Hello Everyone, I looked a lot and asked the technical people at adobe, but couldn't solve the problem. I have some Japanese documents and only the fonts of the header become gibberish, while the main body of the documents looks OK. The file is secured so I can't control the fonts. In some other files I was able to change the fonts and the problem was solved. But not in this case, the files I'm dealing with are protected. When I view them online there is no problem, but when I open them on the software, header goes crazy. $ [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
Is there any way to increase the comment line width beyond the 12 pt. menu limitation?

I have this case of script but if "X" is negative i would like the script to change and round up instead of rounding down the result. I have no idea on how to do so, can someone help???
I have a pdf with a bunch of images that have text inset, and I need to extract the images while keeping the text in its proper position. It would take too long to explain exactly what it is, but just think of it like a comic strip. The drawings and the word balloons are treated as an image, but the words inside the word balloons are treated as text; you can't select them both at the same time.I know that I can do Snapshot to get both image and text, but it doesn't intelligently find the edge of the image like it does when you're just selecting the image by itself, and it doesn't paste in the image's native size (this part is less important, but the edge-finding is very important). Is there a way to preserve those functions (to save me from additional image-editing steps for each of the many images in the pdf) while still copying over the text as well? It would save me a ton of time if I could just do that all in a single step (there's over 300 images).
Hello, community! I have a user who is getting this window when using Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have seen the same for Acrobat Pro in the past with other users. It says "Acrobat quit unexpectedly. Click 'Learn more' for possible fixes." The "Learn More" button brings me to the following webpage.https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/fix-acrobat-crash-on-launch.html The thing is, Acrobat runs perfectly fine during this and does not crash. This window just randomly pops up while using it or when closing Acrobat. I've seen cases in the past where it randomly pops up even if the user isn't even using Acrobat upon logging into Windows or after using the computer for a while at random. Acrobat does not actually crash, but this popup is annoying for my users. I have tried checking for updates and running a repair on Acrobat. Confirmed "Protected View" was turned off. Any ideas as to what causes this and a solid solution to fix it? Thanks!
I'm not sure If I can truly explain this, but I'll give it a go. I'm trying to print in A5, which I don't have access to. I do have A4, so my obvious option is simply print 2 pages per sheet in A4. Here's my problem:I want to print double sided, but my printer is a single-sided printer. So I've used the method of printing even only, then odd only and reversing the pages. But reverse pages doesn't flip the order of everything, only the order the paper prints. So the pages within the same sheet of paper are still in the original order, which means page 1 of the document isn't opposite page 2 of the document like I want, but is instead opposite page 4. They will not flip within the sheet of paper, it just won't work. Only the order of the paper is flipping, not the pages on the sheet. I'm at a loss and nowhere online seems to have the answer. I'm on a windows device if that helps?
I am using Adobe Reader Version 11.0.23, in Windows 10 in a 64 bit environment, and my PDF thumbnail previews are not appearing. I went to the pWhen I go to https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/enable-pdf-thumbnail-preview-windows-explorer.html it clearly says that updating to the latest version fixes the issue, however according to Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows, lists 23 as the latest version. Also, when I go to preferences, under general / basic tools, the page says the option should be listed like this: When I look at my settings, I don't even see those options (see screenshot below taken from my adobe reader's preferences):Updating to Adobe Reader DC is not an option at this time in my current enterprise environment. Any suggestions?
Hi.... I need to copy PDF files and paste the content of those files into a WordPad file. (I do NOT have Word on my laptop, just WordPad.). How do I do this?
I need to copy my tax documents and send them to my accountant in one email. Please respond in plain English since I am elderly and technology challenged. Thank you.
I've been having issues opening up PDF files on my MacBook. This issue has been ongoing for approximately a month, with no prior changes to my OS other than the usual updates. When launching Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, or when trying to open any PDF file, it launches a shell that shows my wallpaper behind it, but does not load the actual PDF file. I have attached a screen shot below to illustrate what I'm describing.I am using a MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013). The macOS is up to date, on Sierra 10.12.5. Adobe is also up to date, Version 2017 009 20044, and has actually been uninstalled/reinstalled twice in the course of my own troubleshooting.Available storage space on the Mac is 28GB available out of 120GB.I have done some troubleshooting on my own. The following things are true, or are steps that have been taken;Tested several PDF files, none will open properly. This applies to older files, and even new ones just created. Files are not encrypted, nor have they ever been. No error messag

Hi,I am using the latest available version of Acrobat Reader and image markups added after signing a document are not visible when the PDF is opened in Acrobat Reader. However, when opened in MS Edge, Chrome, or Firefox, the image markups are visible. The image markups added before the signature are visible. Does anyone know how can I see the markups in Acrobat?
I was printing this sample letterhead and the result was not as expected. As you can see in the image below, Acrobat Reader removed the whitespace in the middle of the page. There is any setting that can change this behavior so the printed result is equal to the PDF? Already tested printing using Chrome and the result is equal to the PDF as expected.
MacBook Air M1, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, OS 12.7.3, Adobe Reader 2023.008.20533 For about a week, every single time I quit Reader, I get crash report popups that I have to wade through. This is a PITA because the buttons only respond to the mouse/trackpad, not Return. It doesn't matter what file I have opened. It doesn't matter if I close the file before quitting. Are there any preference files I can delete so Reader opens in a virgin state and hopefully start sworking properly agaiin?
When I have to sign a document, I get stuck on the date column. It tells me to fill in the correct format according to the example that comes up. But no matter how I write the date, the program says it's wrong, so now I can't proceed with the signing. What could I have done wrong?
