Acrobat SDK

Problem with Win 10.  I have tried to set my default to AA Pro 7.0. It shows that icon but won't actually accept 7.0 as the default. Sometimes 7.0 is used and sometimes I can only get Reader DC. There is no pattern to this. I just filled in a government form online and it was in Pro and I was able to print from it.  Yet when I go to some of my own docs stored on my PC I am forced into Reader PC. I can't have any control over which product is used .How can I keep Pro 7.0 as my default?  Thanks.

I am attempting to mail merge names into a document to create individual certificates, and then email those certificates to each individual, all through the PDFMaker addin in Word (sending the emails through Outlook).  This worked fine for me until a couple of weeks ago.  Now, every time I try it works for the very first entry, but I then get an error message (see image below) which repeats for each additional entry.  I have this issue on multiple computers. I am unable to reinstall Adobe Acrobat XI Standard on my Windows 10 computer.  I get the following message: "The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Acrobat XI could be completely installed.  Your system has not been modified.  To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."  WilI someone help me?

hi!I uploaded a pdf file to a website as attachment.After the file is uploaded completely and now if i click on the hyperlink of the uploaded file to check if the user is able to view it successfully i get an error and the error reads " An error exists on this page.Acrobat may not display the page correctly.Please contact the personwho created the pdf document to correct the problem".I had actually scanned the document and saved it as pdf.It was working fine and all of a sudden the file does not open  after it is uploaded and when i try to view the file it gives me this error.The person who created the file was me.It was working for all this while and now it seems to have stopped working.I am using 2015 release version 2015.017.20050.Help would be highly appreciated.Thanks and regards Mahesh[Moved from the non-support, general, all-of-Adobe forums Lounge to a more product-specific support forum - Mod]

I am having an issues with my adobe acrobat as it has stopped working and my serial number isn't working as it worked before. please help

I have a new work computer and have pdf's of custom stamp symbols that we use to mark up maps.  Since our upgrade from Acrobat 12 to Acrobat DC, I have not been able to see or use the stamps from these pdf's.I do have the stamp files located in the C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Stamps directory.  I searched the forums and confirmed that this is the correct directory.It used to be that I would see the name of the particular pdf as a directory - say Fiber -- then when I would go to stamps -> Fiber I would see all of my stamp images.  Now I do not see them at all.  I tried to do the import, but that is 1 symbol at a time and will take forever.Any help that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.  We have multiple users that are doing other work arounds until we can figure this out.Thanks!

I have Adobe Acrobat X1 ProI need help creating an Action Wizard for the following scenario:I have a PDF document of text.  There are portions of text highlighted on several of the pages.Action Wizard needed:Search all PDF pages for highlighted text and extract only those pages.Extract Page 1 of the PDF document, too (even though it has no highlighting on it).Combine all extracted pages, with Page 1 as the first page of the combined PDF.Can anyone help me with this?I thank you in advance for your assistance and expertise!

Hi All,One of our users has Adobe Acrobat XI Standard (Windows 7 Enterprise x64) and when she opens a document she can save as PDF (I think this is an office feature rather than Adobe as all our users have the same facility) however when she tries to right click on any document (Even one she has successfully converted by opening and save as) she gets the following error.

How do I reset the DEFAULT font (helvitca auto is too small) when creating a pdf form using the Create wizard?

Hello,Tried to use the Prepare Form function to convert a .pdf (actually only an image), that was emailed to me, into an editable form. Original doc is legal size, so had to rotate it. After rotating it, I selected Prepare Form. See image for results.Anybody have any ideas? Cheers,--Patricia

Hi Everyone,We have a document template where we input the document title in the title sheet and then use styles to create auto-text (quick parts) references in the headers and footers. Everything works great in Word, the auto-text updates automatically to match changes to the title sheet, etc. However when we convert the document to PDF using Acrobat a mysterious "0B" is added in front of the first instance of the automatic text reference. We are using Acrobat CC with Word 2010 and using the MS Office Acrobat Add-in to convert (we use other resources I can't get via "save as PDF" or "Print to PDF")? The conversion setting is Press Quality with Bookmarks and Links.You can see the before and after in the screen shots below. The conversion error is circled in red in the PDF version.Any help finding a work around that error would be appreciated.Thanks!

I have acrobat 8 and have used it many times on my computer but not when I open it as soon as I start to do something the program closes and says my program is not activated.  I am not able to activate it what do I need to do?

Hello, I have a 25.000 page file (PDF), I would hide a date on each page, how can I do automatically? I have Adobe Acrobat DC

I am trying to get a text field to automatically populate when the form is digitally signed. The text field is an expiry date which needs to show the date 10 years less one day from time of signing. For example, if the form was signed today the Expiry Date text field should show August 31, 2026. I keep getting the following message: instruction at 0x000000007731A32C reference memory at 0x0000000000000014 memory could not be read, click here to terminate.I ran SFC/scannow, no integrity violations, ran Virus scan (full) with windows defender. I get this message only when I have ADOBE DC opened. I contacted ADOBE tech support, they have been on my computer 3 times, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe, and still same issue. I have a Dell Precision laptop 7710 model, with Windows7-64pro.The computer has a preinstalled full version of Acrobat DC, which worked perfectly until yesterday.I have also recently installed Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Lightroom). I Had, after installing it, also "activated" using the CC menu, even Acrobat DC. Today I accidentally uninstalled Acroba DC always through CC menu.From that moment on, I was not able to open pdf files.I uninstalled and installed the program several times, using the app "Dell Digital Delivery", which is available for this type of operation on Dell PCs. But no, the pdf file will not open. I also uninstalled Adobe Reader!From within the program, you can print to PDF and save the file you get. But then you can not open it!Help !!!!!thanks

When I'm creating Adobe PDF.pc3 - plot in AutoCAD LT 2011 I'm getting error message on notepad:%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%%%[ Error: invalidfileaccess; OffendingCommand: showpage ]%%%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%Earlier plotting in PDF on my PC was OK. The above happens recently.  I reloaded my Adobe Acrobat X Pro including updates few times even using AdobeAcro Cleaner and also I reloaded my AutoCad LT 2011 program, but I'm getting the same Error message. I checked with Autodesk and they told me the problem is with my Adobe Acrobat X Pro installation. I think something is missing. I'm using the same programs and same operation system on my laptop and have no problem with printing in PDF.On my PC and Laptop  I'm using Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 and all other programs on my computer are working OK.Please helpLeszek Majewski

In Acrobat DC I understand that the shape tools are located in the comments section.Is there a way to make these "shape comments" actual drawing objects. I am experiencinga problem where the shapes are selectable after form distribution, I would like to makeun-selectable. Any input would help, Thanks
