Hi,Looking for any advice. We published three courses and need to combine them into one because two of the courses are actually modules that belong in the other course. Having three separate courses has also caused confusion and complaints among our clients so this is rapidly becoming a priority. We know how to combine the modules into one course; however, we are unable to find how to either mark the courses as equivalent or mark learners complete. We need the option for equivalencies or to mark learners complete because some of the learners have completed the three separate courses and we cannot request they review the content again. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this or recommendations? Thanks,Renee
I am interested in using Javascript to access the Prime database via the APIs from within a Cp2017 project playing in the fluidic player. Here is the scenario. We have a course with 3 modules:M1: A training video (Required)M2: a final Exam (Required)M3: a certificate, which is locked until the final exam is passed. (Optional)From the certificate we want to pull data from the Prime database and populate variables in Cp2017. Specifically:UserNameUserEmailDate of passing the Final ExamCourse TitleHas anyone done this? Or have a working example? Thanks in advance.
Hi all. We have been using the external groups for our partner organizations and assigning internally-registered/csv-upload managers as the manager. We have been getting requests from the managers of these external groups on how to view, track and monitor learning activities for external users. I have made a test myself where I created an external group with few users and me as a manager. However I am unable to generate any reports as I couldn't see/select my external group as options. I am not even sure if manager has this access (I know Administrators can generate external group reports). Can anyone advice how can a manager track, monitor and generate reports for external group learning activities? Thanks in advance!
Hello,I created a course in Captivate and published the course to Captivate Prime. It is a software simulation demo course. It appears that if one of the slides has a recording on the slide of me moving something on the screen it has a flash or two of white screen in Prime when you view the course. I did notice if I rewind the course to playback the slide it will work just fine the second time. It has been doing this behavior for 3 of my coworkers as well. It does not seem to matter if it is a Mac or a Windows machine or which browser we use to view the course. If you have any ideas for how I can fix this that would be great.
I have uploaded several SCORM packages to Prime which contain videos on slides. The videos are MP4's and play perfectly fine outside of Prime. After uploading to Prime the videos have major black square artifacts throughout. I am publishing these from Captivate 2017 and I have tried disabling compression in the publish settings but that has no effect. See belowhttp://
There is a setting when creating a Job Aid. You can select PRivate. What does tht do? Who can see it if it is Private? Thanks

I am trying to upload a CSV file to add multiple users using the Captivate Prime Sample CSV file. Although Captivate Prime tells me that my file was uploaded successfully, the import log gives me two errors. 1. An internal Error has occurred or2. Error while processing user group due to cyclic dependency.

Simple question that I haven't been able to find a straight answer on: Does Prime support courses published to Flash?
While importing a .csv of users, the error "ERROR_USER_CSV_INVALID" keeps appearing despite knowing the CSV is in a valid format (because I downloaded your template and I am using it).Two things:1. Improve the error messaging for this to be more actionable2. Please help so I may import our users.
I have been having issues uploading a bulk user list via CSV.After a lot of trial an error and a number of Prime errors (none of which were particularly helpful), I managed to get a CSV upload to work. Unfortunately, not all of the employees on my CSV uploaded.I tried to delete everyone and start over, but I couldn't delete a manager despite her no longer having reports in the system. When I tried to reupload the CSV, none of the employees on the list populated in Prime despite it indicating that the upload was successful. Not sure what the issue may be here, but here are some additional questions:- When exporting a CSV, should anything be done to the cells prior to export to ensure that there aren't issues? Remove formatting, etc.- Will the system behave differently if the CSV is exported from Keynote vs. Excel for Mac? - How will the system handle people with two first names? Anne Marrie, David Lee, etc.
I have two comments regarding the fluidic player. I am curious to know how many have experienced these.Exiting the player can be a challenge. I recently received a phone call from one of the participants in a course who asked me how to close out of the content and go back to the course screen. I responded by stating that there should be an 'X' in the upper right corner to close the player. They said there is no 'X' there. Fortunately, this was an internal participant - so I went to their desk and had them show me and sure enough, there was no 'X' in the corner. We tried a different browser, same issue. To make the long story short, it turns out that when you have the table of contents open, the 'X' slides off the screen. So you must first close the table of contents then close the window. This is not a showstopper now that I am aware - I can tell folks what to do.I submit that the 'X' should properly float in the corner all the time.I have an issue where my content plays functions as e
Hello support team,I have a problem with Adobe captivate Prime.I want to add a Video File to the content catalog. Unfortunately, the upload does not work. Either I'm headed to a blank page or thrown out of edit mode. I have added several videos in the content catalog, but only here is the problem. The file size is 230 MB.What can I do?Thank and best regards
The course that I am creating in Prime has 6 modules that have been imported from Adobe Captivate 2017. For multiple modules there has been a program error in that text has disappeared from the slides. For one module there isn’t any text on any of the slides. In other modules there will be text on some slides, but then not on others. This happens regardless of the publishing method, i.e. directly from Captivate or via a zip from my computer. Each module was originally created in PowerPoint, imported to Captivate to add audio, quizzes, etc., and then published to Prime. Previously I used Adobe Connect and everything worked fine. Please help! Thanks!
How does one delete a course?
Is there an easy way to switch between learner and admin scope via the API?Unfortunately, loResourceGrades/{id} is only offered as a learner-level operation and cannot be accessed by an admin user. Get /users/{id}/enrollments is only available to admins. Therefore, I have to log in as an admin to get a list of enrollments for a learner, then log in as a learner to get completion status for each module. Finally, I would need to log back in as an admin to mark a module as complete. It would be great to be able to do everything as one user without having to switch scopes back-and-forth.Any ideas would be great. Thank you for any help!
Hello to the Prime Technical Development team & fellow admins.Since my learning program is very young (which includes Prime) I often get requests for learning transcripts for a particular time period. Currently when running an Excel Report --> Learner Transcripts Prime does NOT have the ability to allow you to select a custom end date (defaults to TODAY).My feature request is to allow admins to run learner transcript reports with a custom end date.Regards,Thomas H.Master Electronics
Greetings! I'm attempting to take wiki based new hire checklists and create a similar user experience in Prime. The checklists consist of training, self paced tasks that are checked off and documents. I would like to have the checklist functionality so that a user could jump in and out of a course and remember the checklist where it was last left. So far, the only program I've found that does this is Articulate Engage. From what I've gotten with speaking with Adobe, using that in Learning Programs might be the best way to achieve this.Does anyone have any other ideas or done something similar to achieve this? Thanks!
I am very interested in using this LMS for my institution, but am trying to get the trial working to demonstrate it to my colleagues for a presentation I am giving on Monday. I have a completed SCORM1.2 module that I made in Storyline 2 that I uploaded into a newly made course. When uploading the module, it works when I preview it as a Learner; however, when changing my login to the Learner and enrolling in the course, the module does not load when invoked and only gives me a black screen. Is this a problem with the trial itself? Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!Furuta
Via the API, I can find information about course status for a user, but am struggling to both get and set completion status for a module within a course. When searching enrollments for a user, I see the listThe end goal is to figure out if a user has completed a previous module within a course, so that we can allow access to another module in an external application.Thank you for any help!EDIT: I found GET /loResourceGrades/{id} under /users with LEARNER permissions, where I can pass the "learningObjectResourceGrade" and get the status. *** I wish this was available to ADMIN users, as well, since only admins can update the status to complete. Now I will have to log in as a learner to get the status, and then log out the learner and log in as an admin to mark complete. ***
Hello,In exploring ACP, I have seen information on learning course evaluations, but I am very curious about the ability to evaluate entire learning programs that contain multiple courses. How can you evaluate entire learning programs using ACP?Thanks and Cheers!
I'm not sure what the "learner module grade post body" input should be for "post /users/{userId}/userModuleGrade" in the V2 version of the Captivate Prime API. I see that it requires JSON input, but not sure of the exact format and data needed. My goal it to mark a course as complete/passed for a user. I can get the status from "get /users/{id}/enrollments/{enrollmentId}", but cannot figure out how to update it.
Is Captivate Prime suitable for external / public learners? We want to create a platform where our members (not employees of the company) will have access to the content we create. In this scenario, they would signup on our website, and then be able to login and get access to content. The end users would not be part of the company. Is Captivate suitable for this kind of workflow? What would billing look like in that scenario?
