Hello, since yesterday we can not open PDFs in browser and when we download it on our PC it has a size of only 1 Byte. What can be the reason for that?
I recently installed Win 11 on a new hard drive. For some reason, everything I download, regardless of what it is, downloads as a zipped Adobe file. For example, I have Husqvarna embroidery machines, and when I download the files, they download in a vip or hus zipped format. But instead of showing the zipped icon (stach of books for Winrar or whatever is it tha WinZip has) everything downloads as Adobe. My unzip program specifically for these formats, does NOT recognize the Adobe file and can't unzip it. I still need the read doc for the colour charts and instructions so I still need the Adobe Acrobat. Any suggestions?? Can someone please help me resolve this issue. Thank you so much! Rikki
Dear community,I run Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in its latest version (downloaded today) under Windows 7.Every time I want to use Acrobat Reader to print a PDF on my Brother HL-2135W printer I get the following error messages :1. Impossible to print document (I run a French version. Message in French is: Impossible d'imprimer le document.)After clicking on OK the second error message appears2. Error during printing the document (Erreur pendant l'impression du document)This is not related to a specific document, becausea) It happens with every PDF, even PDFs I printed before.b) I can print the same PDF through Chrome. Also the printer works as I can print other types of documents (email, Word, etc.) and even PDFs using Chrome.Printing works when choosing PDFCreator as printer. I get the same error message with Microsoft XPS Document Writer.I have already restarted the computer many times, and I have uninstalled the software (incl. with Revo Uninstaller) and reinstalled it.The problem occurr
Good afternoon,I'm having a problem with Acrobat Reader DC.When i try to print a PDF from it, it defaults to multiple page printing and not to single page as it should. How can i solve this situation since it's very annoying. If i forget to click on the single page button it always print 2 pages in the sheet... Thanks for the help
As of two days ago, one user is now facing an issue on an RDS server, shared with multiple other people (who do not have this issue) where the user goes to print a PDF and instead of seeing the document ready to print in the preview window, it is blank. On further investigation we can see the Comments & Forms drop down box is defaulting to "Form fields only" and I cannot find anywhere to change this default setting. The document prints fine when changed to "Document and Markups". On another device I do not even see the "Form fields only" option and on another user profile on the RDS server I can see the option for "Forms fields only" but "Documents and Markups" is the default.Anyone have any ideas where to change this setting?
Is there a reason why when I open file from Adobe's cloud storage that the commenting tool bar does not include the drawing items?
Hi,I have just downloaded the new version of adobe. Unlike last year I cannot find two page view. I have read other posts about this problem but still can't find the 'hamburger' or anything to help me...Attached is a picture of my screen.
I made an Adobe account especially for this posting. I am not someone who complains a lot or writes all over the web about software. But for this new DC thing I make a big exception.I did build a new PC and after that I also went over to Adobe site to download Adobe Reader. Something was there by default called Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.Mmm, confusing: I don't have or want Acrobat, that's a complete other line of Adobe products. So had to search but no, turns out that for some reason the reader now also is part of the Acrobat line. Plus only DC is offered, nothing else.Well okay, download and install.First impression: looks weird, a way to big tools sidebar too. Ah well, I can disable that. Nope, the sidebar is always there.Interface and layout: horrible. But okay, I can learn to live with that.Okay, next step: disable the automatic update. Nope, can not be done, the auto update is always On.Well okay, lets see if I can get rid of all the "become member" and "Cloud" notifications. Nope,
Text to speech adobe, exist? Or which is the best solution for?
I have dealt with this problem several years back but cannot find my notes anywhere. And the prior iteration was surely with some much earlier version of the Reader. When printing some documents that contain text, the characters in the text are shifted: A becomes B, B becomes C, C becomes D, etc. For example, "pdf" would become "qeg". I see posts online regarding this problem when printing TO .pdf using Adobe print engines such as within Adobe, something about using system fonts, not document fonts; however, my problem is not with creating .pdf files using an Adobe product, but rather with printing them from the Reader. Here are a few facts. The .pdf file appears correctly on-screen. Only in the print process are the characters shifted. It occurs only with .pdf files, not other documents; I can print the body of an e-mail without any such character-shifting, but when I attempt to print the .pdf attachment to that same e-mail, characters are shifted.I already know about the "fix" by clicki
Where there is a button that says "copy subject" or "copy content" I want to add a function to the pdf that will copy the content in the box to the users clipboard. There is need to make fillable first or it will work in normal PDF? Kindly see the attached screenshot. Thanks in Advance.
I've spent hours trying UNSUCCESSFULLY to fill out and digitally sign this [government] document below. https://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-20-10206-ARE.pdfI can fill in the fields while in chrome browser, but can not digitally sign it "in the browser" on Windows 10. I downloaded the PDF (already filled in with my info) but the Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2023.001.20143 has the "add signature" grayed out under the "Sign" tab. Also under "Use a certificate" the "digitally sign" is grayed out also. This is SO F'ing frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do need to do to digitally sign this document?TIACarroll
I have tried converting a Word document into a PDF form, but the result is a fillable Word form, not a PDF form. I have Acrobat Pro Standard, but all the instructions I can find are for Acrobat Pro DC, so I am wondering if I don't have the right software. I cannot find an answer anywhere.
Hello, I have a PDF that has multiple fillable Text fields, but when I upload the PDF into our system for people to fill out, their responses are showing up upside down on some of the fillable fields and not the others. A workaround I have found was to export the file as a png then export that back into a PDF, however the quality really decreases. Can anyone provide some guidance here

My company uses Zipforms Plus for all documents which offers the convenience of digital ink. The problem that I run into is that I am not able to download any of the documents. I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (19.010.20098) but every time I attempt to download, a box pops up that displays:Save a Blank Copy of this FormData typed in this form will not be saved. Adobe Acrobat Reader can only save a blank copy of this form.(light bulb icon) Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records. (button to "Print Form")
Since I don't have a job at the moment, I had to delete all my graphic applications, but now my acrobat reader doesn't work either, I can't open PDF files, can you help me? My Email: [PI removed by moderator]
A PDF generated by Microsoft PowerPoint 2019 has a keywords metadata: /Keywords(<semicolon-separated_keywords>) Google Chrome and FireFox PDF.js readers will display the keywords in the document properties, but not Acrobat Reader, why? The PDF Reference, version 1.7 (version of this PDF file) includes this metadata among others, although it is not specified whether or not the list should be separated by semicolons. Also, using only one keyword to isolate the problem does not change anything. (Original question.)
