Hello everyone, I have a new laptop and, strangely enough, after downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader I cannot activate the above-mentioned preview window in the Adobe Acrobat Reader settings. I have already uninstalled and reactivated the program several times and also checked for updates. The latest version 25.001.20432 is installed.Does anyone have any tips? It's really strange, on my old laptop I can simply check the box for the preview. On my new laptop this is simply not possible. Here are my laptop specifications:Microsoft Windows 11 HomeVersion 10.0.26100 Build 26100HP OmniBook X Laptop 14-fe0xxx Best regards!
I am using my Macbook Air, running OS Sequoia 15.3.2.. All of a sudden, My Adobe Reader will not load the data, only the forms. I can see the data in the preview thumbnail. It loads fine in a browser. It is from multiple companies (utility bills for example) and even old files. I tried using the uninstaller and reinstalling, it did not help. I tried even using the Adobe cleaner after the uninstall and it would not proceed as it did not see the software on my machine. So...here I am stuck. One thing to note, I used to have the full version with the ability to convert files from PDF to Excel or Word. I uninstalled that since I didn't renew the subscription and tried to install only the reader. Someone please help me if you can...This is frustrating.... thanks !!!!!

I bring up a PDF page and reading says Warning, empty page. What do I do?
Hello!I'm having an issue with some PDFs I'm generating and Adobe Reader. In particular, my PDFs look good in all apps I've tried (Chrome, Foxit, Firefox, Edge, Sumatra etc.), but in Adobe Reader all the rasterized (non vector) images in the PDF look awful, all pixelated and with ugly aliasing around the borders. Here is an example of what I mean: In this image you can see the same PDF file opened in Adobe (top), Chrome (bottom left) and Foxit (bootom right). As you can see, the shown image looks smooth and nice in Chrome/Foxit, but in Adobe it is all aliased and has an ugly black contour that is not present in the original PNG image. Can anyone tell me why this happens? And why it happens only in Adobe? Note that the PDFs are generated by Microsoft's Sql Server Reporting Services, if that's important.
I am a very basic user of .pdf's, by that I mean I don't generate documents. I only need a reader to open documents that people send to me. eg. Bills, tax returns, work chits/payslips, quotes, invoices, letters, statements etc. You name it, they all force you to use .pdf format to read their documents. The other day my PC stopped opening .pdfs, I double click on the icon and.... nothing happens. I have uninstalled and then resintalled the acrobat reader... and it still doesn't work. So I am now in an interesting position where I basically cannot do any work because I am relying on free software that doesn't offer a support function - there is no one to talk to to get it working again. So I'd appreciate any help/suggestions please. Thanks
I only need and have Acrobat Reader but everytime I open a PDF a pop up opens asking me if I want to:a. start free trial and pay later or buy immediatelyb. quit I don't need or want the fancy paid package.
Hello,I’m experiencing a recurring issue with Adobe Reader that is significantly affecting my workflow. I use dynamic PDF forms with interactive features (e.g., JavaScript-driven fields, drop-downs, and expandable sections). However, whenever there is a network disruption while the form is open, Adobe Reader unexpectedly converts the form into a flat PDF—stripping away all interactivity and rendering it uneditable. This behavior appears to happen without warning, and once flattened, the dynamic functionality is permanently lost. I’ve verified that this occurs across multiple workstations, with different versions of Adobe Reader DC, and even when the forms are hosted locally but accessed through shared network drives. Can you please provide:An explanation for why this flattening happens after a network interruption.A way to prevent dynamic forms from being automatically flattened in such events.Any recovery options or configurations (e.g., registry keys, preferences) that can help preserv
I want to know how to eliminate display of tool bars on the side of photos.

I've subscribed to Acrobat for years. Lately when I click on a PDF, it opens the Welcome page to Acrobat Reader with a list of previously opened files (not the one I clicked on), then I get a pop up to buy Acrobat Pro. How do I open the file I want, and why is this happening now? I'm using Windows 11. Thank you.
Hello, I asked for the trial of adobe reader pro for 7 days, on the seventh day I turned off the subscription because I did not need to use the program anymore. But you still charged me the cost of the subscription, although still in time to cancel it. Can I get a refund? thank you.

I always for years (since I can remember) rename a .pdf file in the Adobe version I was using, (which I can't remember which & how many versions. However, on my HP Windows 10 Laptop, I'm using Adobe Reader Touch & above that is Acrobat Reader DC. Then in my toolbar, next to the address bar on Google Chrome I have an Extension called just Acrobat Reader I believe (which is 100% totally useless) just like anything I try to use to open a file I have saved in 15 GB (free version) of Google Drive. But that's another story for another forum or Google if they would allow you to contact them. The question I'm here about and the problem also is: I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open all my .pdf files. Even though it's not in my "Start List" in Windows it says Open with... the above, every time I go to open a newly downloaded PDF or any .pdf file. My problem is: I used to be able to RENAME any & all .pdf files that I opened and now I can't find the option to "Re-Name" a file in any Ad

Hello Adobe Community,We currently have two enterprise applications from Adobe integrated into our Entra tenant:Adobe Acrobat Reader (AppID: cad2910c-3b55-4610-ba7e-dda581063c9)Adobe Acrobat (AppID: 97bd680b-f203-4917-a342-308a3de4094a)These applications utilize the Azure Active Directory Graph API, which is scheduled for retirement with its final functioning date being June 30, 2025. You can find more details in the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/migrate-azure-ad-graph-overview.These applications are crucial for labeling our PDFs with Microsoft Information Protection labels. I am reaching out to inquire if Adobe has any plans to transition from the Azure AD Graph API to the new Microsoft Graph API.
I have tried all methods listed and the issue persists. This does not affect all of my users but a handful of them. There are no previous versions of the software installed and protected mode is already disabled via group policy. I have tried re-enabling protected mode but this doesn't help either. I have found on the odd device that once a PDF has been opened with the 4 clicks once it can be opened as normal from there on. If anyone could provide a fix it would be much appreciated.
I have about 24 files ion the window when I open Acrobat. I would like to clear this window without deleting the actual files from their folders in my computer. There seems no way to do this.
Subject: Suspicious Password Reset Code from Unknown Local Number Dear Adobe Support Team, I am writing to report a suspicious incident that occurred during an attempt to reset my Adobe account password. When I requested a password reset, I opted to receive the verification code via SMS. However, the code I received came from an unusual local Tanzanian number: +255 794 325 645, and the format was "##301475#*#"*, which is not typical of Adobe communications. Despite this, I used the code and was able to log in, but I am now concerned about the security of my account and whether I may have been subject to phishing or SMS interception. Kindly assist me in: 1. Verifying if this code was legitimately sent by Adobe. 2. Confirming if there were any unusual login attempts or access to my account. 3. Advising on any further security steps I should take. I have since changed my password and enabled two-fac

when I try to export a PDF to word it shows "action in progress" and "uploading". however after 30 minutes its still going , waiting for it to convert. I have tried to convert several small PDF to word, but all have the same issue with time. if I try on https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/export-pdf it works.
I have an image I have added to multiple pdf documents. However, sometimes when I add the image (a jpg) it inserts but I cannot resize nor move it. I have to delete it. In other documents the same image has inserted and then been able to be moved and resized as expected. When it fails, the mouse cursor changes shape as I hover over corners/edges but nothing happens when I click to drag. Any ideas what is happening. At present I am wasting so much time and end up using another pdf editor.
In old versions of Adobe Acrobat reader if you did a search for a term or a word, all instances of that term/word were highlighted at the same time. IN the version that I unfortunately upgraded to, if you search for a term you only see one instance of it until you move forward. I want to be able to see all instances of a word at the same time - how do I do this? I seem to be using Acrobat Reader DC, if that is relevant
