Acrobat Reader

We have sporadic problem when a document has been annotated, the main view turns white and the content disappears. Only the yellow comment fields remain in the display. We have had this problem for some time in older versions including the current version 2022.003.20282. See attachment for screenshot of the error.Thank you for your support

Olá,Estou tentando assinar um arquivo pdf com a assinatura digital, porém ao clicar em "Assinar" o sistema trava, ou seja, ele para não abre a caixa para salvar o arquivo.Na imagem abaixo me refiro a opção que clico e nada acontece: A tela que deveria abrir seria a seguinte: OBS: Desisntalei e instalei o Adobe, também já reisntalei o certificado mas não obtive sucesso. 

I sell an eBook that I've not updated in two years. A customer who purchased it today said that the pages are displaying correctly in AR. So I checked and sure enough it's not. I'm on a Mac and so is customer and it works fine in browser or Mac Preview. But in AR only the cover displays right.  I've attached the screen shots. Not sure what changed in AR.  TIA

english version below Hallo zusammen,  wir nutzen die Creative Cloud im Team und haben seit ca. drei bis vier Wochen das Problem, dass der Acrobat Reader von den Lizenzen beeinflusst wird. Bisher war es so, dass der Reader auch funktionierte, wenn man keine Lizenz in der Cloud mehr hatte. Nun können PDFs zwar ohne Lizenz geöffnet werden, das Programm hängt sich aber sofort auf und zeigt nur eine Uhr an - nichts kann mehr angeklickt werden.  Wir haben auch den kostenlosen Reader installiert, jedoch scheint die Cloud diesen seit neuestem immer durch die Lizenzversion zu ersetzen. PDFs können nur noch gelesen werden, wenn eine Lizenz vorhanden ist. Die Probleme traten aus heiterem Himmel, ohne erkennbares Update oder ähnliches auf; niemand hat zuvor etwas umgestellt.  Eine Kollegin hat zudem seit heute zusätzlich das Problem, dass auch InDesign trotz vorhandener Lizenz über die Cloud nicht mehr funktioniert. Ik heb de nieuwste versie van Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (64-bit) gedownload. Na veel zoeken zag de Nederlandse versie. Na de installatie bleek ik toch alles in het engels te krijgen.Ik heb de volgende stappen gedaan: Edit>Preferences Language> choose at application startup>okdaarna adobe gezloten en opnieuw opgestart.Het blijft in het Engels en daar heb ik veel moiete mee.Wat kan ik doen om de applacatie toch om te zetten in het Nederlands? Erika

Hello all, When I open a file in Acrobat Reader and want to close it without modifying anything on it, the software asks me “Do you want to save changes before closing?”.Why does this happen?Also, how could I fix it so that it doesn't ask me if I want to save when I haven't modified anything? Thanks,Fiorella

What does the expiry date "Valid to: ..." imply for a certificate? If I understood correctly, the digital ID can no longer be used for signing, but what happens after expiration date, is the signature readable, and can it be validated?Is there any documentation on that?Thank you in advance for any help on the topic.

Hi there, I have tried everything to delete this digital certificate from my Adobe account.  It is a self-signed certificate attached to my yahoo mail.  It happened as I filled in a form on Adobe and it asked for a certificate and I completed the information.  It is causing me problems and I cannot delete it.  I have looked up Global Digital Cybersecurity Authority Co., Ltd and this is a Chinese company with all website in chinese no english option.  Can anyone assist?  Can Adobe delete this from my account?    Thank you

Hello,A couple of colleagues and I are trying to create an automation that could potentially save my team hundreds of hours while doing quality checks on documents, but we are bumping into a roadblock.The idea is to create a UiPath bot to search and stikeout (or highlight) instances of certain misspelled words in a PDF so that it doesn't need to be done manually. The issue is that, once the bot (or user) finds and strikes out the first instance of a word in a page, clicking "next" on the search box returns to the first instance of that word and the bot gets stuck searching and marking the same word over and over.Is there a solution for this? Would this be something that Adobe would consider patching up in Reader DC? Thanks!

Basically Im a [Moderator: link removed] writer and for the reseach purpose i have to go through different PDF books and if i get something intresting i Copy that text and compile it as key point of that book and convert it to PDF. Recently i have purchased Adobe PDF reader and editor but unfortunately whenever i try to edit the txt its take me to the cloud storage and ask me to convert or edit file there. Can someone help me to figure it out.

After installing Windows 11, Adobe Acrobat Reader Dc does not open.Acrobat reader has been selected as the default pdf reader.Ran the Adobe troubleshooter.There is no choice for Windows 10 in the compatibility Mode.

Hola!Al momento de querer crear una firma y dar click en la opción "Add Signature", la aplicación pareciera no responder y quedarse en blanco No sé si es un problema de conexión o algún error común.

Cuando cargo el archivo para la firma me dice que hay un error en cargar el archivo, pero intento con otros y me pasa lo mismo. Son archivos de balances de mi empresa que tiene que firmar el contador. y no se como hacer para solucionar el problema

Hi there!I have been using a digital certificate (issued by the Spanish Authorities) for signing pdf documments. No problems for years.I just updated the certificate. I added to adobe reader as before but I can´t use it. It doesn´t appear when I try to use it. I contacted the Spanish Authorities and they say the certificate is valid (it works perfectly online) and I need to contact Adobe. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks Rafa

Hi Community,following problem occurs:If Adobe Reader is installed and user moves PDF files from one folder to another in the explorer, Windows is freezing for a few minutes.If Adobe Reader is NOT installed the problem doesn't occur. Not using the Adobe reader is not an option.What could be the reason for problems while moving files (if Adobe reader is installed)?Reader already re-installed, repaired and it is the current version.Many thanks in advance for helpful ideas regarding this problem.Elke

Hi, I'm getting a prevhost.exe whenever i'm closing windows explorer.It basically says in french : "The instruction at 0x00000 referenced memory at 0x0000. Memory state can't be read". I'm using the latest version of Acrobat Reader 64bit. Also I did a sfc /scannow in windows cmd and everything was normal. Thank you for your help, Lucas.

Szép pénzt fizetek most a semmiért. Volt Pro előfizetésem, mert szükséges némely szolgáltatása. Aztán ezeket a kínálatot napról a másikra nem tudtam elérni. Újra telepítettem, nem jöttek elő. Aztán felmondtam. Most újra megvette, és ugyanaz a semmi. A File menüben még nyomtatási lehetőség sincs. Az ingyenes verzió többet tud. Én lettem pária a cég szemében vagy csak szivatják a népet? A semmiért pénzt elkövetelni másoktól. Ha nem állítja vissza a cég napon belül a PRO szolgáltatásaim teljes körét, akkor kérem vissza a befizetett pénzemet. Az ilyen cégek vezetőit el kéne küldeni a gulágra rendet tanulni! Szégyen! Rablók!

Hello, I hope you can help me.When I annotate a document using the "T", I can see the annotation clearly in the dark blue color I selected.When I'm finished with my annotation and I click somewhere else on the document, the annotation fades, as if the opacity was set to very low. It isn't possible to change the opacity, though, right?If it is, it's possible I unintentionally set it to very low. Thank you all in advance for your help.

This is a really annoying problem. If I leave a pdf file open in Reader for more than a few hours, and I attempt to look at any of the pages of the document that are more than a page away from the page I was last viewing, the other pages are blank. If I'd been filling in the doc or adding sticky notes but hadn't save the document, only the entries and notes will be visable, and the rest of the page will be blank. If I save the file before closing, it saves it permanently with blank pages. I'm losing my mind here. Why can't Reader pull data from the original file location so the doc can be viewed for long periods of time without going blank? Do you think this issue is because Reader is getting the file info from Google Drive for Windows?

Can I sign multi pdf documents (electronic signature) in one time?

I have used adobe acrobat reader for many years and continue to do so. Last August, I purchased PS Elements and Premier Elements through Dell with a new laptop. Both apps were installed and seem to work ok, however recent issues with saving passwords in Edge browser reared their ugly head, and there seems to be a connection with Windows User Credentials. Gazing upon this page Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Credential Manager has a page full (~30) adobe entries, ex:   all "Modified Today" Where can i find a document that has technical description of which adobe apps "Adobe App Info" modify windows 10 credentials and how this freaky control mechanism impacts access to each of the adobe apps. I have also noticed that Adobe "Creative Cloud" was installed without notice along with Acrobat DC, PS and Premier Elements. Hello,My company has recently upgraded to the new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2019.008.20074) and everytime they click the "Send as Email" button in the toolbar, they are prompted to select either "Default Email Application" or "Webmail", on the right side. After clicking Continue with "Default Email Application" selected, it then prompts whether they want to Send Link or Send Copy.This process produces a couple more clicks and as silly as it sounds, they need to sift through/send hundreds of PDFs, causing unneeded wasted time. We have tried setting the Default email applications as the default Email Account in Edit > Preferences > Email Accounts and then clicking the  "Make Default button, but this had no change.Question: Is there a way to bypass the two prompts so that the email draft (with attached PDF) popups up right after clicking the "Send as Email" button?

Olá a todos! Preciso da vossa preciosa ajuda nesta questão.Elaborei um documento em Indesign, que contém inúmeros ficheiros de áudio.No fim, exportei como PDF Interativo.No computador, através do Adobe Acrobat Reader, consigo ouvir perfeitamente os ficheiros de som/ áudio em cada uma das páginas, clicando nos mesmos.Mas infelizmente, no telemóvel, através também do Adobe Acrobat Reader, não consigo ouvir os ficheiros de som/ áudio que coloquei.Sabem dizer-me o que preciso de fazer para conseguir reproduzir cada um deles no telemóvel? Agradeço imenso pela vossa atenção e tempo.Marta

Here at my day job, we just uploaded about 20 PDFs to a new folder on our Sharepoint and when you try to open the PDFs from File Explorer, Acrobat Pro opens and says "access denied". If i download the PDF to my desktop, it opens fine. If i right click and "open with" using Chrome or Edge, they open fine. I've even gone so far as to re-scan the documents and replace them, but still the same issue. I dont know if this is an Adobe issue or a Sharepoint issue, but we need to access these files! Does anyone know what i can do to resolve this?
