Adobe has had a redistribution agreement for companies to redistribute Adobe Acrobat Reader to PCs.The only Volume redistribution agreement that I see Adobe presenting has a clause which limits the redistribution to general purpose PCs and not devices like DVD players, etc.We are neither general purpose PCs nor are we extermely purpose built devices like DVD players.Where can I get access to a redistribution agreemnt that allows for a device somewhere inbetween these 2 extremes?Regards,Andrew

I have installed Adobe Reader DC ver. 2021.001.20145, strangely and randomly when viewing pdf documents, some pages appear fine and others with illegible characters, these are letters without any meaning.
I am needing assistance with Adobe Acrobat DC. I have the application on my laptop but when I go to open it, it shows up on my web browser and won't let me edit my documents such as compiling documents together.
Came in to work today to another update and unexpectedly every time I attempt to email a PDF it asks me how to send it. Before this update it was a lot quicker to send PDFs as connections, I click the envelope symbol at the top and a little drop down menu-like choice showed up, clicked send as connection and standpoint opens. Presently evidently I need to tap the envelope symbol, head toward the side to click send as connection and snap proceed. This may sound minor, however when you're sending 20+ PDFs on a normal day it gets drawn-out. Any thought how to get Acrobat to quit asking me how I need to send my PDFs?
Acrobat reader won't let me sign in, every time I try I get an 'Access Denied' messgage. I am in a country that offers support so that can't be the problem established earlier on the forum.
Just last week I was able to print an .fdf file from websaver and all of a sudden, I am getting the "could not open because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged". I've tried deleting my cache, switching browsers from Chrome to Explorer and still receive the same message. What's going on and how do I fix it?
Background:I often have to digitally sign PDF documents, using the certificate-based signature. It is the standart of e-signatures, developed by our goverenment, which is used for identification. It works by putting the national ID document provided by government into the USB smart-card reader, which activates certificates. Then it is possible to digitally sign documents and use government services online while the card is in the reader. The Guidelines provided by government advise to use a third-party software to sign the PDF documents, or to download a certain Adobe Acrobat Reader from government server (which I believe is modified tweaked version, so I prefer to not install it). However, I've been using normal Acrobat Reader to put the singatures, and it worked totally perfect at first. After you select the certificate and put the signature, Acrobat Reader asks to save a new file, then this software (CryptoCard Monitor), which is given by government and is associated with
It only affects Adobe, so can you guys provide a solution to this annoying issue? Microsoft has had this complaint logged on numerous websites and blogs for years, and it still is an issue! Can you help? Thanks!

I created a form with some user-inputed text fields. Then, I created duplicates of those text fields, because I want one set to be user-inputed (I set this field to have a gray field and the font to courier) and the "output" to be the second set of fields, where I have maniuplated that set to have special prefixes (simple java scripts) and fonts. It all works perfectly except for one thing: I want the second set of fields to be read-only. I haven't been able to separate this restriction: either they are both read-only, or not. Is there a work around?
I'm having a problem when having no internet connect is available the auto-complete starts working again. We have sensitive documents to complete at home locations where no internet is accessable.Even when the form preferences is set to Auto-complete 'Off' and on the documentcloud.adobe.com the Auto-suggestion is off, but obviously with no internet connection adobe isn't connected to the cloud settings. Any ideas!
Hello, I know very well Adobe Sign complies with the EU regulation regarding basic electronical signatures. My question is, "Fill and Sign" feature instead is legally binding as an electronic signature? Or as I think it's just a drawing of my signature and has no legal effect on a document as model/liability forms since it lacks identification/security/integrity/immutability? Thank you
I get the following error when trying to request signatures in Acrobat Pro DC: An error has occured. Please try again.Request must be made to correct API access point (e.g. use GET /baseUris). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can someone please tell me where I can download it now the site's been redesigned? Preferably a version that's compatible with v20 / v21 Thank you!
Some days ago, my AR dosen't start. The Update Service is running, but no AR window come up. The Browser Plug in works. Any ideas what I can check. Thx for a short replay. Markus
Until recently I could easily print any pdf from Acrobat Reader to my wireless Brother printer. Now, even though I explicitly select the printer, Acrobat asks where I want to save a .prn file, and the doc doesn't print. I don't care about a prn file; I simply want the doc to print, just as it used to. So far I can find no setting or option to fix this issue and restore normal printing. No problems printing Word, Excel, or any other application, only Acrobat pdf; and my wife's PC prints pdfs from Acrobat to the same printer. We are a Window 10 household with a Verizon FiOS WiFi LAN. Can anyone enlighten me on this matter?
usually I print coupons from smart source and we saver and a few other sites. Now it will no longer let me saying that I have attempted to print too many times to an invalid printer and I have to contact support. Usually I have no issues, the coupon PDFs always open and ask if I want to begin printing. I'm starting to get extremely frustrated at this application and my printer as it says it's offline but I can print from my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I wish there were more like it to use so I didn't have to struggle with this one. The issue is JavaScript and my printer not working together like they always do... Please help!
I want to add a couple of new folders to what I refer to as the places bar which is the left hand column of the pop-up when one selects file open from the home page.
Came in to work today to a new update and suddenly every time i try to email a PDF it asks me how to send it. Before this update it was much faster to send PDFs as attachments, i clicked the envelope icon at the top and a little drop down menu-like option appeared, clicked send as attachment and outlook opens. Now apparently i have to click the envelope icon, go over to the side to click send as attachment and click continue. This may sound trivial, but when you're sending 20+ PDFs on an average day it gets tedious. Any idea how to get Acrobat to stop asking me how I want to send my PDFs?
Hello,We are a developer that relies upon being able to extract text from printed PDFs, via the Windows Enhanced Metafile format using our printer driver. We have noticed that printing from current versions of Acrobat Reader is problematic in this regard when the PDF document contains embedded fonts. In many cases, text output from the PDF document is represented as glyph indices rather than characters. We have developed a system for converting glyph indices back into appropriately encoded text characters (Unicode). Our application also handles the embedded temporary font files that Acrobat Reader creates when printing and uses them to help decode the glyphs accordingly.Attached are some examples of embedded fonts that have been extracted, via printing a sample PDF from Adobe Reader DC v2021.001.20145. These fonts are missing appropriate character encoding indices in the Character to Glyph Index Mapping Table (cmap), typically located in the font header. This instead contains a linear s
