If I were able to import and encode more audio formats and encode them to MP3 or WAV it would really speed up the workflow instead of having to rely on Audiotn for any sort of audio relatied thing. Shouldn't the supported audio formats in Audition also be in Media Encoder?
As the title said, Media Encoder exports and produce that kind of green/yellow scene. However, it exports extremely fine in Premiere Pro. How do I fix this because I rely a lot for Media Encoder?
Hi,I would like to point out an incorrect behavior of some Creative Cloud programs, which create an Adobe folder and subfolders in “My documents” folder on PC.I think this should be avoided, as My documents folder is a private area, in which no program should store any data. It poses for instance problems in the synchronization using other tools (such as Synology). On Windows platform (I don’t know about Mac OS) there are specific folders created by the OS (C:\User Name\AppData\Local and C:\User Name\AppData\Roaming) where programs can store their own information. And by the way this is done by most Adobe programs. So, please change the features of the corresponding programs (Premiere Pro, Audition, etc.) and stop the generation of these folders.Thank you,Pascal
I'm using Adobe Media Encoder 2023 Version 23.5 (Build 51) on Windows 10 to encode and then publish videos to YouTube. The YouTube uploads take an incredibly long time; I have gigabit internet, but the videos only upload using around 50 megabits or a twentieth of my speed. If I use a browser to upload, most or all of my bandwidth is used as I would expect. I know AME is capable of using more bandwidth, as uploading multiple videos at once uses about 50 megabits per video rather than total. I cannot find any way to uncap this speed or change it at all, but it makes very little sense for me to use AME to publish the videos automatically when it takes half an hour to do what I can do in a couple of minutes manually through a browser.
MacBook Pro 16" 2019Mac OS 13.5.2After Effects 24.0.3Media Encoder 24.0.3 When in After Effects I click 'Composition/Add to Media Encoder Queue' but nothing appears in MEdia Encoder, no messeges nothing... Tried to clear Cache. Don't know what to do. Everything worked fine until yesterday. Now on a deadline so it kind of stresses me out.
As I rarely use dynamic link because of numerous past bugs breaking it constantly, I was wondering why we can't drag and drop video files onto the Media Encoder app in the Mac dock and have it launch the app or add the items to the queue? Seems like a natural motion for this app to accomplish?
Seeking to export a Video Timeline clip prepared in Photoshop 2022 23.4.1 into a MP4 video clipDocument is 2160 x 3840 px ( W x H ) >> 4K video in vertical format, 9:16 aspect ratioAttempting to use Adobe Media Encoder but getting an error to the effect that the maximum vertical size is 2304 px, per below attached screenshots. Seems it would be able to handle this if it were horizontal instead of vertical, ie 3840 x 2160 px works, but not 2160 x 3840 px Any other way I can export this to a vertical 4K mp4 video? or any other workaround? thank you in advance
Hi, I'm completeing a Video that was done on CS4 Premiere Pro and being encoded via Adobe Media Encoder (the corresponding version).Long story short, I have to complete it on THAT Computer (with Windows 7, that has that specific Adobe software). (All futurre Videos are going to be on newer software and computer). My questions are (as I Really need the help Please): 1. Does that system (CS4) allow the ratio to be 9:16 (for Cell phones of today)? 2. If so, where/how? 3. If not, I had been using a "Custom" Preset (at the top) for "NTSC DV High Quality" with H.264 using 4:3 (720 x 480) and now I need to convert it for YouTube, TikTok (and cellphones vertically). How would I do this please? 4. I saw that "square pixels" is an option. Is this 1:1 (does it mean 1:1, for TikTok)? 5. I also saw that (at the top, under Presets) there is "HDTV 1080p 24 High Quality" or "HDTV 1080p 25 High Quality" (presets) that I'
I am running Mac Pro 2019 Ventura 13.5.2Premiere Pro 24.0.3 (Build 2)Media Encoder 24.0.3 (Build 2) So we have the same versions running. That answers that question When I send a sequence to export to ME it no longer encodes but it says it's Encoding. When I go to "stop" it tells me that it is Encoding do I want to strop it? In the very recent past like before it updated version I was able to encode multiple sequences.I have no problem encoding a single sequence from within Premiere Pro itself. Often what ME does is says it's conecting to "Dynamic Link" "This may take a few minutes"But it never really connects. I attach a screen grab. I get no encode preview, although show preview is checked in settings. All was fine a version ago.....Thank you,Greg
I want to add filename to a series of videos, but when using text overlay, it doesn't automatically wrap to fit the frame, the letters behind cannot appear, is there any way to fix it? Thank you so much!
On most recent updates, timecode has not been detected in the MP4 file when converting from the MXF master file Normally I would provide the client a clean and TC version of the file. I would first use the master MXF to make a clean MP4 file then from the MP4 file, make a TC MP4 version. But the timecode is not present on the MP4 clean file. It used to work 4-5 months ago, but not now. Can somoene help?
@Fergus H @R Neil Haugen This is a repost of something I put on the Premiere forum. I feel like this forum gets even less traffic / respones from Adobe but nevertheless here we go: ....One of my main gripes with AME is the mystery box of why Media Encoder works fine sometimes and other times it fails.I've have the following issues on an ongoing basis over the last 10 years of trying to use AME: encodes the file incorrectly with either:offline mediabroken fx licencing wrong AE comp being renderedweird audio sync glitches captions refusing to burn ingpu errorsEncodes a a much slower rate, which makes no sense if it is the same exact encoding engine. stops mid-encode etc. Media Encoder has a funny setting where you can either: "encode sequences natively" Or use the PrProHeadless option which usually means a slower and longer project load as it loads full premiere in the BG minus the GUI. However, I usually have less
Media encoder 22版本有沒有舊版本找不舊版本新版本有夠難用
Either I'm missing something or AME is just super messed up lately. I have a different thread about how I can't automatically use "Entire Sequence" as a source range when I use a shortcut to send a sequence from Premiere to AME, and now this!I just wanted to save a new preset, but it keeps on duplicating my old ones, and when I delete the copies, the remaining preset ERRORS when I use it.Bro, AME is very frustrating since the past 2 updates!
Hello, Ihave a notebooki716 RAM256 GB SSD M2GTX1050 ti ...Every time I export an after effect video I realize from the CPUID that the GPU (even with CUDA active) is only using 1 ... 2 ... 3 or even 0% of the GPU.I would like to know if you have something to do or if this is normal for my GPU.What can I do?
In my project, I had audio for each pre-comp in after effects, which upon exporting was partially in the exported file and partially replaced with entirely different audio not in the after effects file. This is so odd, I cant find anything about this particular problem online and nobody in my office can explain it either.
Hello, I cannot import files that are in folders on network drives in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.Folders don't appear in the Media Browser, only files in the root of the drives appear. Can you help me please? Many thanks,
i need help please
This doesn't really impede my work too much, but I've noticed an annoying bug when I click to recieve notifications that my render queue has finished. Any time it gets to the end, I get the notification that it has done so, but I also get "Queue Failed - Queue stopped before finishing all encoding items". This is never the case though. When I check the queue, everything has successfully encoded. Anyone else experience this or know a fix? I find this feature pretty useful, but not when it gives me incorrect information. Using a M1 Ultra Mac Studio running Ventura 13.5.2 Media Encoder 24
I am running Mac Pro 2019 Ventura 13.5.2, Media Encoder 24.0.2, seems I updated Media Encoder recently and now it wont encode. It seesm to first try to link to Dynamic Link and then just sits on encodeing. Nothing happens. No preview, nothing. Queue shows Ready. This is also happening with Beta Version. Encoding is good within Premeire but export to ME thats when shows up.
Hi, I've been trying for a while to get this to work but to no avail. I need to render some videos with an animation and a transparent background, which works just fine, but the problem comes in when the final video doesn't show the animated opacity on the elements inside. How do I get the opacity to render properly but keep the transparent bg on the final video? PS: In After Effects and if not rendered with transparent bg the opacity works just fine.
Requesting that Media Encoder be able to convert from and to the GXF format. This is a format used heavily in the media industry, specifically the broadcast industry, as the company "Grass Valley" leverages this as their native format.
Sometimes we just need the text transcription of a clip. Is much easier opening Media Encoder, drag a clip, transcript and export as a text than opening Premiere create a project, create a sequence, transcript and export it as a text.
There's a few bugs that I've noticed with the new version of AME (version 24.0)1 (already reported): The app installs with the queue window turned off by default, so it looks as if exports are not queuing from Prmiere and After Effects.2: Exports are coming out with stretched pixels on the right side of the screen. (I'm attaching the screenshot from premiere and the end result from AME) this is exported as a h.265 HEVC and I've only noticed this issue in the recent update, it doesn't happen in previous versions3: Exports will often have an extra frame included in the beginning of the file rather than keeping within the confines of the in and out point.I love AME, it's robust and extremely useful, but some of the recent tweaks are making its performace a little clunky. Thanks for looking into this!Zach
I have a bunch of old .MPG video files from 2007 and want to convert to H.264 or H.265 but everytime I do it keeps the convert date instead... Its driving me insane & I can not find the answer. I've gone to the Metadata on the export settings area and under basic it has todays date and no way to change it. Also under the Export Options it only lists 'Create Sidecar File' and 'None' availabel to select. I simply want to keep the original date and time of the 2007 videos (without having to change my computer date and time for each video. I have thousands so thats not goign to work!) Why is this so difficult. I should be able to just add the date I want and export. WHat am I missing....
