Program wont launch, hangs up on the start screen. All other Abobe programs run fine. Seems to hang up while loading Arriraw.prm
I used Media Encoder 23.2 via Premiere Pro 23.1 on Win11 to create a series of PNG sequences from a couple of videos. The sequences were put into separate directories. After the processing was done, I found that in about 25% of cases, the outputed PNG files had switched to a different frame size at some point while processing. It's clear from the file dates/times that it happened while it was processing the whole sequence. How could this happen? It "acts" as if when I had PP adds a new job row to ME, the new job's frame size causes the current "in progress" job to switch frame sizes, as if the frame size if a single global variable. This is very time wasting and I cannot believe a bug this basic is present.
My ME version is 23.2.1,Windows 11 25324.1000.I'm not sure if the problem I encountered can be reproduced on other computers, so I'll say what I encountered and how to deal with it:After the update, my ME can not open, first read ImporterARRIRAW.prm unresponsive, then delete, read ImporterMXF.prm stuck there, no unresponsive, after deleting I can enter the software. So is this a problem with my system or is it a software incompatibility problem?
Dear community, maybe you can help me out with my issue.I am using AME (currently 2023.2.1) in 4 instances, each running on DL360 with an nVidia P1000 hardware, overall running pretty smoothly. The encoders are orchestrated by Helmut4 IO by Moovit which assigns each instance its encoding jobs. When encoding is done or failed, the source files are moved to a folder, either "processed" or "unprocessed". Since some time now, some MXF files are kept AME so that they cannot be moved or deleted, though the encoding process is finished - this leads to a whole bunch of files in the watchfolder. Other filetypes like MP4, MOV, MPG and so on are doing fine. The only way to move or delete the files is to close the AME app - even a restart of the AME doesn't help here, the files are still kept from deletion by AME after a restart. As closing, moving the file and reopening the application after each transcoding takes a bit of time, I'd like to have it the way it was. Nothing unusual in the AME logs.UPDA
And this has been bugging for years. On Intel Macs and My M1 Max 16" Macbook pro. AME 2021, 2022 both do not finish packaging the file resulting in a 51kb file. Generally if I go back to 2020 it will work properly but now I can't download that version.
Cuando inicio un renderizado en media enconder mi computador pasa a pantalla azul y se reinicia, solo pasa cuando se exporta desde media encoder
I updated my Premiere Pro from 23.1 to 23.2 because 23.1 was crashing at 0% for exporting within Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro 23.2 does the same as well. Doesn't even get started with the export before Premiere Pro dispays a message that it needs to close. I would use Media Encoder but that too is experiencing a bug, it crahses while trying to open and I just updated AME on Saturday March 4th... previous versions don't seem to do the trick either. Very frustrated and disappointed with Adobe. Anyone have a fix?
Just 'upgraded' to the new Media Encoder. I doesn't open and I get a crash report on my desktop.Anyone else have this problem or suggestions on how to fix it?
I am currently trying to render a facecam border I quickly made for a friend as a webm file through media encoder via after effects however everytime I try to render with an alpha layer the Sabre plugin doesn't render correctly and instead is just displaying as a large white box.. see screenshots below This is what i'm getting This is what I want... I'm currently rendering as 1500x1500, 30fps, 30s lengthquality is set to max on a VP9 with alpha enabledAudio is disabledplease help, i'm running out of ideas here...
I have several long video clips (like 60 to 90 minutes) that I'm converting from MTS to MP4. On some of them, somewhere in the middle of the video stream, the audio stream restarts from the beginning of the file. In other words the audio goes out of sync and restarts from the beginning in the middle of the video file. This occurs in AME. It appears work properly when encoded inside PP.
AME crashes pretty much stright away on launch.I see the loading logo and that's it.Crash report attached .
My PC is set to "never" sleep. Despite this, multiple times while running a long render queue (over 150 clips), my computer would go to sleep. When i would come check on the render, the fans are running and sounds like everything is running fine, I would move the mouse, the computer would seemingly restart and the start up sequece comes on screen. I log in, and all programs are closed including media encoder, and I got to look in the export folder and the last video file was created an hour ago, and the rest are not completed. Why is this happening? The computer is not turned off when I come back to it, but by moving the mouse to awaken the screen, the computer seems to restart. Also, even though there were clips that completed rendering, they are still in the queue when I open media encoder up again after the ghost restart. Normally I have all my projects/cache/program/video files on their respective internal ssd's as per Premier Pro requirements, But this is a project was a last
Hello, I'm on Media Encoder, its up to date 03 of March 2023. I'm in the process of encoding a lot of proxies for a documentary and sometimes Media Encoder is writing the proxy files in the wrong folder.Instead of writing to the requested output path on the preset it saves the files on the original files location. I've double checked my preset configurations many times to be shure. Sometimes it even writes SOME of the files on queue to the right path, and SOME to the right place. Its really weird. Its not always, and the files encoded work just fine, but still, its a big hasle.
Hey guys.Lately I have some issues with Media Encoder (it's the latest version of 2023) anytime that I try to lunch it...it appears me "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue."Does it happen to anybody else? I can't export any videos because of this issue. I tried to unistall it and install it again but it's the same. Can anybody help me to solve this problem, please? Thanks
Hi,I'm trying to use the Roto Brush for the first time. When in 'Layer', I selected the area, and once pressed the space bar - it took forever to render...and didn't show any progress. please see attached pic. Any suggestions?
I have media encoder, premiere pro and after effects, i pay for that, and it doesn't work, i've tried reinstalling it, i've tried a tutorial on youtube that said to reorder the folders, i've tried older version and nothing working. Now im running the latest versions of each program to the date (i've updated them yesterday 6/3/2023) and I still can't render on Media Encoder. I pay for an app that doesn't work, nice job.proof that it is indeed installed (in the same disk and all)
Been having issues with the new Premiere export panel since it was introduced: 1) when I want to overwrite a previous file with the same name, Premiere gives me the "this will overwrite..." window. Click okay. Send to Media Encoder. It'll still export with a "_1" at the end. 2) My video has a captions track. Captions are turned off in the Premiere export panel. Send to Media Encoder. It exports with captions burned in. Or conversely, I turn on Burn In Captions in the Premiere Export panel, send to Media Encoder, Captions panel is greyed out and there's no option to turn them on at all. I'd resort to exporting direcly from Premiere but since there's no preview window, you never know what you're gonna get until the file finishes rendering. Might have offline footage since Premiere and AE linked media don't always seem to talk to each other and need a restart (another bug), might have captions burned in when you turned them of
After updating Media Encoder I am unable to launch the App beyond the Error Message: "Adobe Media Encoder cannot create folder: Presets. Please check permissions and restart the application."I have already tried creating a Presets folder in User/Adobe/Adobe Media Encoder/23.2/Presets but still get the same error.I am on Mac OS 13.2.1 - it was running perfectly well until I updated the app. I have restarted, I have restarted in Safe Mode - which fixed the launch issue with the updated Premier - all to no avail.Could really use some assistance. Same issue with Premiere Pro - all other updates zero issues
Hello! When I want to export my composition in Media Encoder from After, the Media Encoder opens and nothing happens. As if it wasn't able to connect. I updated both After and Media Encoder to the newest versions but it still doesn't work.
Boa Noite!
A whole lot of wasted productivity here...ME 23.2.1, Premiere 23.212.6.3 Monterey
Hi, I've exported a sequence from Premiere to be rendered in AME. No missing or offline files are reported in Premiere, but when AME opens I get a warning."offline media detected and will be encoded using proxies"I don't know why this happenes, but the files are not offline and I can render the sequence just fine from Premiere. But AME use the proxies files when it renders. There is no reason for them to be "offline" in AME and not Premiere. Please help, thanks!
Has anyone else had any exporting issues with Media Encoder 2023? The first issue is either the audio, visuals or sometimes both, will glitch when exporting a After Effects comp through Media Encoder. The result is a distorted export, but the file itself isn't broken. My current workaround is exporting direct from AE (then using Encoder afterwards) which isn't ideal time-wise. I've also noticed that i'm getting a large discrepency in MP4 sizes. A 15 second clip at 10mbps came out to 71MB, while a 19 second clip with the same bitrate came out at 25MB. So I'm having to export sometimes twice to get it to a required spec.
Hello all, I've been encoding several Premiere Pro sequences using Adobe Media Encoder 2023. Granted, this was before the most recent 23.2 update, but here's what's happening:I am sending multiple sequences from Premiere Pro directly to AME 2023 23.1 and, before I start the queue encoding, I close Premiere Pro. The only Adobe product running when I press the Start Queue button is AME. I then make sure that the Encoding panel is selected (or in focus). If I switch to any other window (such as my browser or a Windows explorer), AME will run for about 10 more seconds and then stop encoding. It doesn't officially stop or pause the encoding (there is no "Pause" indicator in the Queue panel on the item currently encoding), it just hangs there until the Encoding panel is selected (or in focus) again. The Encode Preview just continues to display the most recent frame encoded and the Elapsed Time and Time to Completion timers don't move.
