My company uses Adobe Sign to have clients sign legal agreements. The process is:1. The Sales Rep click on the link to generate an ADobe Sign link to send to the client2. The Sales Rep then copies and emails the link to the client3. The client fills out the PDF and e-signs it4. The compliance department is notified of the signature. What I would like the Sales Rep to be able to do is: When the link is generated, the Sales Rep is able to fill out most of the available client information, save those changes to the PDF, and then send the link to the client to fill out the information required that the Sales Rep does not know and the client e-sign the document. Is this possible when using Adobe Sign and the link that is generated? If yes, is there a tutorial out there or a process that needs to be done? When at a previous company where I worked, they used DocuSign, and the Sales Rep was able to fill in the information, send the document, and the client could fill in missing infor
Hello community, I am getting an error mentioned above when trying to sign a document on Acrobat Sign on iPad. Can somebody help me with this one? Appreciate it. Daniel
Hi, I'm embedding the signing URL in a web view/iframe in my app. I'm wondering if there's any way to protect the signing URL from being opened by an unauthorized person. For example, can I pass a token to the URL or header? I don't want to use the AuthenticationMethod as it requires an additional step from users since they already authenticate through my app. Is there any way to achieve this? Thank you.
I have a template contract with 2 people to sign (employer and employee) We want to add an "approver" the only way to do this is to add them to the Participant list when using the template, however if we add them as number 1. it adds them as the first signer. and then it will not let us send to prefill because it is saying we are missing a signature because when we add the approver it pushes our 2nd singer to the '3rd signer' I am unable to add an Assigner to the template setup (our only options are participant, everyone, anyone or pre-fill) We do not want the approver sign anything, what are we doing wrong? This is so confusing to explain so i have tried to explain in photos. BASICALLY WHY IS IT ALLOCATING MY APPROVER TO SIGN.
Two users perform the same task in Acrobat cloud using the same workflow. The e-sign wizard looks different for each user. One can successfully prep and send the document, but the other person's wizard will hang on preparing. Tested with same workstation, same Windows profile, same browser, same (shared) e-sign template, same Acrobat license but different Acrobat accounts. The user having trouble can successfully e-sign send via cloud when NOT using a template, but this requires more clicks. E-sign send using the desktop client also works, but requires more clicks. We've tried rebuilding the e-sign template w/ different forms and they also hang for the one user having trouble. Looking for suggestion on how to change the e-sign template wizard? I couldn't find any prefernce settings. < successful wizard view > < hanging wizard view >

I have been using the IOS version of the Acrobat Sign app for years, I have had to sign in again recently to the app. After entering username and then password twice the app appears to divert to Acrobat with an error message stating"Something went wrong" "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later" You try again and get the same result. I tried to get help via chat with one of your agents case number ADB-30732198-R0F0 but they couldn't help me referring me to this forum. They also suggested to use the browser on my mobile and use acrobat.adobe.com to be able to send documents for signature, however I get the same error message "Something went wrong" "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later" and still no ability to send documentsd for signature. My business needs to send a number of contracts for signature via mobile and for "in person signature" at this point this part of my business has stalled. I am very disappointed with the lack of support for a pai
There seems to have been an update that completely screwed over our forms. On the "Prepare a form" side, it shows all text boxes & signature spots marked as REQUIRED, as they should be. (These forms have not changed since March 2020). Now all of a sudden, when I go to "Request signatures", 30% of the required text box fields and signature fields are no longer labeled as required. I have to go through and redesignate them as required. This is a 9 page registration form for potential clients- I don't have the time to redesgnate the required fields as such. What happened? Why did this change? Also, I received the message "Unsupported fields have been removed from this document". So what happened between Thursday, 12/21/2023 and today? The fields were always "supported" before? This is enough to make me cancel our subscription.
As in the title, I have a user receieving an error message when trying to send an e-signature request. What I've read indicates that it's an issue with transaction throttling, however only about 15 requests were made in the morning before getting this error, and less than 200 within the last 24 hours. This is by no means uncommon or heavy usage, and we've never recieved this message before. The user in question is licensed for Adobe Pro, and while the article I read was frustratingly vague on exactly how much it would take to trigger this error, that seems extremely low. Is there something else that could potentially be giving this message? Or some way to find more details about what caused it, in case it's being caused by duplicate requests or something of that nature?
Hello,Hope you are well. My name is Alice, I have lost my Adobe account with my portfolio https://unfhunt.myportfolio.com and can't recover it. Please, need any help with this issue. How did I lose the account? My main email address (unforhunt@gmail.com with the recovery email address and some other emails) was compromised all at once. Being afraid that the hackers would reach my portfolio as well (it had a quite similar password), I hastily created two additional Google accounts, linked their recovery to each other, and changed the Adobe ID from unforhunt@gmail.com to a.liustsiber@gmail.com, as well as changed the Adobe password. Unfortunately, I forgot the passwords for these Google accounts, as well as the password to the Adobe account (that was a hard-hacked night). I have only my phone number where Adobe codes come in, but that is not enough to log in or reset the password. What have I already tried to recover the account?1. Reset the password (phone number
A few days ago the alternative for requesting e-signatures disappeared. After logging out and in the symbols for requesting e-signatures reappeared, but when I now request E - signatures via Adobe Sign Enterprise the system gets stuck. It has worked before and I can sign myself. What should I do?
I've just bought and installed Acrobat but when I try to Add my signature using the Fill & Sign > Sign Yourself > Add Signature option, Acrobat screen just goes black (see attached) and I can't click on anything. Initially I thought I had to end the task using Task Manager. After many more attempts with other documents, after checking for updates, after a restart, after running a repair, I discovered that Esc works to get me back to the document. But I still can't use this option to add my signature [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

I have prepared a document for eSignature twice now, with the same results. Three designated signers, of which I am one. When I open the form to sign, it is having me enter on fields assigned to another signer. I deleted it the first time and sent a second time with the same results. what the hell is going on? how can an eSignature tool have this problem? Is the whole tool broken? why is there no edit feature to edit an existing esignature document so I can troubleshoot on my own? Why can't I get someone from adobe on the phone? We are running businesses that run 24x7, but Adobe is only available during business hours??? For something this crucial, I need someone to help ASAP. I'm losing customers, or at the very least looking like a fool. Can someone at Adobe please do something? This is very frustrating. I might be done with Adobe Sign unless this is fixed in the next 24 hours.
I need to setup a web form that allows multiple signers without knowing their email address before hand. In this case, the first signer is an applicant and the second signer is the applicant's witness. I've seen videos online that show a form where the first signer enters the email address of the second signer. However, when I setup multiple signers on my web form it requires that I put in the address of the second signer. However, that address will change with each application. Can this process be achieved?
Hi, Can someone confirm whether Adobe Sign E-Signatures are valid/recoginized in China? Thanks
Adobe you took a system that worked and made it completely unuseable. All I want to do is take a pdf form that I filled out and send it to a client to sign. It used to be super straight forward, fill in the form, click save, specify customers Email and where to sign. Now this thing is a huge mess and doesn't work at all. These new updates you guys keep doing throughout your programs are not looking good, as someone who has paid the monthly fee for years on end I'm ready to cancel and use a cheaper option.
Hi All, I notice the transaction license is being utilise even I didnt use the "Send for Signature". May I know if there any changes to the behaviour because I couldn't recall I being charged when I only use the "Fill and Sign" without sending it for signature.
A digital signature showing as "LTV enabled" in the signature panel of Adobe reader becomes "not LTV enabled" if in 'Signature Verification Preferences' dialog that opens (In Edit > Preferences, under categories, select Signatures.. From the Verification box in the Digital Signatures panel, select More...) , we deselect the Require certificate revocation checking to succeed... checkbox. However, the same signature again becomes LTV enabled if we select Require certificate revocation checking to succeed... checkbox. Is it a bug in Adobe Reader.
Hi Team,After generating adobe sign URL if user signed the agreement & try to clear the data with the help of options menu “Clear document data”. Data has been cleanup successfully we can see “Document data clear” message on window but once user again click on signature field last signature automatically pre-field in signature field, we just want to confirm with you is this a normal behavior of a signature type field? If not do, we have any suggestion for us to mitigate this issue? Same senario we observed for below signature dialog as well. Thanks,Vishal Bansal
Hello everyone,I have been able to get the access code using this URL:https://secure.na3.adobesign.com/public/oauth/v2?redirect_uri=https://localhost/AcrobatSignOauthServer/Home/OAuthCode&response_type=code&client_id=redacted&state=xxxxxxxxxx&scope=agreement_read:account+agreement_write:account+agreement_send:account+widget_read:account+widget_write:account+workflow_read:account+workflow_write:account However, when I use the access code returned from the URL above to get the access token, I got the error "Error: Request Security Violation at /oauth/v2/token". I checked on the developer forum and qui
In my organization we use both Adobe sign and Acrobat Pro DC. Many times we need to compare different versions of PDFs including some that are signed using Adobe Sign. However, we can't make it work with the Adobe Sign signed ones as we get an error that we need to modify the security settings. I can't find any settings regarding the ability to allow the the compare to happen. We end up converting to Word and comparing there. Is there a way that can be done from Acrobat?
Hi all, I have a question about the impact of the ICU locale enforcement by Salesforce in their Spring 24 update. Will Adobe Sign be impacted in any way?Sadly release notes did not shine a light to this question.Any information or relative links to this would be helpful. Many thanks,Sokratis
