Can anyone tell me what font this is? I have found a couple similar, but none that share all the same characteristics. This is a company I have been printing for for years, but all my originals are very old and getting fuzzy(pixelated), so I'm trying to reset it. Since this is used for their letterhead, I'd prefer my art files that are used for plates be as crisp as possible.
I'm looking for the Adobe font "CTMercuriusStd Medium" and want to license it for banner ads. I haven't been able to find it!
I need to figure out the name of a font but it's in Chinese. I am including a screenshot of the name as it appears in someone's version of Illustrator and a small example of the text. Sending me a copy of the AI isn't possible. Thanks!
Can someone recognize this website font on the sidebar and article page https://www.jaagrukbharat.com/
On the Adobe Fonts Browse All page I changed the sample text to include an uncommon character (ḥ) and received the following message: Seeing lots of xx? We show only a subset of characters on this browse page, which is best explored using the text strings in our drop-down menu. Check the individual family pages to see the full character set and to set custom text. When I go to the page for an individual family as requested, I don't see the full character set, but a list of supported languages. Is there any way on the site to see the full character set for a font? Or is there a place to see what characters a font must include to qualify as supporting a specific language?
I need to find this font so I can purchase it. What is it's real name?[email address deleted by host]
Hello. I have aded MVB Mascot to my creative cloud apps and the font works except for the fact that I can't seem to get any of the tails it shows here https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/mvb-mascot#fonts-section looking to do some baseball themed designs in photoshop and I can't make that trailing swoosh show up or be editable. how do I do that?
Way back when, my company created a simple TTF font that consisted of the company logo, scaleable using font size. This was when PDFs and electronic delivery were less of a concern for us. The font logo now permeates a large number of company documents, which are frequently reused.Years later, I'm back at the company, and we have a problem with the font getting embedded into PDFs. The font was created with Fontographer, and apparently the permission was set not to allow embedding, which is exactly the opposite of what is needed. How does one change the permission for the existing (very narrowly used)? Shall we start from scratch with a new font? If the latter, how do we avoid this problem? Thanks.Message was edited by: gregvalcor
I am trying to modify a font (not a roman script, the glyphs are ideograms) I'm new to FontForge and I struggle to do operations like the following. I suppose that the only possible way is to use a script. Say I have a glyph selection, I'd like to know, for each glyph, what is the lowest point (Y coordinate), and to move the glyph according to a delta I give. Here's a specific example: I select 3 glyphs. I want all glyphs bottom aligned at Y = 100. First glyph has its lowest Y a 80, I move it -20. Second glyph has its lowest Y a 25, I move it -75. Third glyph has its lowest Y a 110, I move it +10. Is there way to achieve this? Command line, script, etc. I searched Stackoverflow for hours. I didn't find anything related." (I also obviously looked at the FF documentation) Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...
I have a single word that has been used as a logo since 1993, that was done by hand by an artist friend of my client. Is [it possible to] create a font based off of 6 letters? [Edited by moderator. This is not a job site.]
Hello Community, I purchased eight MM fonts "back in the day" and am wondering whether Adobe ATM Deluxe or any other program can save the various instances of those fonts as Type 1 Postscript fonts -- i.e. not MM fonts. I seem to recall ending up with a bunch of files with names that contained numbers in them reflecting the weight and width axis. On one of the utility disks I see a program called Font Creator 3.0. Might this be what is used to do that? Sorry for the Oldbe questions -- I can probably figure this out by experimenting, but if anybody knows directly about doing this, I would greatly appreciate it. Alternatively, is there another program that can easily save Multiple Master specific fonts to Postscript Type 1 fonts? Thanks in advance, Tom
Yes, I saw the warnings about Type 1 fonts... I have been using PostScript fonts since 1988, that I paid for, but are now useless, when once they were the gold standard. Accepted fact: Adobe is now using OpenType fonts. Question #1: All of my T1 fonts have vanished from my CC dashboard. Can I assume that Adobe has automatically removed all Type 1 fonts from my dashboard (one less worry)? Question #2: Before obtaining a license, does any InDesign designer here have a similar font replacement suggestion for the Helvetica Neue Condensed family that is available with the Creative Cloud subscription? I see that Palatino is Latin URW and Univers is Trade Gothic. Thanks.
I have a complex site and app using adobe fonts, in many cases integrated with Elementor, but not always. One of the primary fonts I have been using is Futura PT. However it appears Futura PT does not have curly quotes, which I would like to see in certain situations. Any ideas for workarounds? Should I try to make a hybrid with Aktiv Grotesk for example and somehow integrate the two fonts? I'm not sure I can do this, but it's my only thought.Thank you for any suggestions.
Can anyone please tell me which fonts are standard within Adobe and MS office. Someone told me only Arial will not cause any problems. Surely this can't be true? Thanks
Im having a big trouble with this.I have a personal and comercial font family with 70 fonts but only 2 are conflicting each other:ChevySans-NarrowBold.otfChevySans-NarrowBoldItalic.otfIf i install narrowbold first, narrowbolditalic doesnt work, if i install narrowbolditalic, narrowbold doesnt appear. All the other fonts work normal.Ive already deleted the fonts in this ways:- Registry Windows- \\localhost\c$\Windows\Fonts- C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FontsIf ive installed all the pack of family, in notepad for example, the 2 fonts doesnt conflict, in photoshop and illustrator i can't use.Two weeks ago they're working normal. The PC doesnt had any changes and i'm using the last version of each character.I have followed those tutorials but with no sucess:Solved: Unable to install fonts due to conflict. - Page 2 - Adobe Community - 11325191Fonts not showing up in Acrobat, Illustrator or Photoshop (or if System Fonts were accidentally deleted.) - Software - Spiceworks Com
Hello, I’m a student and I’m using the Century Gothic font in Microsoft applications at university. I want to create a logo with this font for my semi-commercial homepage. Can you please tell me whether I need to purchase a license to publish my logo, which only contains individual characters of this font? Thank you very much in advance!
I created a label designfor a client in 2017 using the Adobe font "Veneer".My client is now being approached by someone claiming to be the foundry, stating the "font EULA, appears to be restricted use, yet the foundry Yellow Design Studio has no record of the appropriate license extension(s) having been purchased. This font was not included in my Adobe Cloud subscription prior to January 2023."My understanding (according to the Adobe website terms & cond.) is that the Adobe font is already installed on my end as I own an Adobe Creative Cloud license and pay monthly for it in order to service my clients. Thus I did not need to purchase an extra license.Anyone have any insights into this? Any help would be appreciated.Janeen V
Hello I have the impression that there are 2 different fonts and one is pixelated, but I can’t identify either of them. Could you help me? Thank you.
When opening any Adobe program (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign specifically) on my 2015 Macbook Pro, the programs work just fine overall, but the text on the landing/loading page for each app shows (mostly) as just boxes with x's in them, as if the symbol is not supported - but for every letter of (almost) every word. (see screenshots) Once in the respective app, the menu text works fine for the most part - some of the tool tip pop-ups are buggy like the landing screen, but I can usually manage. I've contacted support previously, but they were unable to provide a solution. I've also looked to see if anyone else has posted about this issue, and was unable to find anything. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, updated to the one of the most recent OS (Monteray) that my device can handle, and have made sure all Adobe programs are up-to-date. I've also tried installing Adobe Clean fonts in case it was something to do with my computer not having the necessary font file, but that
Hello to all,Years ago the Adobe Type 1 typefaces came in white envelopes with the floppy disks enclosed. The white envelopes had legalese printed on them. If my memory serves me correctly, the legalese noted that the end user had bought a license to use the software (the Type 1 fonts) until a certain date. What was that date? I destroyed these white envelopes in a move in 2008. Thanks.
In our software we have two unamed objects a main menu and a task toolbar (New, Copy). In step descriptions should main menu and Task be capitalized? Example: On the main menu, click .... or On the Main menu, click.... Also, I've read on MS you should use "select" not "click". Is that common now?
Hi everyone, I wanted to open a discussion regarding the recent influx of Google Fonts on the Adobe Fonts service. As many of you may have noticed, there has been a significant increase in the number of Google Fonts available on the platform. While I understand the importance of having a diverse range of font options, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed with this trend. My main concern is that Adobe, known for its premium creative tools, could potentially source and license more exclusive or premium fonts for its users. This move would not only enrich the service's offering but also provide added value to our subscriptions. Relying heavily on freely available Google Fonts seems to dilute the premium feel of Adobe's services, which we have come to expect and invest in. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this matter. Do you believe Adobe should focus on acquiring more unique and premium fonts to differentiate its service? Or do you see the integration of Google Font
I have a snippet to put the page number on a document. When I make it, I use the proper new fonts, but when I import it to a document which we reuse regularly, it defaults to a T1 version of the same font. A character style is applied in the original document to create the snippet, but that character style itself is switched to the old font when applied to the new document. How do I stop this behavior?
