Acrobat Reader

Adobe Reader DC keeps intermittently crashing while using fillable forms. This mostly happens when using the drop down menus for dates but also happens when I copy & paste information from an email onto the forms. I don't have any issues when typing text or typing dates in the drop down fields and there are no issues inserting pictures. Only with drop down dates and copy & paste. I'm on Windows 11 and copying & pasting from Gmail or Outlook 2019. Thank you in advance. William Scott

I learned not from the Community, and not from mythical or non-existent Adobe Support, but from a colleague, that in order for a PDF containing many comments to function in Reader DC, one must uncheck the default-checked "Preferences > Show comments pane when a PDF is opened".

Since the last update there has been problems on 3 different computers with sending .pdf as mail attachment from Adobe Reader. The problem occurs after a few mails have been sent. First few mails work perfectly, but after that pressing the envelope button opens a white screen with a loading circle which spins forever. The only option is to kill the task. After that it might work again for a few e-mails. We are using the most recent version of Adobe Reader DC 2019.012.20034 and different 2016 versions of Outlook.

We have some users who are reporting that printing is slow to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW printer from 64-bit Adobe Acrobat Reader 2023.001.20143 on Windows 10 Version 21H2. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:Uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Acrobat ReaderUninstalling and re-installing the Brother MFC-L2707DW printer driverClicking on the Advanced button in the Print Dialog box, and then checking Print to ImageClicking on the Advanced button in the Print Dialog box, and then checking Let Printer determine Colors The users who are experiencing issues printing to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW from Adobe Acrobat Reader are not having issues printing to a Brother MFC-L2700DW or Brother MFC-L2707DW from from other apps such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. The problem is irritating for the users who are trying to print PDF's from Adobe Acrobat Reader as it takes a few minutes to get a single PDF file pri

Hello,I have been trying to enable the option "Remember current state of Tools Pane". I noticed this feature is in Acrobat DC Reader, but not Acrobat DC Pro.Is there a similar option for Pro?If not could we acquire an update for this option as I feel this pertains to Pro as much, if not more than, Reader.Thank you,Zachary C.

When we open PDFs with Adobe Reader and then close them a pop up appears asking if we want to save the changes even when no changes are made. Is there a setting somewhere that will stop this from occuring?Thanks

For a number of reasons I prefer to use Firefox as my internet browser. Unfortunately in recent years that has become a problem. For example, I can no longer fill in Adobe forms and so on, using Firefox.

What are some reasons that would cause a PDF in Adobe that is only 2 pages to  add a 3rd blank while Printing.  I would not like to print a 3rd blank page.

Hello,From time to time the signature (and I'm just talking about the hand drawn one) saved into Adobe Reader just goes missing. Yes, it's an easy fix to just add it back, however it will sometimes do it multiple times in a day - which slows down productivity.Tried updating to the latest version (2022.001.20169) however the issue persists.Any suggestions?

Hi, When trying to use Adobe, I keep getting a verification code being sent to the main users email address. We did not have a 2 Computer limitation before. But since friday everyone trying to sign in is being asked for a verification code.  Are there any solutions for this? Thanks

If have have adobe acrobat reader installed and I log in with an account that has a subscription to acrobat pro. Will the features of acrobat pro work in reader or will I have to uninstall reader and install acrobate pro?

Every PDF I open in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC open in a 175% view.  How do I change this settings so my documents open in 100% view?  

Hey everyone!I'm not sure when it started, but I am now no longer able to print single-sided. All documents print double-sided. I am running the latest version of Reader on the latest version of Mac OS. I have obviously pressed the "Printer" button on the bottom of the Reader print dialogue box and verified that "two-sided" is not checked. I also tried printing the same document through Preview (the default mac viewing application) and had no issue printing double sided. I have also tried printing to multiple printers and get the same issue. So there is something that makes Reader think I want to print double sided. Really would prefer not to have to use Preview but I don't do double-sided printing (it's inconvenient for my needs) so really hoping to fix this. Any input is appreciated.

Can anyone tell me why all my fonts work when editing a PDF EXCEPT Optima? I'm working on a MacBook and software is up to date. I cannot even change two numbers in a phone number. This is the only font this happens with. Also, I am not a graphic designer, but can edit a simple PDF.

I just installed Acrobat Reader DC.  It's a nice idea to put all files that are open at the same time in tabs of one  window, but I sometimes want to look at two files side by side (for instance to compare a file and a revision of it), as was possible with older versions of Reader.  Is there any way to show two files at the same time?

Is there any way to do this?  I hate not having control of WHEN an update gets installed.  If this is not possible, it SHOULD BE.

Hi,I created a form with interactive fields in Adobe Acrobat. When I drag this file and try to fill it directly in Google Chrome I have a problem with the local font (Polish). Polish letters seem distorted (thin). Is there any way to fix this?Should I use some particular type of font in the text fields to make all the fonts look right filling the form in Google Chrome?Please help
