When viewing pay slips in Oracle Fusion the PDF preview window only shows half the page by default (see attached). Is there a setting to maximize the browser preview? Already tried removing all Adobe installations including browser extensions using the cleaner tool and reinstalling. Tried different browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) and played around with extension settings but no luck. Not sure if this is the right forum to post, but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Benjamin
I'm facing an issue with saving edits to comments in Adobe Acrobat. Here's the situation:I created a document using LaTeX (compiler unknown, possibly Overleaf or MikTeX locally).I potentially used GhostScript to reduce the file size.I used Adobe Acrobat to leave comments during a meeting and saved the PDF successfully. Now, I'm trying to modify some of the comments by marking them as complete, but I can't save the changes. When attempting to save, I receive the following error message: "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (135)."Pressing Ctrl + OK reveals a further message: "Dictionary keys must be direct name objects."Does anyone have any suggestions on resolving this issue and saving the edited comments in Adobe Acrobat? I would greatly appreciate any insights into the "Dictionary keys must be direct name objects" error in this context. Additional Information:I'm unsure about the specific LaTeX compiler used (potentially

I have found a temporary workaround by opening Reader first then opening the PDF, but that does not work for everyone. How can I switch back to the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that I had before July 1st, 2023?
Hi, is there any workaround for the filename length limit (I believe it's 100 characters?) when creating a new .pdf document?thanks
Downloaded the latest version of adobe acrobat today on our PC and my iPhone trying to open a simple PDF. We get the same message on both devices (see attachment). Any insight? Contacting the company who owns the PDF we are trying to open would be extremely difficult so we are hoping it's a Adobe issue.
Hello,I use Google Chrome and the latest Acrobat DC reader on a two year old laptop. There has never been any kind of issues sending, receiving, printing or opening a PDF until recently. I either download or scan documents into a pdf file then attached at the bottom of my emails inside Gmail. I've done this for years with no issues. I can view, open and print with no problems on my end. I have multiple recipients tell me they only get blank pages on their end. I've tried removing and reloading the software, checked for updates, unchecked security boxes inside the software as well as contacted Adobe customer care who remotely connected to my computer, they found everything seemed normal but couldn't explain. Lastly, when a recipient sends my email back with the same PDF, I also only get blank pages of the document. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2019.010.20098. Starting yesterday, when I attempt to perform an advanced search in a local document library, the search box appears, but I can't enter text. The cursor blinks, but when I attempt to enter text, nothing is displayed. When I try to perform a regular SEARCH (CNTL F), the search box is displayed, but the same problem occurs...nothing appears in the search box when I type.I went into EDIT/PREFERENCES/SEARCH and selected PURGE CACHE CONTENTS, but the problem persists. Thanks!Suzanne
hi Can some one help please? I'm retired and only occasionally need to open documents via emails I can no longer find the Samsung pdf reader on my samsung android phone. What is the link to download a free basic version?
Ok, I don't know if anyone has had this sort of problem before with my old laptop while using Windows 10 I could convert any file to PDF including Notepad, when I open Notepad it would give me the option of choosing to convert the file to PDF and save it to my desktop. Now with the new laptop I download the Acrobat PDF viewer and is total garbage when I open Notepad write something on it and I want to save it as PDF doesn't give the option. I tried contacting Windows they said oh we are so sorry but the only workaround for that is that you put your printer as a Windows printer and then you can save as a file from Notepad and convert it to PDF. Why in the heck would I want to go through all of that hassle!!! Does anyone here have a solution to this problem? Thanks, Carmen
Hi all, I am having a strange issue when sending files by email from Adobe Reader DC. I click the send file button, an Outlook window opens with my file attached but if I add text to the body of the email and send I find that in my outbox and at the recipients end the body of the email is blank (the attachment is correctly delivered though).Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
I work for a small sewing patterns company that sells downloadable PDF sewing patterns. Our customers download their file, open with Acrobat Reader and print at 100% Actual Size, no scaling. This week our team have started receiving support requests from customers whose PDF sewing patterns are now printing 1/8" too small where they previously printed at the correct size. This may not seem like a large amount, but it can sometimes make a big difference when it comes to sewing. So far, we've only had reports from customers using Windows 11, and so far only from customers in north America. Those who have a device using a different operating system have been able to print correctly using their other device, but not everyone has this option. For each report, we've run through everything that we can think of in terms of troubleshooting, including making sure that their Reader is up to date, checking through each individual person's Reader print settings, and checkin
When I click on a PDF file, it immediately becomes a pixilated negative image. If I click out of the document itself, it becomes normal. It cannot be read or properly edited in the pixilated negative image.
Hello,I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installed on my computer. I am trying to create a fillable PDF form that has a submit button on it. My goal is to publish this to my school website so people can send it to my email at the ease of a button. I believe I have followed all the necessary procedures. 1. Made a button on the form. 2. Set the action button to submit the form like this: mailto:"email".Everything seems to be setup correctly, however when I download the PDF on another computer, I click on the submit or send button, and nothing happens. It will allow me to fill in the fillable data lines but the button will do absolutely nothing. The only way it works, is when the PDF is accessed using the computer with DC downloaded on it. Is what I am trying to do possible? If so, please help!
the February 2020 updates keeps failing to install. The error message that comes up says "An error occured. please check for updates again later. error: 130200". We use the adobe acrobat reader 2020 classic install. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling reader, but no luck. I also tried to download and manually install the update, but it fails and says "The upgrade path cannot be installed by the windows installer service becuase the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch." I tried downloading all of the different versions of the update, but i get the same message. [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum] Is anyone elsa having this same issue?
I want to get rid of the XML Forms in my PDF and then save as regular PDF format so that I can merge files into single PDF. When I edit file in Designer and get rid of form elements, then save as PDF. I still can't combine files. I get error that says my file is still Adobe XML. Is there a way to save PDFs that still have forms in them as non-AdobeXML files? If not, how do I get rid of Forms and convert back into regular PDF that I can combine with othe PDFs into one single PDF?
I have a large PDF file collection with reciprocal links to other PDFs, which has been working without any problems for about 20 years.Since the last Reader update of 13/02/2024 (23.008.20533), opening PDF files via a link in the Acrobat form button (Open file) no longer works. The file is only partially opened and the error message "No PDF file" appears and Acrobat closes without any further entries. If I select this file directly for opening, it is loaded without any problems.Note:The linking of PDF files via bookmarks and the linking tool still works. The problem affects all PCs in our company.
I'm running version 2023.008.20555 on a MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.3.1. When I try to print a pdf file from a user account, I get an "unable to print" error message. When I try to print the very same file from an admin account, I have no problem. I have rebooted but have not yet tried reintalling the reader. This is a new problem that I just encountered today, so I suspect a recent OS update migh be the cause.

We run a Windows RDS environment with 4 app servers. The app servers OS is Windows Server 2022, with all the latest updates installed. We use Microsoft Defender for anti-Virus. We have Acrobat Reader (latest update) installed on all the app servers. We have M365 apps for Business (latest update) installed on all the app servers. After the latest Acrobat Reader update, our users have noticed the send to email button is not working anymore. When clicked, a grey box will appear and just hang below the button, if you click the send to email button again, an error popup will appear saying “Adobe has encountered a problem some features may not work as expected”. A learn more button is available, and once clicked, it takes you to an Adobe page with some troubleshooting steps. https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/acrobat/kb/acrocef-rdrcef-errors.html In addition to completing all the steps in the page above, I have also tried the following:Un-installed – > deleted Adobe Registr
We are an MSP company in Aus. We have a client who has Adobe Reader installed under Windows 11and is trying to print to Adobe PDF to convert Word and Excel files to pdf.Originally Adobe PDF didn't show as a printer opton but I followed the Adobe help to add this and it showsup. When I try to print from Word or Excel to Adobe PDF there is no error shown but there is no file output. So, I am wondering if Reader is no longer supported for Adobe PDF? We are on the latest version. No updates available.
