Problem: A blank screen is visible at the top of the Acrobat window. When using Mac OS, you might encounter a situation where a blank window overlays the Acrobat application window, preventing the closure of Acrobat. This problem seems to arise on Mac OS setups that include dual monitors, especially when one of these monitors is a retina display. Follow these instructions to address the issue: While the blank screen is in focus, press the "Esc" key. Detach the secondary monitor, then relaunch Acrobat. Additional information In a setup where you have two monitors, one of them being a Retina display (high-quality) and the other a regular display (non-High DPI), an issue arises with the appearance of Acrobat dialog boxes. These dialog boxes, where you perform actions like opening files or adjusting settings, become distorted on the regular display. As a result, us
This software is bloated. Trying to use the features advertised and it wants me to activate. Then tells me I am already activated, but still cannot use any features Every step of this program either throws you to the subscription page or useless help pages. Who designed this software. Siging in was a nightmare, forced me to change passwords, needed 3 verfication codes 2 from my main email and 1 from a backup.Brother in Christ this software is awful, do people actually pay for this run around?

Hi all, I have a really wierd problem and was hoping someone here might have either had the same issue or something similar. We have a terminal server that has Adobe Reader installed on it and users can save files there from a proprietary 3rd party software. The problem arises when they try to open the PDF's that have been created by double-clicking the icon. Instead of launching Adobe it does nothing. But, if I open Adobe on the terminal server and browse to that file I can open it from there. We have tried, repairing the installation, uninstalling and reinstalling, gutting the registry after uninstalling and reinstalling, and I have been also just doing online research. We can also copy the file from the terminal server to our individual desktop and then open it, and if we copy it back to the terminal server afterwards it will open, but only that file. If a new one is created in the software the same problem will occur. Has any
Hi Team,I saved a word document as pdf; however, I cannot open the pdf file, it is giving me the error "user does not have rights to consume the content"I signed in successfully to my account, but still the same issue
Acrobat Reader: updated to latest versionWindows 10 ProMS Office 2016: updated to latest version, ran repair and did uninstall/re install. When converting pdf to word and chosing word .docx, Acrobat saves the document as a .docx on my drive, but, when I open the file, it opens in "compatability mode." Which I then have to manually convert to .docx for every single file I convert. This only happens with Adobe. I don't experience this issue with any other software.I want to be able to have this default to open as a .docx file.
Hello dear helpers, I hope the following is possible.I would like to read more difficult English so I wonder if it's possible to write the translation of a word in the comment box of that selected word and somehow get this translation in all comment boxes of this specific word, for example, the word "experiment" I translate in my own language and everywhere in the document this word "experiment" gets automatically the comment box with the translation attached. Thanks in advance,Ben

I have just installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2015 Release and it has a very annoying bug/feature that I don't like. I have to keep removing the Tools Pane using using SHIFT+F4 every time. Is there a way to make this pane dissapear permanently by making this setting stick? This hasn't been a problem in previous versions of Adobe Reader. Please tell me how to remove this annoying pane or issue an update to make this setting stick when opening PDFs. Thanks in advance.
Hi Team, After isntallthe the Widnows monthly pathes KB5027215 for June 2023, Adobe Reader does not lauch.Kindly help to provide your inputs on this
Hi at some point in the last month or so, adobe reader changed to a different UI and since then, every time I open a document or try to navigate in the app I get the pinwheel of death, it's making pdf's unusable. These are basic pdf's in my local downloads folder, macOS Big Sur 11.7.8, Adobe Acrobat Reader 2023.003.20215. What changed and how do I get back to either a simpler reader, or what setting is causing this to get hung up?
I have created a checklist for users to tick boxes when completing each action. The idea is that it can be completed from week to week from a mobile device, tablet or computer. There is no signature needed it is just a checklist with checkbox fields. After they complete the first time, the checkboxes have disappeared and cannot be ticked. (This happens on a mobile). How can this be rectified as the checklist is useless without the function of being to update it as they proceed through the month?
I Have Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2023. Windows 11.It is frustrating when I open it and do a PageUp/Down to see that lines are skipped. The only way to ensure this does not happen is to open in Read Mode CTRL+H.But this is not possible in normal mode.Is there a fix for this?
How can I access PDF meta data in Adobe Acrobat Reader 2022?
I suddenly cannot open PDF files that I have saved. I believe this happened after downloading an Adobe Reader update. When I try to open a PDF file I get this message:"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."However, if I get a PDF file as an e-mail attachment, I can open the file from my email. As an aside, to open a PDF file, I sent it to myself as an attachment and then downloaded and opened it.Also, if I right click on the file and select "Open With" I cannot open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC but I can open with PDF Vista, whatever that is.WildBill@19329 Jan 2017Now I'm really in trouble. I got desperate so I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and tried to reload the program from Adobe. It downloads and then goes all the way through the install process and then says Installation failed. "Newer version already installed" And to make matters worse, the PDF Vista program that was on my computer has gone
Dear all, I wanted to increase my spelling dictionary, but I couldn't find any new dictionaries for Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.x version, I found only for 22.x version, which doesn't work for the newest Adobe.
I sent FM files to someone for edits, but Imges inserted to it are asking for location. Is there a option by which I can sent a complete FM files to someone where there is no image's location issue.
How can I track changes in Adobe Frame Maker Document?
Is there a way to permanently display drawing tools or other frequently used selections on the main tool bar in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? I use drawing tools all the time to take notes on scientific papers and in previous versions of Adobe reader I could customize my toolbar to include my favorite tools in the default display. Now I have to search for drawing tools and launch a secondary toolbar for every PDF I open. I can't even keep the drawing tools displayed within the same session for multiple docs that are open at the same time. Surely there's a way to avoid this annoyance since it seems like such an obvious feature, but despite multiple attempts and online searches, I can't seem to find the solution. Help!
