Acrobat Reader

Hello! Currentry stuck with this issue - I can't change digital sign font type. By default digital sign font - Myriad Pro. But with that font type some special symbols that my name has can't be displayed, because Myriad Pro doesn't support them. Where is the option to change digital sign font type?

Plugins button on sidebar menu is greyed out. Program is up to date (24.002.20991) 

anytime i try to open any pdf to read it, i get a window pop-up message stating I must buy adobe pdf or try it for free. When I click no, or the X to close out the window, ithe program automatically closes the pdf i'm trying to read! I've uninstalled/reinstalled pdf reader, but to no avail. I've tried every trick in the book to override the program but nothing works. Please help because I have a ton of pdf's i must read for work and I dont have access!

I saved MS Word docs a Adobe PDF for many years without having any paid Adobe subscription.  15 months ago I took out an Acrobat Pro subscription, but recently (because of under-use) I switched over to Audition.  Now I can no longer use the Save as PDF function in Word (Desktop version 10).  It seems that removing my Pro privileges also removed a feature that had been available to me for previous years.  How can I get this functionality reinstated?

I have just spent several hours highlighting, underlining, and adding sticky notes to a PDF document on my laptop. I continually saved using the function at the bottom of the screen. Then I closed the document and when I attempt to reopen it, it says "The file cannot be opened because it is not a valid PDF document." My computer does say it is a PDF document in the file location and I didn't modify the document beyond saving it. I can open the document in Google Chrome, but it only has the edits on the first two pages, not the entire (much longer) document. Despite this, it does show that the file was last modified at the time I made the last save.   Support recommended that I uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader Touch, which I have done. Any help to get these document edits back would be much appreciated.   [Title Edited by Moderator]

Hello,   I have a tax document that I user password protected.  DOH!  I forgot the password....  Is there a way to print or view the document, workaround?  Does Adobe provide a service? Martin Kuester  

Hello, I am trying to download Adobe Acrobat Reader on quite literally any browser on my Mac computer. Every time I click to install the program a message pops up saying "Only a single copy of the installer can run at a time. Please close the other window and try again." Why is this message popping up, and how can I successfully download Reader? I have no other windows or installers open, so I have no idea what is going on. Of course when I called Adobe to get help they told me nobody is trained to solve issues like this, which is absolutely ridiculous. I need this application for work and am beyond annoyed that it will not function nor that anyone seems to be willing to help. I would appreciate immediate assistance.

When I try to convert to Word, it converts fine but then when I try to save it , it says "The network or path where you are trying to save this document is unavailable, what do you want to do?". Why is this happening and what is the solution?

Hello,My version of Adobe Acrobat Reader was recently updated, and now the highlighting tool acts more as a "pen" or doodle" tool that only locks onto lines of text and conforms to them as a straight line if the line I draw is very close to a straight line. Does anyone know if there is a way to highlight text so that it snaps to the lines of text neatly every time? I am finding it difficult to highlight the text I need to with the new free-form line drawing version of the highlighting tool. Thank you for anyone who may have an solution.Patrick

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release 2024.002.20857 64 bit.I have tried to change the following preferences:- Page display > Page layout > Single page continuous- Accessibility > Always use page style > Single page continuousbut still, everytime I open a new PDF the scrolling/continuous view is not there.The only preference that works is the following:- Documents > Restore last view settings when reopening documentsbut this of course works only for PDFs that have been opened already and where I've enabled the scrolling manually.

How do I move the "Convert PDF to...." Menu from the left side to the right side? How do I completely remove the "edit" "select text" menu, "comments" menu and "page number" menus completely from the app?

The question "how to show the hidden tool bar" says I should use the f9 key, and that works to hide then unhide but some pages load with the tool bar hidden, then that does not work. It seems that Acrobat Reader XI does not know where the top of the screen is because f9 makes the page jump up (atached image).

We are using Nexcopy's Lock License drives to distribute our PDF documents. The drive is hardware locked to be read only. Until quite recently, this worked fine. After the last update to Reader (2022.003.20282), attempting to open pdf files gives an error that the file is corrupted. I can unlock the drive and the same pdf file opens properly. I tried this with both PDF and PDF/A files, which should be read only opened by default. Neither worked.  I also tried this using another vendor's hardware locked thumb drive and had the same results.  

Tooltips have been added to a newly created to the Adobe form that work well when I save the form to a group drive, but the tooltips no longer appear once the file is uploaded to our learning management system. Ideally, it would be great for everyone to see these tips as they download the doc from our LMS library. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! 

Hola, como puedo firmar con un certificado digital (idcat, dni electroncio...) osea un certificado emitido por la Generalitat de Cataluña en caso de idcat o dni electronico por el gobierno de españa u cualquier otro certificado valido desde un iPhone? Me instalo adobe pero no sale la opcion... y desde un dispositivo con sistema operativo chromeOS igual. Nomas me deja firmar con mi firma pero no la del certificado digital todo y que tengo instalado el certificado. En cambio desde un Windows si que deja firmar utilizando un certificado.Gracias

Queria solicitar la devolución del pago realizado por que no se instala acrobat pro. Podrian indicarme los pasos a seguir?

After getting a new Certificate from the Spanish Government, I am unable to sign using Adobe Actobat1. When going to Tools -> Certificates ->  It asks me to Create Digital ID2. I create it based on a Personal Information Exchange (.p12) file on my desktop3. Nothing happens there when I click Sign the entire process starts again What have I tried?1. Creating the Digital IR without the "modern interface" -> In fact when I tried to create it, it says the Digital ID is not valid, however I am trying to create a Certificate based on a document2. Uninstall and Install Adobe Reader twice3. Update Adobe Reader (Currently version 22.003.20282)4. Hello,everything worked fine until now but with the latest update of acrobat reader I have a problem with some characters. it doesn't matter which pdf document i use. if I insert text into it via "fill and sign" and it contains certain characters, in the case of a local installation of acrobat reader, they are displayed after saving and reopening the square. if I do the same in online acrobat reader, after opening the document there is nothing, not even a square. at the same time, why does acrobat reader on a computer (local installation) change the font after writing certain characters? the online version always uses the same font. Please how to solve this?

Is there a way  to save multiple documents opened with Acrobat pro on an specific folder?  I need this  for someone else to view the  downloaded documents from SAPThanks in advance
