I’ve recently learned about changes to how Monotype licenses its fonts, and how they’re using those changes to coerce designers, agencies, and companies into paying a lot more money to use their fonts.I thought this was contained to customers who licensed fonts directly from Monotype, however a friend of mine just finished switching all the fonts his company uses away from Monotype, and several were Monotype typefaces they’d been using through Adobe Fonts. Could you please clarify how the licensing works though Adobe Fonts? Do I have any risk of incurring fees from Monotype if I use a Monotype font offered by Adobe through Adobe Fonts?

Adobe Fonts are unable to integrate to my Webflow project, after creating 3 different APIs and waiting more than 12 hours it has been completely unsuccessful and the CDNs haven't been updated for me to work on this website. After reaching customer service I had the not pleasant fortune to chat with three Adobe Customer Support agents who didn't have a single idea of what an API was, nor cared to read that I already tried many things I found in the Adobe troubleshooting guides. My last resort was clearly CS. They kept on switching me from one agent to the other, the second agent kept on sending me dead links and even urls with several Typos (He didn't even knew the right Adobe Fonts URL) and finally he ended the conversation telling me to go check on the APIs website.good job mate! I got pissed off and asked the next one how can I report this,at least he understands..The only thing I could get from three agents whose english is not ideal and who work in a rude manner is t

Last year i had a brochure designed in Acumin Concept font. Now it says to wait for download or to replace. But it doesnt download because i tried to speed it up and see if this font is in the Adobe fonts but it isnt. So my question is is this gonna be a problem of  trust to use fonts from Adobe that might have the possibility of being removed any time? What kind of practice is this? Completely upset about the fact i have to rework the my whole thing!

Because there is no actual feature request option here, I’m posting this as a question: would it be possible to rethink the way Adobe Fonts browsing works? Adobe Fonts has an excellent library, but the browsing experience is painfully inefficient. Rendering only a handful of fonts per page and forcing users to click through endless numbered pages makes discovery far slower than it should be. If infinite scroll is not possible, at least show far more results per page. The Creative Cloud app is also missing essential functionality. The Adobe Fonts section should support real search and filtering by style, mood, and classification directly inside the app, without forcing users back to the website. Right now it feels incomplete. The quick actions strip is another weak point: hiding actions behind side arrows adds friction to something that should be immediate. This ecosystem has huge potential, but the current experience feels unfinished and unnecessarily time-consuming.

Hello! Problem installing fonts. Different uses in the desktop application and the online version of Adobe Fonts. They do not load in the application on the computer.

Want to know which typeface i should start logo design practice as a beginner

For years I've had issues with installing/keeping Adobe Fonts saved to my copmputers. Whether it's because they lost their licensing agreement with a third party company, or by promoting their own fonts (which seem to dissappear when you try installing them), Adobe has officially wasted enough of my time and money... Q:  Found a font and want to add the whole family to use in your projects?[Adobe solution]:   Great! I can’t count how many times I’ve signed in and out of Creative Cloud launcher or uninstalled Adobe Creative Cloud, or restarted my computer just to get Adobe Fonts working properly. We use over hundreds of fonts with out subscription and the fact we battle almost daily to get the fonts properly activated is becoming increasinly cumbersome. Anyone know if Adobe is actively working to fix this issue? Been at least 3 years now since Adobe Fonts hasn’t worked properly or without error.

I've tried sooo many font apps and they all are a constant hassle. I finally really want to just stick to Adobe Fonts. I've always shied away from it because it takes a really long time to load missing fonts. But maybe there is a solution for that? Also, I want to add my own fonts to the app, of course. But that already is failing miserably after a few initial tries. Most fonts I try to add give me a message that simply says "unable to add". I'm not sure why they're not adding to the system. There is not explanation. They aren't Type 1 fonts or anything and they seemed to work in other font apps. Should I just give up on Adobe Fonts too or is there a way around these problems? Do other people like using this app?

I have built this website in Squarespace and the fonts appear perfectly fine in Chrome but not in Safari.Does anybody know what can be wrong? I am using some Adobe fonts in a site. They show up perfectly fine in Chrome and Firefox. They do not show in any version of Safari. I'm using  @1552174 in the CSS for the fonts. This is the CSS I'm using on an h2:.date h2 { font-family: 'korolev', sans-serif; font-weight: 500; letter-spacing: 0.1em; font-size: 650%; margin: 0; line-height: 0.8em; font-style: normal; } Is there a trick to getting Adobe web fonts to work in Safari?

I want to add  Sofia Pro Soft in normal and italic light, regular and bold to a web project. However all the font weights are listed as 400. Did not have this issue with Typekit interface with same Typeface. Very frustrating.

The Adobe Creative Cloud fonts screen doesn’t load, just spins. I see that this has happened to other folks prior to 2026 and have done everything recommend in the Adobe community help short of uninstalling all creative cloud apps, including trying the cleaner tool.This is crazy. Have a heavy workload and this is the first chance I have had to try to solve this problem since it started January 16, 2026.The irony of all of this, is that, since the 1990’s I purchased a lot of T1 font families, you know, the Adobe original postscript based typefaces, and they are unusable. Since January, luckily, the TT & OT fonts that I had purchased have sufficed, but today, I sure needed access to those that I sadly used from ACC.Am I really going to have to uninstall all my apps, then, uninstall ACC to resolve this?I ran the Adobe Log Collector tool, but it keeps complaining it needs an internet connection, which, if you are reading this means I have one.Finally, I do continue to get error message

The installed fonts from Adobe Fonts are not syncing properly. The issue is more persistent with variable fonts. I need to restart the computer and log in and out of Creative Cloud to temporarily resolve the problem. Additionally, the circle icon that indicates font loading progress does not advance and remains stuck at “0 fonts loading.” 

I can’t install the font Hiragino Kaku Gothic on my iPad, while other fonts installed without any problems. I used the Creative Cloud app to install it, but it’s strange that I can only use this font in Illustrator. I’m not able to use it in other apps on my iPad. I want to use this font in CSP (Clip Studio Paint). 

Hi!! Adobe fonts are taking too long time to be installed! I guess this is an old issue, I used to have this same problem when this service was called as "Type Kit". I can see the problem continues, unfortunelly. My internet connection is Ok.

I added this font named Playwrite CC Portugal to Adobe Suite, and it keeps displaying like this in every programs including Illustrator and InDesign:  This is how the text app eared when I added it from the Adobe Fonts website:  It seems like all the other cursive fonts on my laptop is having a same problem. How do I solve this?

Hi,I've designed a visual identity for a client using Neue Haas Grotesk as their new font. They are Creative Suite subscribers and are able to activate the font and use it in InDesign, Illustrator etc, but neither of us can see the font in any of the Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). We've activated the fonts months ago and restarted all programs multiple times, but Neue Haas Grotesk just doesn't show up in the font list. It's supposed to work seamlessly with Microsoft Office for Mac, right? Do they really have to buy the font as well, just to be able to use it in PowerPoint and Word? 

I installed Juma font (Naipe Foundry) this morning. No special licensing noted. Tried to use it in Adobe Express (as suggested in the app), and although the color version is selected, it is only showing some version of the monochrome font. Adobe shows that I have full premium access. Anyone know what I’m missing here? 

Is it allowed to use fonts that have been rasterized or converted to outlines—and then reshaped or decorated—in video content for commercial purposes?

I have a large collection of locally installed fonts and I want to homogenize it with Adobe fonts. I wish to remove all the fonts that are installed locally where Adobe fonts has an equivalent. Only fonts not available in Adobe will be installed locally.I cannot find on the web a list of the fonts available on Adobe fonts. Is this possible?

Hello, my company need to transfer all project with adobe ps, id, il from adobe installed on a mac to a adobe installed on windows, I did a lot of test but i have a lot of problem with original font of apple that i am not able to found for windows. The question is which is the best way to transfer all my mac project done with adobe into windows? Is it possibile without convert all font?

Times New Roman (OTF) is suddenly unavailable, and unable to intall vie ACC or Chrome browser. I have restarted, deactivated and reactivated the font, turned on and off sync settings etc, etc to no avail. Please advise. WIndows 11.Thank you,Carol

After updating Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro 26.0 can no longer find the fonts used in one of my projects.When I checked in the Creative Cloud Fonts section, I was surprised to see that almost all of my fonts are gone, only two remain available:New Frank LightNew Frank Regular Italic The Recently Expired tab is empty, and the Expiring Soon tab is also empty.When I click Browse More Fonts, it opens fonts.adobe.com and shows that my fonts are still available/activated in my account, but they no longer appear on my computer or any of the Adobe apps. It feels like there’s a workaround or sync issue that I’m missing. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix? System: Windows (Premiere Pro 26.0)
