkjuvKddIeKi?usp=sharing

Yes - even beyond that; generally Adobe employees will not respond here in the forums. We are users as well.

Tracy, are you reading the posts in the community about Firefly since the beta release? I can sum it up: most everyone who comments on the topic feels that Adobe's policies of virtually no credits to actually test or use Firefly in any meaningful way is extremely disappointing, and that the fact that Adobe is charging at all...especially at this stage, and especially after realizing how little the user gets for the extra money...is a showstopper. (Firefly really doesn't even perform at an acceptable level at this point). Firefly needs to be included at no charge in Creative Suite, which many of us are paying $60/month for and don't wish to pay any more for. There is a big feeling that Adobe is being greedy with its policies around Firefly.

For a hotkey to keep lines straight - I am not aware of one. There is a. way to edit the rig after creation without affecting the artwork. Once you create a warped asset rig, right-click on the object to reveal the contaxt menu and choose 'edit rig'. This will bring you into rig edit mode where you can make all sorts of adjustments without any deformation of the underlying art.

@griffin_3550 JoãoCésar already provided a good list of animation software with proper looking bitmap brushes for the type of work mentioned by you. Additional contenders vying for such a job --with good raster paint brush engines-- would be OpenToonz (free, open source), Tahoma (simplified user interface variant of OpenToonz) and TVPaint.

@Roslyn28128282ttqv : Yeah, I think that's possible.
You can have or add some html elements in the DOM that change their ARIA related attributes according to the current frame or your app. You would use JavaScript to expose the names/meaning of the buttons in the current screen for the readers.

no, 3d objects can't be used in animate, but you can rotate/move 2d objects in 3d space.

That sums it up right there Jane. No one has produced a convincing picture of Nessy — although that might change as soon as the locals catch on to Firefly etc. — but that might be because the people who do get those pictures, never make it back to harbor. Perhaps those scientific surveys of Loch Ness might do better if rather than search for the monster, they look instead for sunken boats and digital cameras, (SD cards will have survived the cold and murcky depths a lot better than rolls of 35mm Kodak Ultramax 400.

Unclicking the 'Optimize image dimensions' from above screenshot fixed the issue for me. Im building out different sized digital banner ads; always start a new size from a previously sized one (ie starting with a 300x600; change document size to 160x600 and adjust existing assets / timeline). Thought it had something to do with that.

There are three tools at issue here 1. Lightroom replace 2. PS replace (new) 3. PS generative fill and crop I have used all three of these ad naseum on thousands of images, and I can say beyond any doubt that tools 1 and 3 are rubbish, in terms of the actual output. It is terrible - blurry and devoid of detail. The new PS replace tool however is an absolute revelation, in my opinion the most significant advancement in the history of PS (I'm a daily user since V. 1). For PS generative crop expand, the original method generates completely unusable garbage, but if you simply expland the canvas to a solid color and then use the new replace tool, wow, just wow, it is incredible!!! A truly revloution in image editing. The Lightroom tools produce the same unusuable output (if you care at all about how an image looks at anything larger than seeing the entire image shrunk down onto a phone screen, or if your work will ever be printed) as the original PS tools. Only the new PS replace tool creates detailed, high resolution output.

Exactly! It is also slow and complex. I do not understand why Adobe did that. XD was the best. Yes maybe not a lot a features like figma, but honestly i do not even use it on Figma anyway. My creativitiy on XD has freedom and on Figma i have to do anything with the double effort and also i have to focus more on tool and not creativity. On XD everything was so smooth and easy. Sad.

@oleh_3997 Number one, please log out in both platforms, and just log into the 'work one'...like you, I also have two Adobe Accounts...it's confusing. Since your screen shot shows Xd, you are essentially have it. So, log back into the adobe.com with your work email.... https://www.adobe.com/apps/all/all-platforms see the 'orange' u .... scroll all the way down
until you see Xd:
*NOTE: If by chance you don't see it at the bottom, you may need to wait at least 24 hours. I have read here some people had to wait between 48 hours to 72 hours.... my students have been able to see the 'Install' button within 24 hours after logging in, and yes, we also have the 'Adobe for Enterprise,' and my personal one also shows for 'Adobe for Teams too

This tool is a great help when you are short of time, and the rig is made with the pose of the illustrator, who doesn't think in set up mode. Thank you!

It was an interesting exercise in probing the limits of diffusion models like Firefly. It's been clear for some time that you can't get anything sensible from a Large Language Model if you probe beyond its training data, but I hadn't experimented with any of the diffusion models. GenAI, contrary to the hype, is not able to be creative. Firefly fails spectacularly when you ask for things outside the boundary of its training data and/or that require comprehension of a general concept like "hand." Its aliens are all of a type familiar for decades, it can't put three different animals in an image without getting their parts mixed up, and we all know about the "wrong number of fingers" problem. As far as I can tell, the same applies to Dall-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion, but I don't have the available noodling time to delve into them as deeply. People can use genAI in creative ways, but there's no innovation or originality coming from the AI itself.
