Acrobat Reader

Hi Community,we are developing a PDF with from fields and having "NotAllowed" exception with method setDataObjectContents actual in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The goal is to read the form data as string and put it as file attachment into the attachment list of the same PDF.Is there a way to script this without running into security issues using actual Adobe Acrobat Reader? Many Thx's in advance! 

I am trying to print one page at a time at 50%. It prints them in the middle of the page and I am wondering if there is a way to get it to print in the upper left corner when I choose 50%?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

HelloI have a weird issue with one of our customers and one of their employees, they have a network shared printer which works fine for everything, the user has contact to the printer, can use the printer with everything except Acrobat Reader, nothing happens when he press "print", we've tried different settings for the print, like printing as an image, etc, but still wont fix it. But it gets even weirder, it can actually work sometime, it's literally random, it will work for like a hour and he'll be able to print from the Acrobat Reader, and then it will stop to work again. And yet, it gets even weirder, he can ALWAYS print PDF files in Edge, but never in ChromeSo he can print PDF files in Edge, but not in Chrome, and almost never in Acrobat Reader. Anybody knows the issue here and can suggest a solution?Thanks!

Still having problems opening saved files from HTML to JPG

Guten Tag,ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht, eine Antwort auf das License Agreement zur Weiterverteilung des Adobe Acrobat Readers zu erhalten. Ich habe das Formular unter: https://get.adobe.com/reader/licenseformschon mehrfach innerhalb einiger Wochen ausgefüllt und abgesendet, leider erhalte ich keinerlei Antwort auf das Formular. Ich würde gerne aber den Acrobat Reader bei uns in der Organisation verteilen. Was kann ich ansonsten noch tun? Vielen Dank und beste Grüße!

I can open pdf files but they disappear after a few seconds and I cannot open them again...

Hola! Favor solicito su ayuda. De un dia para otro la aplicación no responde bien:1.- Aparece error interno al dar clic en cualquier pestaña  y no se desaparece al poner " aceptar" sino que continua marcando error interminables veces hasta que se bloquea la aplicación.2.- No aparece información de los iconos.3.- No puedo hacer nada en la pantalla porque se bloquea.  Estas sonlas fotos de como me aparece:    Ya probe con desintalar e intalar de nuevo a través d lea plataforma varias veces y también ya intente seguir pasos de otros casos de soporte tecnico limpiando todo lo relacionado con Adobe del equipo y volviendo a instalar la aplicación a traves de este enlace : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html Nada me sirve, por favor ayuda!

I am having issues with the Adobe Scan app. This app used to be so reliable and fast and saved so much time in work. Now, it can take 5 minutes upwards to send even a small sized PDF. I have ensured all updates are installed on both app, phone and PC. I cannot understand why it is now doing this - can anybody help?  

I must deployed Adobe Acrobat Reader MUI every other month because auto update is not working on my devices.  I currently deployed 23.001.20143 to get all of my devices caught up but all of my devices will not update when this months patch drops. I did read on a couple forums about the EULA needing to be accepted. I spot checked a couple devices and the log did say the EULA wasn't accepted when I tried to kick of the update process for task scheduler. This was a few updates back. I started accepting the EULA via acrobat customization wizard and redeploying the product. The error does go away in the log but the issue is still present. The devices will not auto update.

PDF files on my desktop are showing the thumbnail of the PDF instead of the icon. I want it to show the Adobe PDF icon instead. How do i fix this? Example explained in the attached.

Acrobat Reader's scrolling performance is very bad when viewing my banks statements AND Protected Mode is enabled. I would expect the scrolling performance to be better with Protected Mode enabled since it disables various features. However, as soon as I "Enable All Features" (i.e. disable Protected Mode) the scrolling performance is good. Is this a bug? To clarify, when I say scrolling performance is bad the document is jerky and there is "tearing" of the document as it moves.  This is repeatable and happens with various documents. I am using Windows 11 Enterprise, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Core-i5 13th Generation.

Oi pessoal se alguém puder me ajudar nesse problema que esta me enlouquecendo.   O icone vermelho do PDF não aparece mais nos meus arquivos quando estão no modo de exibição lista, procurando emvarios foruns me indicação usar o modo miniatura, que aparece a capa. Mas não é isso que eu quero. Gosto e preciso que o modo de exibição estaja junto com a data da ultima modificação ou do donwload.   Aguem já teveum problema parecido e/ou pode me ajudar?   Segue a foto de como está com uma capinha branca, ao invés da logo do adobe.     Obrigada!

Whenever I launch Acrobat Reader it keeps giving me distracting startup prompts that I have not asked for. I have disabled the preference about startup messages but it has no effect on these prompts. Below is an example of such a prompt alongside the abovementioned setting.

I  have users who have the same relaease. Version 2023.001.20174. One user will see "add tools" and is able to Stamp all pages. The other users " add tools" is not showing. Is there a fix workaround for this? Thanks

I have version 23.001.20174 installed.  I have repaired the app & uninstalled & installed again.  I get same messages as shown in the 2-attachments.  I had all Avast Shieds disabled & then tried to open & get same 2-messages.  What can I try?

HiI've installed the Acrobat plugin (version 15.1.3.43) for Chrome. When I click on a pdf file in chrome on the web, it opens in the Acrobat extension. But if I save the pdf file, when I go to open it in chrome, it doesn't open in the Acrobat plugin, but in the Chrome viewer. I'd like to be able to open saved pdfs in the Acrobat plugin.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance   

Is it possible to toggle between tabs? If not, to open docs in separate windows?

 

Hi,  I created a form using the prepare form feature and sent it out to people, and when I got it back, I couldn't see their signatures. So I have tried the fixes that have been suggested, and they aren't working. It is particularly the digital signature that isn't working, but it works when people do the traditional insert signature. So I have updated Adobe too. 

When batch plotting multiple drawing pages from AutoCAD on my Windows 11 PC, the resulting PDF displays poorly on screen. Until recently I've been able to solve this by simply "printing to PDF" from Acrobat. For some reason, now when I print to PDF from Acrobat all black lines show up as grey (see below). I can't find any settings related to preserving the same level of black when printing to PDF.
