Hello everyone, I have PDFs that contain OCR information from the scanning process. When I open the PDF files in Adobe Acrobat 2017, the text is selectable and I can copy & paste everything. However, when I convert these files to Word - using Adobe Acrobat 2017 - the reslusting Word often contain images instead of editable text. I assume that this has to do with grey or colored backgrounds in some cases and with poor printing quality (of the scanned documents) in others. Does Adbone Acrobat 2017 do a completely new OCR when converting to Word instead of using the existing OCR data in the PDF file? If so, is there a way to make it use the existing OCR data? Also, weirdly, repeating the conversion process leads to different results. Sometimes the result is mostly or partially editable and something it's mostly images or only one page-sized image.I have some PDFs that are converted perfectly, and so far they differ in two ways: 1. The file details show a different "PDF-V
We are using Client certificate from InCommon which is a .p12 file. I have noticed myself and several users are unable to add this cert file .p12 as a digital id since it give the error "could not open digtial id with the password provdided". We all know that we are entering the correct passwords for each cert. Everyone is using the latest Adobe Reader 2023. Does anyone know what could be causing it to not accept the digital id password?

They can open all the attachements. The files are not corrupt. Also, the settings are identical. Allow Opening Of Non-PDF File Attachments With External Applications is set to activated. Also, I noticed that when I list the attachements of the PDF-file for me, that one

Hi everyone. Whenever I print a PDF file with an odd total number of pages, the back of the first sheet stays blank, page 2 is printed on the second sheet. Of course I'm talking about double-sided printing. Why?
I have upgraded from a Windows laptop at work to an 'older' iMac from home. There 'was' a properties box next to 'Advanced' where I could set paper size / feed / location etc, but it has gone. Would appreciate a fix please, or where I need to look next. Please and thank you.
Hi, I want to make sure, that users only uses our internal certificates issued from or internal Certificate Authority (CA). Is there a way, to allow digital signing of documents only with certificates which have been issued from a specific Root CA or Intermediate CA? Users should not be able to use self-created or issued certificates or from different CAs.Question is related to Adobe Reader DC (v23.3)thanks, Alex
Hello, I have a state form I have to fill out regularly for business. It is an editable form that should copy fields on to following pages after I type them in (ex. name, addresss, state, etc.).I tried on Computer #1 a PC that only has Adobe Reader and I could type but the text did not copy over. Then I tried on Computer #2 a PC which is older than Computer #. I could fill out the form and the text copied over.Next, I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro onto Computer #1. I had to manually type and the form was no longer reading as a fillable file. Then, I tried on a Computer #3 a Mac that had Adobe Pro. The form was fillable and the text copied over.I tried again on another person's device, Computer #4 a Mac with only Adobe Reader and I could see fillable fields on the first page but the text did not copy over. I have now spent multiple hours and used multiple people's devices to try to trouble shoot this. It looks ike Adobe Acrobat Pro is the solution but for some reason it's
I have three different printers that I use for different things. Since my last update, acrobat has decided that whatever the last printer I used, in a different program, is the one it is now going to print from. I cannot express enough how much it distresses me every time my labler starts trying to spit out police reports hundreds of pages long. I need it to only use the printer that is set up for paper documents, and I cannot be selecting the correct printer, the only printer I want it to see at this point, every time I start a print job. Why is it doing this, and how do I make it stop. I cannot find anything in the menus. When I print PDFs from emails through my browser, this does not happen.I am ready to find a garbage free app through my web browser, since my web browser is apparently better for this, so that this stops happening. -very frusterated.

I'm on Mac Air (M1, 2020) OS Monterey version 12.3.1. I've got installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2022.001.20112.I'm trying to attach a PKCS#11 Module, so I installed the proper driver (Gemalto). This driver is located in /usr/local/lib/pkcs11/libgclib.dylib and it works as I can digitally sign a PDF through another software in my Mac. However, when trying to attach the PKCS#11 Module in Adobe (through Preferences > Signatures > Identities & Trusted Certificates > PKCS#11 Modules and Tokens > Attach Module) it's always the same output: "Could not load the PKCS#11 Module".Any ideas? Thanks in advance,Sebastian.
I cant access this PDF in any way to open it with something else or anything because it requires a password that i never set. please help

Hello- zoom setting will change on at least one particular saved file on my laptop computer. I click on the two top book marks & zoom defaults to 53.2% every time. It will stay at 53.2% for all bookmarks in that file until I manually increase zoom. I increase zoom to say 100% and it stays at 100% until I click on either top two bookmarks. I have tried edit> preferences> page display> zoom (changed from automatic to 100%...etc.) & still will not keep zoom at 100%. I can send screen shots to you if that will help diagnose the problem.
