I have been using Acrobat Reader for a long time. Today, I paid for and used Adobe Acrobat Export PDF. Now when I try to use Acrobat to read a PDF, I get a window "Start your free trial of Adobe Acrobat." If I don't select Buy Now or Start free trail, Acrobat reader closes. When I tried to cancel Export PDF, it said that my Adobe Portfolio would be deactivated. I have a paid subscription to the Photography plan (20GB) which includes Portfolio. What is going on? I just want to read PDFs without affecting my Photography Plan functionality, including Portfolio. I can do without Export to PDF.Alan Hunt

Every time i try to open adobe reader nothing seems to happen. When i open the taskmaster/Job list, Adobe has opened two jobs in the background, but i can't open any documents via the program. I can open the documents via a browser, however, I have a lot of PDF's that are saved in another program, and i can't open those documents through a browser, they need to have the program indstalled. I have tried uninstalling the program and installed the newest version. I have tried repairing the program. Nothing works. I have another computer that runs all of the same programs and versions, and on that computer adobe works with no issues. Sometimes when restart the computer, I can open a document, but then it sort of crashes again, and i can't open anything.
I have a logo created in illustrator that has two lowercase l's. The logo is placed in Indesign and then a PDF is created. The "l" look different than the other letters on the PDF, sometimes thicker or thinner depending on what percentage it is viewed. When you zoom in, they look fine. I tried to make the paths a compound path which was a suggested fix. This worked inconsistently. I also read that you can set your viewing preference in acrobat to have enhanced viewing. This wont work because I do not control how every user views the PDF. Any other ideas on how to fix this?
There must be a one or two click way to change the colour / color of the highlighting?Using Mac.Read forum post about this, can't find an answer.
We are in the process of implementing Wacom's STU-540 signature platforms. However, the tests revealed that Acrobat Reader does not open files that are signed with Wacom's certificate at all but the file opens correctly with all other applications. When opening the file with Acrobat Reader, it does not show the content of the file at all, only the signature section is visible on the pages, otherwise the pages are empty. Also, it displays the error message shown below. An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem. Is there any way to get this to work with Acrobat Reader or do we have to find another way to sign documents?
Can’t find the “layers” icon. It is missing on the icons on the left of the screen on both my iPad and my windows desktop computer
Hello, where can I download the 64-bit offline installer for Acrobat Reader? On the Enterprise website, when selecting a non-MUI version, only the 32-bit version is offered - the 32/64 option is only available for the MUI version. Thanks and regards, Martin
I was using Acrobat Reader to view and comment on a couple PDFs which are located in my Google Drive for Desktop. After closing my laptop, walking to a different location (on the same Wi-Fi network), and upon opening it back up again, I was presented with a "Bytes not ready." error pop-up in Acrobat Reader. When clicking "OK," the pop-up always reappears after a length of time ranging from immediately to around five seconds. I know I could probably fix this by force-quitting and reinstalling Reader, but I would just like to know why this might be happening, and how to avoid it in future.
The adobe upgrade will not install. The message "Upgrade status - installing. Thanks for your patience."Any suggestsions on how to fix?
Hello, I've been sent here from tech support. Last wednesday I noticed my Adobe Acrobat Reader Free Version was not opening PDFs. I've uninstallled and reinstalled several times. I've done a repair. I've chaged it to administrator mode and nothing. In admin mode it comes up with the 'do you want this application to make changes...'. Both yes and no does nothing. You click a PDF and nothing. It appears in Task Manager as Adobe Acrobat (2) and if you keep clicking new ones show up. Eventually a pop up appears saying there is a running error and a click here option with further fix options. None of these work. I found my business partner has had the same issue this week. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly apprecited. Thanks

Dear Adobe,You added AI to Reader, yet there is no copy all feature? Let me tell you, I'm trying to share some information with Gemini, and I'm stuck with your Adobe Reader mobile app. You know why?Because there's no "copy all" button. I have to manually drag and select text like I'm back in the Stone Age. It's ridiculous, especially when I'm dealing with long documents. This is incredibly time-consuming, especially for longer documents. Imagine having to copy and paste 30 pages individually! It's simply not practical. You know, it wouldn't kill you to add a simple "copy all" button. It's not rocket science. Just a suggestion...
Startng 2-3 weeks ago when I open a pdf half if it is obscured by a rectangle babbling about now you can highlight. How do i get rid of that thing? thank you.

When exporting a document to JPEG it is only giving me the option to save the file to a ZIP. I assume this has something to do with my computer settings because the last setup I had did not have this issue. Can someone explain why it wants to take JPEG's to ZIP when trying to export us Acrobat.
As of the last 1-2 weeks, users are reporting they cannot open PDFs. I will go to their machine and test to confirm that indeed, PDFs/Acrobat won't open. If I then open task manager, I can see several instances of Adobe Acrobat running in the background. If I end all those tasks, then open a PDF, Acrobat will open without issue. Not sure if this is a bug caused by the latest update, but it seems to be fairly widespread among my users. Any help would be appreciated.
After updated Adobe Reader DC, I can no longer use the SAVE AS function to save a pdf. I'm not having this issue with any other document in excel or word, it is only when I'm trying to SAVE AS from a pdf.I uninstalled the Adobe program and then reinstalled it, but that didn't work. I use the SAVE AS function constantlyas a way to rename and place the doc in the appropriate folder on my laptop. Please help!
