Media Encoder was working fine until 2 weeks ago and now does not work. I have to export from pro and audition and can not export to media encoder. There is no new update.
I have this plugin called Saber, on After Effects works perfectly fine but when I try to render out my comp, the plugin becomes black, I've tried installing the Saber plugin in the Media Encoder folder and still does the same thing. Also the plugin is put on a solid.
Upon opening Media Encoder 15.4.1, it loads plugins and does this for a little bit. Then, it stops on "Loading Lock and Load CS5.plugin" and crashes, bringing up an "Error report..."I can't locate this plugin. How does one fix this problem? It wasn't doing this until a recent update. However, even after installing Media Encoder 14.9.2 the problem continues. Please advise.
Hi, I'm unable to overwrite the output files that are generated from AEM I set both After Effect 18.0.1 and Media Encoder 15.0 to run as Administrator in windows 10 , however it keeps on failing with error : I can delete these files manually without any problem ( I'm running as Administrator) , then resubmit the export job in AME and it gets through successfully. There must be an additional settings about Windows 10 security but I can't find it and it is slowing down my workflow a lot 😞 PS: I also tried to check or uncheck "compatibility with Windows 8" to not avail. Many thanks for you help !
I have video file with 16 channel audio and i used media encoder to decrase them to 2 channel audio.I'd like to know how media encoder works to decrease the 16 channel audio to 2 channel audio...Is media encoder gives me the first 2 audio channels and delete the channels from 3 to 16??!!Or Is media ender make sum for ch 1,5,9,13 and put them on channel 1,, sum for ch 2,6,10,14 and put them on channel 2.Regards,,
I've been given a video which I need to add a simple footer to right throughout. The video provided is an .mp4, 1280x720 running around 33mins, 60mb but when I export it through Media Encoder I can't seem to get it anywhere near 60mb while maintaining the quality of the original. The lowest Target Bitrate setting gets me just over 70mb but the quality is unusable.Any ideas how to export an .mp4 with similar settings?VLC says the codec on the original video is: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Media Encoder 15.4.1 does not open on my machine. It hangs on the splash screen. If I roll it back to version 14.6, then it seems to open -- but not too useful as I am working in an AE Project on its latest version.Lenovo System Model 20YQ003AUSWindows 10 Pro 64-bit 20H211th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11850H @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHzRAM: 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA RTX A2000 Latop GPU
Hey everyone, I've been dealing with this annoying "feature" in AME for quite a while, and I really want to figure out how to avoid this. Basically, sometimes when I try to create proxies through Media Encoder, it'll auto-rename my output files to "FILENAME"_1. In the past, I've been fine with just renaming every file after they process so they can relink to full-res media in Premiere based off of name, but I really just want to figure out what I might be missing that's causing this.I'm running AME v13.1, and here are my system specs (although I have noticed this on older versions of AME, and on my PC at home):Let me walk you through my process...Right now, I'm working with footage from a Sony FS7 footage shot in 4K AVCHD, trying to create 1080 DNX LB proxies. I've imported my footage from my media onto my hard drive, and then I want to create proxies on that hard drive, so I created this ingest preset......with the default destination set to my desired folder on that hard drive, which
Hi there, I want to watch Live TV channels through m3u8 files. So, I have selected https://wigistream.to/ as a Flash media player to stream. I created a stream with a name and URL. For example: Stream Name: yb9b2n FMS URL: rtmp://origin.wigistream.to/cast?publishsign=aWQ9MTk3MiZzaWduPXRuOXJrbjVVZmFua2orS2FvbGpQQ2c9PQ== They told me to encode the m3u8 file on Adobe Flash Media Encoder with the above stream name and FMS URL. But I don't know where to put the m3u8 file and how to encode it to stream live. I have installed Adobe 12.12 on my computer. So, can you please help me to stream my m3u8 file? Any reply will be highly appreciated.
Media Encoder won’t open After Effects projects for render. The Dynamic Link server doesn’t lead to anything and nothing ends up in the Queue. Able to add other files such as PSD to the Queue but not AE files. Have checked software updates for macOS. I’ve also used the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to uninstall and then reinstalled everything. All software and Adobe apps are up to date. Not sure what else to try and looking for help to resolve this.
Whenever I try to render a AE project (200 - 500mb) on Media Encoder it doesn't render and crash the render after few seconds. I'm only able to render 480p quality then. How to fix this issue?
I fixed my problem!! Media Encoder 14.9 hadn't been working for me for several weeks - crashes during launch. BUT... I noticed it was stopping while loading plugins - specifically one called "Godrays.plugin" from developer Meltcore. So I located where it was in my library folder and removed the entire folder - only the Meltcore and Mr.Horse 3rd party plugins for After Effects (I never really used them much).... and now it works! Unfortunately, during an earlier attempt to fix the problem I removed my preferences/settings. Now I don't have any of my old custom settings. I'll need to dig through 5 years of old emails to find the weird settings for some of my less common projects (but that's my fault for not backing them up!)
When I render After Effects or Premiere Projects to MP4 files, the bit rate of the final file is often way loower than the bit rate that I specified. For example, when I made a project in After Effects, I used the preset for Vimeo HD 1080, with a bit rate of 16, but the final putput file is only about 4. Then I tried to render the same project again, and I specified a bit rate of 30. (AME projected that the file would be over 200MB.) The final file's bit rate was only 4, and the file size was only 19 MB. What is causing this to happen?
AME will not open. All updates are complete...
Trying to export a ton of videos into the queue from after effects but it's stopped inputing them into the queue and just doesn't do a thing when I go to export in After Effects. Is this an error or is there a limit? Nothing is telling me what the problem is.
when im trying to export a video on photoshop, the adobe media encoder option is unavaliable.please help.
Can't rent only Adobe Media Encoder?
I don't even know with what to start. On Friday everything worked correctly and since Monday I'm not able to work at all.First Media Encoder didn't want to open at all. I thought that it might be down to Windows 10 update so I installed the newest version of AE and ME(15.4.1). The program or didn't want to launch at all or didn't import the files. I go back to previous version and managed to render 4 videos before it crash again. After reinstalling it 3 times today, cleaning all the catche, removing folder 12.0 form C:/.../Adobe/Media Encoder I still have not working program. It isn't even connecting with project, it just frezzes. My machine specs:Win 10 64bit, 32 GB RamIntel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.80 GHzAMD Radeon HD 7900All drivers up to date
I have an MXF file. I'm trying to output as two video files: .mov and .mp4. I also have a .SCC file that has the subtitles that I'm trying to use. When I go into Media Encoder and drop the .scc file, it adds it as a new source instead of adding it to both video files. How can I use Media Encoder to add the .scc file to both the .mov and .mp4 files?
Hi community, I have created an AE comp which I want to render to import into Premiere (dynamic links slow down my computer too much). Though when I click on Composition > Add Comp to Media Encoder Queue, Media Encoder opens but nothing happens, and AE crashes suddenly. I receive this log message: Last log message was: <275851> <DynamicLink> <5> AME app path: /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2021/Adobe Media Encoder 2021.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Media Encoder 2021 What do y'all think it comes from? Thank you for your help!
I tried to open Media Encoder 2020 but a message came up, "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue." I'm using MacBook Pro & macOS Catalina v 10.15.2 (i just updated). Help! Title edited by Mod
This is more of a general question, or request if you have links to something that explains this simply it would be much appericated. Basically I have always stuggled with instagram / social media compression and I was hoping to get a better understanding of compression, bitrate, and variable vs constant since I typically just use the default h.264. How do you find the sweet spot or know which to use in certain situations? File size isn't really an issue for me, but I assume most platforms have a set size that if you go over your compression gets worse? My renders are anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes across a variety of styles, video, generative, animation .. etcI just seem to have alot of issues with glows, gradients, blacks, and more complex movement that looks pixelated compared to some of my favorite artists and I want a better understanding to maximize my image quality. Thanks,
I had to reinstall my mac completely so had to install Adobe CC suite again and now all my Premiere projects have all AE copms offline. I can only relink the ones that are in AE Project that I open up. What is going on? I'm on Big Sur 11.5.2, and reinstalled both AE 18.4.1 and Premiere 15.4.1 several times. Previously I never had this problem.
Hi everyone. When I export my Sequence to MP4 on CBR (15MBps) all video is fine except the last two clips in the sequence. The pixelization appears just before and after the cut. It starts 2 seconds before and lasts 2 seconds after the cut. If I export with the same settings only the problematic part, then video is clean, but when try to export all the video (approx. 50 minutes) it pixelates that part, even If I recopy over the video track already exported clean part. If I export VBR1 or VBR2 the video is clean, but when I do CBR (even on very high bitrates), then its not good. I tried to expand my workflow : starting to export video on ProRes, the result was good, but when i re-encoded video afterwards on H.264 MP4 CBR result was the same bad as if i encoded directly to CBR. Also I tried to render before and to include rendered video in export - doesn't help. I checked and unchecked all the settings in export window which leads to maximizing quality of video - doesn't help.
