Acrobat Reader

Moin,ich suche nach einem Offline-Installer für die 64bit Version des Acrobat Reader. Unter /enterprise bekomme ich nur die Pro-Version und der downloadbare Installer ist ein Online-Installer. Größe: 1,6Kb. Wir müssen den Reader aber mit ZENworks verteilen, so dass wir eine vollständige Installationsdatei benötigen. Bevorzugt als msi - exe ginge auch.Der Tel. Support meint, so was gebe es nicht für 64bit. Das ist allerdings sehr schwer vorstellbar. Wie soll der Reader sonst in einem Unternehmen verteilt werden?Danke für jede AntwortUllrich

Hallo, seit zwei, drei Jahren funktioniert mein Acrobat Reader bestens. Seit drei Tagen kann ich plötzlich keine Dateien mehr zusammenführen: Es erscheint die Meldung: "Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Wir bitten um ihr Verständnis. Versuchen Sie es später erneut" (siehe angehängten Screenshot). Was ist da los? Wie kann ich den Reader in vollem Umfang wieder nutzen?Viele GrüßeThomas P.

Hello, I currently have a fillable form contract that I was able to create with this software with help from all of you as well.  I thought I had it perfected but I was mistaken.  I am now encountering issues where the boxes checked are not showing up as checked when I use the request e signatures function or worse.  Say it's a required check box part of a set where you can only choose 1, when you send it for esignature the checked box is blacked out and one of the remaining boxes that were unchecked are now listed as a required field to be checked along with the signature when sent to the client.  Furthermore, the original checked box does not appear as checked on the document when sent or printed.  Also, any optional check boxes do not show up as checked either.  I have included a copy of the contract for you to peruse and pictures of what the user receives when sending out for e-signatures. When I try to open a PDF, Acrobat opens but does not display a window. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same issue. It shows up in the menu at the top so I know it's open and I can print the pdf I opened... just can see the actual document, which is very frustrating for me. Any idea what I can do?

I need the reader on a new PC and seems you all want me to install a cloud version, we don't want your crap Adobe.Where can I find a plain reader without the cloud crap?

I have saved a adobe PDF file in my computer, but when I open the file Explorer it say the your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document. However, the form just open fine with Adobe reader. I'm not sure if I upload the file to the specific location will it open with actual content or will it give the same error. Because it's an important form

Hi, in Adobe Acrobat Reader there is a message bar across the top of my screen saying "this file claims compliance with the PDF/A standard and has been opened read-only to prevent modification". But there's no close button on the bar. How do I dismiss it?  This app is already wasting so much screen space with the title text, then a menu bar, then another tab bar, then ANOTHER menu bar, then this message too. It's ridiculous.

Hello,      I have tried several times now to install Adobe Acrobat Reader directly from their website and it tells me on the download client that "you have a newer version already installed" then a webpage pops up and tells me the download or install failed. I can indeed confirm that I do not already have this program installed and that is a fact. I then ran AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021 to clean it off, restarted and tried again just to be met with the same problem. I need this program to put some signatures on some important docs. Please help!

I was very surprised when visiting a medical facility in Croatia, the submission clerk asked me for some test results, which I did not have in printed format. I asked if I could mail them, so from my phone, I sent the PDF file to his email. He opened the file with Acrobat Reader, and then complained he could not print it!?  At home, I checked his claim: On the Adobe Reader screen, there is a box of Adobe Acrobat functions on one side, and on the other, adding comments. There were some zoom in/out keys and  next page keys but NO PRINT function. There was a three dots function that gave access to the print function!We are talking about using Acrobat Reader to open, zoom in/out , next page, print and close. These functions were always accessible on every version of Acrobat Reader till now. I beg for an explanation.I have screenshots I can include.

Hi all,I have searched far and wide, still can't figure out nor find any solution to disabling FIPS mode. Any documents that are configured to use digital signatures for us error out when signing with the following error:"The document could not be saved. Use of non FIPS cryptography is not permitted while in FIPS mode." Then states document couldn't be signed obviously.Anyone find a solution to this? I tried the bFIPSMode=0 manual HKCU entry that doesn't do anything. I also disabled protected mode. This instance of Adobe DC is on Windows 10.Thanks for any help!

I need to read documents in full window view - without the right sidebar.I can go to View and set Read Mode on, but I would prefer not to do that with every document I open.So how do I set it to normally open in Read Mode?

I am very upset to learn I have to pay a cancellation fee for more than I would have to pay for using months of the service. I tried to cancel the subscription within the 14 day trial window and was prompted to remain in the subscription for a discount, the product doesn't work well. For the discounted rate I thought I'd remain in the subscription and hope the issues would be sorted accordingly (new AI program so I thought it may be just sorting final bugs out) The product still doesn't work well so I decided to cancel it again. If it worked I would keep the program and happily pay the monthly fee but it doesn't and I do not want to pay to cancel a subscription for a product that does not work.  How can this situation be remedied? 

Goodday!Since a couple of days i daily get the following error message in adobe reader.Sometimes even when i haven't opened adobe reader yet.I can click a couple of times on OK en the error message will disappear. But it is very annoying. i have tried re-installing Adobe reader, turning off page caching, turning sandbox protections off. Is there a known issue with adobe reader?We are using the following version:When i check the event log of the computer i see the following:Application popup: Font Capture: Acrobat.exe - Toepassingsfout : De instructie op 0x000000006DD8AFF4 verwijst naar geheugen op 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. I have a user experiencing a odd problem. They have Adobe Acrobat (the free version) & are using fill-in forms. The forms work fine on other computers. Recently after their latest OS (Win 10) & application updates, they started having this problem. When they click on any field in the form (any fill-in form), it opens. But as soon as they click into a field, the form crashes. They get the standard "Acrobat quit unexpectedly. Click 'Learn more' for possible fixes." message. However, when they open Acrobat directly, then go to File & open the pdf that way, the problem does not occur. This happens regardless of who is logged into the computer, so it isn't user or profile dependent. I've uninstall all of the OS updates (that were un-installable) that happened right before the problem started occurring. I've completely uninstalled acrobat, ran the cleaner tool, then reinstalled after downloading the latest version. I've unchecked the preview checkbox

Hallo,ich habe eine PDF-Datei, welche ich gern ausdrucken möchte. Sie muss genau in der Größe ausgedruckt werden, wie sie ist. Es ist extra ein Feld 5x5cm darauf abgebildet, damit man dieses ausmessen kann. Nun stelle ich beim Drucken "tatsächliche Größe" ein und es ist trotzdem nur 4,8 cm groß. Über einen anderen Rechner mit gleichem Drucker funktioniert es. Woran kann es liegen bzw. was muss ich einstellen?Ich arbeite bei beiden PC's mit der kostenlosen Version des Acrobat Readers.Vielen Dank.

Hi.Ich habe überall alle Einstellungen richtig stehen und die aktuellste Version von Chrome installiert. Leider werden PDF nur noch im System Viewer angezeigt, jedoch nicht in der Erweiterung von Acrobat Reader. Eine Neuinstallation der Erweiterung hat keine Änderung hervorgebracht.Kann jemand helfen?Danke.

Issue Description:The only hyperlink in my PDF resume, which goes to my LinkedIn page, does not work. I have an "email link" elsewhere in the document, it works correctly. I do notice that when I mouse-over the hyperlink, I only see a "edit text cursor." Hello,I have a rather very simple question. I'm opening this topic because I couldn't get an answer either here on the forums or via Google.All I want to know is the exact location where Adobe caches the recently opened files & locations. I've already checked in the regular Local and Roaming folders in the user profile but couldn't find any. As a test, I tried deleting the contents of the said folders and replacing them one at a time to pinpoint the recent files cache but failed. Although the settings and preferences are preserved upon putting them back the recent files tab stays empty.So, is it a case of Adobe caching them outside of the user profile folders like somewhere in the registry or elsewhere. If this is indeed accessible to us users I would like to know where so that I could keep a backup for future use.Any advice is appreciated

Every time I download a pdf from anywhere - government site, friend's email, wherever, once the pdf is downloaded and I go to open it there is a box that pops up saying I need to install a "font package".It's extremely annoying - it's every single PDF.  It's not a third party site that I'm directed to, it's coming from Adobe.Out of frustration I finally clicked on the install link and it turns out is some sort of Asian font package - and even after installing it I keep getting the pop-up box for the font package whenever I go to open a downloaded PDF.It happens on my laptop and desktop with two different versions of Windows.Anyone know how to get it to stop the pop-up for the Font Package?????Thank you.
