Adobe Learning Manager

Hello Community Members,I am a YouTuber and online course creator. I recently got introduced to Adobe captivate and it seems extremely easy to use. I am not sure whether I will be using this product or not and whether it is what i am thinking about it. Is there any YouTube channel about Adobe captivate where I could understand it better and quick. Also how you guys are using this. Good Day! I was curious if there was a reason or if its just my end, but our email templates for Certifications do no have the option in insert automatically generated fields into the template for Certifications. Is has Learning Program and Course details, but nothing for Certifications. One of my authors tried to us the LP fields, but they came up blank in an email. I found that there is Certification fields in the system, but they ONLY prepopulate on the defaults templates the system creates. Additionally, the CertificationEnrollmentDeadline field is coming up blank in emails the system is generating. Not sure why this is the case as it is a default field. And, the CertificationName field does not come up as a URL like all Learning Programs and Courses which seems inconsistent. Buttons on email templates:Field used from default:Outcome in Email: 

HIEnrolling learners on a course.If I enrol a Team or a user Profile will learners who join that team or change to the user profile in the future be enrolled automatically.I cannot use a Learning Plan for this course as I have to enrol teams/profiles but exclude a custom role. CheersScott

I have an HTML5 course that I need to publish to CP. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if it is, how to publish it? I didn't create the original file, so I'm not sure what was used to create the content.

Ok so I have multiple users assigned to a profile that I misspelled, how do I edit or delete that profile. I have assigned all users to the correct profile now, but the misspelled profile still shows up when I am adding users leaving the chance  to assign them to the wrong one again.

My observation after enrolling new users using the CSV file, I noticed a question mark sign is added to some learners, and when I try editing those learners with the question mark sign, "user with given email or unique id is already present" I was able to edit few ones but the majority pop up with that error when i click on save. What's the way out?

I am new to all this - I have 7 elearning courses ready to go,. How could I integrate an ecommerce facility with adobe captivate? So users only access the material once they have paid a course fee? any help, gratefully received!

I have managed to give the Manager the "Learner and Manager" Profiles but how does the Manager then Nominate his Team Member to each course in Captivate Prime? Do they need the Admin or Auth Profile as well? Hope this makes sense! 🙂 

If a learner has completed a course via a learning plan will they be required to complete it again if enrolled in the  same course via a different Learning Plan?

When taking a quizz, it skips questions and then tells me I've failed - of course I have - I never got the questions. Example: Last quizz skipped from question 2 to question 6. So results show questions 3, 4, 5 as being incorrect.Tried takit did the same thing again.

Hello!I know how to add tags to a course. Is there a way that someone can search for specific modules in a course? I don't know how to add tags to the modules (lessons) and I'm not sure if that's a possibility.  Thank you, Katie

I have a registered learner who is unable to access their account. They are prompted to enter a verification code that is being sent to an old phone number they no longer have access to. They select "Get Your Code Another Way" and a verification code is sent to their email. When they enter the code from their email they are then prompted to enter another verification code that is sent to their old phone number. How can they access their account and/or change their phone number without being able to login into their account?

Hi,I had created a custom field named "Department" sometime ago in our Captivate Prime setup.  Since we want to restrict the values in this field, I had added the values to make it a dropdown field.  Now we have new departments to be added, but I see a note saying that since this is a csv field, new values cannot be added to this field.  Is there a way around it? I want to allow this field to be populated when performing a csv upload of users, but it should be flexible enough to allow addition of new values. 

Can you help me? I cann't sign in adobe captivate prime with my adobe email account now.

Hi, I am wondering if Prime let's you create standard profiles under which custom roles could be assigned? Problem: We want to create custom role for users specific to their own locations and specific user groups/ catalogs only. With locations all over the country, looks like I will end up creating hundreds of custom roles, unless I am missing the point of doing it in another way?Any advise/ idea is appreciated. Thanks, 

Hello,I am unclear if  badges assigned  for courses can also influence leader board tracking via gamifciaton.  Can a badge have points associated to it?  Thank you in advnce for any insights.

Hi there,Our users are enrolled in learning programs via learning plans but they don't show up under Learners under the courses or the learning program they are enrolled in. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, how were you able to solve for it? I am trying to mark completions for some users and doing it under the course or learning program seems to be the only way to do so.Thank you.

Good morning, when opening projects already created or generating new ones, the visualization of the workspace remains black. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Captivate but it doesn't work. I share the error screen. Can anyone help me to fix it? I use a MaxBookPro

I created a training with "next" buttons that had been in the assets section of Captivate that are supposed to appear at a specific time. When I run the slide in captivate they pop up when they are supposed to. When I preview, they never show up. I have reached out to Abobe help twice for this now and each time was told something different. I rebuilt the entire training worried it was the file adn created my own butons with smart shapes and I am still facing the same issue. I have double checked the time line, the timings and have mirrored everything to other trainings that I make in the past that work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi all,Do you have to clear browser cookies after updating a course in Captivate Prime? We currently use CourseMill as our LMS with Storyline 360 as our development tool, and everytime we update a course, users who have already started the course need to clear their cookies in order to see the changes in Chrome. Thanks!

I use Adobe Captivate as my company's LMS. I am trying to edit content uploaded. My thought was to export it, as I have been able to with all other LMS's I've used, but I don't see to see an option. Is it possible to export content from the Content Library? Thanks in advance.
