Acrobat Reader

Hi Adobe,Our company started to use AIP plugin for creating secured PDF recently. We observed that the secured PDFs created with AIP label could not be opened by Acrobat Reader (with AIP plugin isntalled also) on some workstations. The following error occurs when user trying to authenticate using their email address:We have whitelisted RDRcef proccess following the aritcle on your website and verified that Windows defender is not blocking it.  Latest Acrobat reader (32-bit) and AIP plugin are installed on our windows 10 systems. After further investigation, we found that the 'irandom' value in the following reg path seems causing this issue.Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\WebResourceIf the value is below '1000' (hex base) ,  user will get this error.If the value is above '1000', user will be able to open the secured PDF after completing authentication. However, this value gets randomise by itself after installation/reins

Running OSX Catlina 10.15.7. on a Macbook Pro 2013. Plenty of free disc space.Acrobat Reader DC Version 22.001.20112 taken from application file info because I can't get to the about info in the app. Open (by double clicking any PDF) or simply by opening Acrobat Reader on it's own.Acrobat Reader is immediately unresponsive. Sometimes causes the whole system to crash.

Hi,we all know the registry key DelegateSentItemsStyle to get Outlook to save sent items to shared mailbox but:this doesn't work if you open a pdf file, and select to send it as attachment in a new email. It will open a New Outlook message, you can still select the From address to be the shared mailbox but the actual sent email is saved in your default mailbox. Is there any solution to fix this?

I have tried many times to open JPEG documents and always get a message stating Adobe does not work with this kind of document. Is there something I am missing?

No purchase was attempted & I was texting (samsung galaxy 10e) so not using adobe, but I get random pop up "adobe network error occured. Try again later. ic100002/ getproductdetails/com.adobe.reader Other posts show up with google search but no fix. Anyone know what this is? Should I be concerned about virus etc?  

Hello,I use Mac OS and have the current update for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Continuous Release, Version 2019.010.200999I have a document completely filled out, but whenever I try to save or share the document I get the "unable to read document (109) message. Really hoping this can be rectified before I lose my progress as I spent multiple hours filling out the information on the document. Thanks

Using Reader DC version 2022.001.20117/64 bit on a Windows 11 system.  When I change a preference, close the window and reopen it the change has reverted back to the default setting.

 Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2022.001.20117: How to identify the resolution (in dpi) of a scanned pdf file? I couldn’t figure out how to identify the resolution (in dpi) of a scanned pdf file. When it comes to images, one can just right click and all are there.         

we had two servers with windows server 2016 standard, which was installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 32 bit, however, we can not find the check for update option in the software, which can be found in other servers and PC clients. Is there any way that we can fix this? Thank you

The thing is i have installed it with latest version of ubuntu, and when i want to loggin a white box appears, but nothing else, i can see the welcome pdf but that's  it. Please help

I downloaded a pdf reader. After that, I can not read and save invoices. This is mistake? Or is this a violation on my part, by me, of the user agreement? 

I have a interactive PDF created in Indesign with a button to submit form (PDF the complete document) to a email address. In Adobe Reader or Pro DC it works perfectly. On the adobe web plugin  (Both Chrome & Edge) there is the below  message, when you click connect this erroe appears.Form data cannot be submitted to provided server 

I cannot get my Adobe to open. I click it and it bounces once, then nothing. I am unable to open any PDFs and I desperately need to. I followed another's advice and deleted the Acrobat.plist file and restarted after (I think) I ran the command on the terminal people were saying to run. Restarted my computer and it still won't open. HELP!!!

Hello,I manage IT in a company. I have a really strange problem on 1 PC with acrobat reader.Sometimes on this PC it is impossible to enter 2 at the keyboard in acrobat reader, and only in acrobat reader.In any other software (word,...) I have no problem.  Does somebody had a similar problem ? Anthony A.

A few seconds after I open Acrobat Reader it beachballs (spinning multicoloured circle). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but still happening. Help!

Hi. I'm not happy with the program, but due to the super high cancellation fees, I waited one year. But now after one year, I see that the cancellation fees are almost the same, more than 90 usd.    I have no idea how procede, and there is no way of contacting Adobe for any help.    Please help me, I'm completely lost for words.    Best regards Steinar   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

The workaround for yellow PDF's isn't working (edit - preferences - use window color scheme). What else can I do? 

Hi All, We are currently upgrading to the latest version of adobe reader via SCCM.Ive made the usaul pacakge by patching the MSI file and deploying.Issue ive got is we unisntall the previous version to replace it with the new., t when doing this the unisntaller is getting stuck.The MSI log shows the following. It sits here until i kill the msi process manually and AcroCef_1 folder is the only folder left in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader" directory . Hi - Thank you kind people for all of the help you provide. I could use some of your help... Every time I start the app a window pops up with a prompt "Work with PDFs while browsing the web." See the screenshot. As far as I can tell it is not possible to dismiss this window and use the app. All of the controls in the pop-up are non-responsive- The X in the upper-right- The Continue Button- The Learn More link- The checkbox The Application won't quit - I have to use the Mac's Force Quit to use the app. I'm on Nac OS Catalina. I cannot tell what eversion of the app I'm using because the option to look that up is greyed out. I've uninstalled and re-installed the application. No change. (Installation file: AcroRdrDC_2001220041_MUI.dmg) Thanks for your help!

I am working on a clients server and the users RDP onto the server. When they open a PDF file, adobe acrobatic reader DC comes with an message which is now not letting them print or save, this happening the majority of the users. The server recently had a virus and I dont want to do anything major to it just in case the server goes down again.  What would be the best solution to get rid of this?
