good day, i have been having this issue lately with acrobat reader. i am running qb and reader on windows server 2022. all users on my server run smoothely except me. please help. [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
Hello. I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Reader where pages are printing doulbe-sided by default. This is on a Windows 10 PC. I have verified the print settings on the printer are set to print single-sided. Only in Adobe Reader does it seem to print double-sided. I can manually uncheck the box to print double sided, but then after 1-3 print jobs, the default switches back.. I should not need to keep having to un-check the box manually. How do I change the adobe reader default print setting to print single-sided?
Many of my users are having problems opening pdf files intermittently. I ran a repair on the adobe program, but that does not seem to have solved the problem. Anyone else having the same issue? Is a removal of adobe acrobat and reinstalling the next best solution?
Issue in the past couple weeks, PDFs wont open reliably in adobe. Sometimes won't open at all and sometimes working fine. Seen across 4-5 users so far, latest adobe from microsoft store. Anyone else?

I have been using windows 10 os for a long time and Adobe have been great with upgrades but now..... Why do I need to purchase Windows 11 to activate many new programs. As my PC is a few years old it is not suitable for Windows 11 and your new Photoshop Beta 25.10 will not run I have to downgrade to Beta 25.8Is it a case where I need to totally upgrade my laptop , yes laptop, or abandon Adobe products. When I try to highlight a word or phrase to leave a comment, the highlight shows up for a split second, then disappears and there's no comment box to leave a note. It was working fine yesterday. I did install a Windows update today, no idea if that had anything to do with it. But any help much appreciated.

Downloaded and installed acrobat reader. All pdf files open just fine, but when closing the file, I get an error message "acrobat reader has stopped working".Rebooted computer but still get error every time closing a pdf file. All features apper to work, as I can open and view the document, save it, print it, etc. Only problem is annoying error popup every time closing the document. Uninstalled and re-downloaded/re-installed acrobat reader - rebooted computer - same issue. Any suggestions how to fix this?
Hello,Is it possible to change vertical scrolling speed in Acrobat Reader DC?My default mouse wheel scroll speed is 3 lines per click and in all the other apps is very adequate. In Reader it does scroll like one third of the line and I need so scroll a lot to get one paragraph down. Makes the Reader very difficult to use.This is happening on the 4K monitor and 200% windows scaling. W10, i7 8th gen. Read and tried a number of published articles - like making default continuous scrolling does not help. Will highly appreciate any suggestions - thank you!

Can anyone show me how to stop this from happening? I want the PDF's to open as stand-alone file, through Acrobat Reader. I'm using Windows 11. I just downloaded the latest, free version of Acrobat Reader. But it will only open PDF's files in the Edge browser. I've done many google searches seeking an solution. But every answer I found gave instructions that didn't work on my browsers (including Edge) or on Acrobat Reader. Thanks in advance for any answers.

I am trying to permantly close the All Tools Pane.When I click on "Prefrences" and then click on "documents" the "Allow documents to hide the menu bar, toolbars and windows control" is greyed out and I can not click on it.How do I keep the the All Tools pane closed as it takes up 1/3rd of my screen every time I open a PDF.
Hi !When I have an email (for example) with 10 pdf files and I try to print I only can print the email and two pdf files. The remain pdf files gives the error "There was an error openig this document". This file cannot be found.If I put all pdf files on a folder and try to print all of them from the folder no problem !What is the solution ? I tried several:- Disable enhanced security;- on the registry: -Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\Attachments\ FileTrackIdle - put the value 5000- reinstalled Acrobat Reader DC. nothing solves the problem ! I customize the buttons I want on the Comments Toolbar using "Customize Comments Tools" but everytime I re-open Adobe, it has reset to the default buttons. Then I have to go back and re-select all the buttons I want again. It's the same with the main toolbar on the right. I add the Certificates Tool to this toolbar but it disappears everytime I close Adobe & then I have to redo it again.I can't do this every day. Is there someone that can help me with this please.

This is third installment of my requests concerning the development of Acrobat's new interface, which I'm hoping will be 'upvoted' as the other two have been. What I hope to do here is to provide a concrete example of the problem that I hope this new interface will solve for me. It concerns a book I have nearly finished (600 pages in four volumes) about a hearing child of deaf parents whose learning of English provides important evidence as to the structure of deaf sign languages, specifically American Sign Language (ASL), used by deaf people in the USA. To convince fellow linguists of the points that it makes, it has been necessary to provide many hundreds (at least 1,000) examples of his spoken sentences as a child, and of his own ASL versions as an adult of those same sentences. Buenos dias, escribo desde departamento tecnico de empresa, tengo la siguiente duda. Yo distingo un pdf/a de un pdf normal por que cuendo lo abro con adobe reader me pone que se requiere el standar pdf/a y en informacion me porne que es compatible con la conformidad pdf/a 3A por ejemplo , sin embargo hay profesionales que meenvian pdf/a que no se los validan las webs. Eso por que puede ser ? adjunto ejmplo de pdf/a que valida bien y ejemplo de pdf/a que no pasa la validacion.
I received a digitally signed file in Jan 2024 and found that all signatures were valid with LTV enabled in them. However, when I opened the same file in April 2024 - the signatures were valid with LTV enabled (functionality wise). BUT when I show details in signature details panel it was showing "LTV is not enabled" message on RHS panel. Can anyone help me with solving this query?
