Adobe Fonts

I notice that I have a bunch of Fonts on my computer which are labelled as being of a type "X".Are these Type 1 PS fonts, TT, TTF or something else?And will they still be compatible with Adobe apps in 2023 or should I trash them?

Hello, I am seeking assistance re Adobe Fonts for commercial use: 1. Can I create my business logo using Adobe Fonts and have it placed on a physical product for sale? Ie on shoes, clothing labels, etc for use for an indefinite period of time? Does the status of my Creative Cloud subscription impact this?2. Is there a way to purchase an Adobe Font to have exclusive use of it? Thank you.

For what ever reason, Expressway font quit working.  Any ideas on why?

Hello, I've tried to contact support on twitter and on the chat but none seem to understand my request so here I am. The image depicting the arabic language on adobe font, in the "sort by language" section at the bottom, is incorrect. It's written from left to right with detached letters while arabic is written from right to left with attached letters. Here's the one on the website. And here's how it should be. I hope this gets resolved,Thank you for your help. 

I subscribe to the full CC suite and am looking for a font of the Art Deco or Art Nouveau style. It would be something between or similar to Metropolis or Paris Metro. I'd prefer to be able to download it as part of my CC subscription, but I don't mind paying. I've tried searching Adobe Fonts, but I don't see a way to search a general type like those mentioned above. Thanks.

I recently transfered my system from an Intel Macbook to a M1 Pro Macbook. Everything is working except for the fonts. When I go to the Fonts page in the Adobe Creative Cloud app an endless loading sign appears. I am using Monterey 12.0.1 on apple silicon. Fonts downloaded from Adobe fonts work well in Adobe apps, however they are not working in Pages. The font list displays adobe fonts as boxes with question marks. When an Adobe font is selected the font displays with characters overlapping. I've attached photos to illustrate the issue. Hello, I would like to ask how does the cookie p.gif from typekit.net work.As I can read on Adobe Privacy Policy  : In providing the Adobe Fonts service for websites, we do not set or use cookies in order to serve our fonts. We use embeded Futura PT font and the javascript from use.typekit.net (which loads the font to the web)  inserts the cookie p.gif to the website. This cookie keeps track of special fonts used on the website for internal analysis. The cookie does not register any visitor data.With regard to the new law on GDPR valid from 2022 website visitors must have a possibility to turn off this type of cookie via cookie bar.So I would like to ask you for help how to make the font appear on website if the visitor turns off the p.gif cookie. Please, why is in privacy policy written that there is no need a cookie with Adobe font service when the cookie is used. Thank you very much for your help.

We have several users using Adobe Creative Cloud V 4.8.2.478.In the last couple of weeks they have noticed that they can no longer synch any fonts from Adobe Fonts/TypeKit to their CC apps.What used to happen was you would go to the fonts tab in Creative Cloud and it would list any activated fonts (see fig1) and from there you could go to manage fonts which loads Search fonts | Adobe Fonts  and from there you find a font you want and switch the slider button to activate and you would get 2 notifications pop up, one from the website and one from CC itself, see fig2Fig1Fig2What now happens is when you go to the Fonts tab in CC you dont get what you can see in the above image.What you get is the below, see Fig3. Where you see no active fonts and you click on browse fonts which opens Search fonts | Adobe Fonts which is fine but if you activate a font which you can still do, you only get the one notification from the website to say its been activated - the green one in Fig2 - you do no

Hello,  I added some fonts from dafont into the Adobe Creative Cloud.Everything works fine, until I shut down my PC. When I turn it back on, the added fonts wont show up, neither in Illustrator nor InDesign, and it tells me the usual "Missing Font".And although they are still installed into the Creative Cloud, I cant find them anymore. I need to deinstall all the fonts, and drop them into the Cloud again.Then the fonts that were missing are instally there again and everything works fine. I already tried installing the Creative Cloud new, but nothing changed.Can anyone help me out ? Its really tiring to install like 10 fonts everytime I start working. Thanks, Lina

Hello, i need some help hereSo i notice that adobe have some pre-installed fonts like emoji one, myriad, marlett etc (i put the screenshot below). I'm not really sure if all of it was pre-installed adobe or windows. I'm currently using windows 7, and when i look for some fonts like emoji one, it's not on the windows installed font list.My question is1. Is it adobe or windows pre-installed fonts?2. Can we delete it?. I really wanted to work only with some adobe cloud fonts, and some of my purchased (outside adobe) fons. It's nice that we have the cloud filter, but it's a bit annoying that there is no filter for my purchased one, and sometimes it confused my that all of the fonts was blend together with the pre-installed one.Thank you very much guys 🙂

update from last post. I downloaded courier prime and restarted my computer. It is now an option in acrobat adobe but whenever I type with this font selected, all that shows up are DOTS. 

I'm one of the lucky ones with the new MacBook Pros, but Adobe Fonts has been almost unusable so far in Keynote on Mac OS 12.   1. Most Adobe Fonts are simply not showing up in the font menu, even though they are activated   2. Some fonts that are activated have extremely compressed character spacing, and adjusting the character spacing in Keynote does not solve anything. This only happens with weights that are marked Regular, all other weights seem to be ok.   Hope these teething issues are sorted out soon! Hello,I have uploaded a custom client font via adobe creative cloud application on my home-office computer to be able to use it at work and home.When I went to work my work projects didn´t load the font and reported it missing.I checked the adobe creative cloud app and the fonts are reported as installed.So I had to uninstall them on the work-PC and re-uploaded them and then could use the fonts on the work-PC. Now I am back at the home-PC and have the same problem.Fonts reported as installed but not available to use in any application!?I thought syncing fonts between workstations is the whole point of uploading my fonts to creative cloud?Any help appreciated. I'm woking on MacOS. About two weeks ago my problem has start. I download fonts from the websites that I normally use, I installed the fonts and they are in my Font Book but when I trying to use them in any adobe programs they are not there. What sould I do? Hi, I have a problem getting my fonts to register as activated. I have check my account online and my online list of active fonts is accurate. However, inside of my programs (ai, ps, id), all of my fonts are being shown as missing (inactive).  I tried to check the active fonts section in the CC app but it continuously cycles and displays nothing.I tried to toggle the fonts off in the CC app; I even signed-out and restarted my computer, but the CC still hangs on displaying my activated fonts and activating them within my projects has become an experiment.

 Active fonts through Adobe show up as unnamed and condensed (at default spacing) when using OS Monterey (V12.0) pages. Unsure how to rectify the problem at they seem okay in other Adobe apps.

I recently purchased Font Folio 11.1 as I'd like to have a fully localized library of OpenType fonts available on my machine. Adobe suggests the software will be available for download in the Orders & Invoices section of my online Adobe Account. While the Font Folio order is listed, and the invoice number is there, the download link does not exist. I have an order number, serial number, invoice, and everything... yet no ability to download the $3k software just purchased. I've spoken with three Adobe representatives and not one of them knew what Font Folio was. Not a great sign, tbh. Perhaps I'm dating myelf with wanting a clean library of fonts stored locally on my machine, but I find this to be a great way to keep things orderly, tagged, and searchable within my workflow. Sure, searching and activating fonts one-by-one is possible via Creative Cloud but this method is slower and less organized than I'd like it to be. And quite frankly, CC is bloated. Does anyo

Is there any faster way to reinstall automatically deinstalled fonts other than clicking on every font one by one? There has to be, right? Like, for example, a download icon right next to the font family at least? So I can reinstall the whole font family at once? Or maybe even up top next to "Active Fonts", right? So that I can reinstall all fonts with one click? Or do I really have to to click a few hundred times?Thank you for helping a frustrated user on a saturday evening.
