I have turned on 'Burn subtitles into video' in the export settings, but it doesn't work. Flicking it on and of sometimes does the trick, and it's not clear why. Checked it multiple times, also updated everything. Seems like a bug, and a pretty annoying one if you have numerous amounts of assets in different formats.
hi, i have a windows server that i would like to use as a network render farm with media encoder for after effects and premiere. the problem is that i currently have adobe cc license installed on a laptop and desktop pc. i read that there is an app called aerender, but i wasn't able to figure out how to get it to work. is it possible to do this without a license, or can i purchase a 3rd license?
Hey there! I'm having some trouble with Media Encoder. Every time I try to export my project as a TIFF Seq, Quicktime, MP4, or AVI file, I end up with this strange split-screen error. I've tried a bunch of different settings, but nothing seems to work. I thought it was just a preview issue, but it's showing up in the final product too. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I keep on recieving an error for my video, its supposed to come out around 50 minutes but sometimes when I export it I recieve an Error and the other times I export it it will play for 8 minutes or so then skip to the end even the the mp4 file reads 50 minutes. Here is the info for the error:Error compiling movie.Export errorError finishing encode.writing with exporter: h.264writing to file: C:Users\goblin\OneDrive\Desktop\videosyt\dishonored1_3.mp4around time code 49:27:37component: H.264 of type exporterselector: 9Error Code: 39Really hoping not to lose this footage, its the 3rd video of a series.

Is it possible to purchase or subscribe to AME as a stand alone app?
In the latest version of this program none of the upload direct to social media features work. I have tested with various sized videos (1920x1080, 1080x1080, 1080x1920). All videos under 5mb and 10 seconds long. Twitter fail message: "The video must be 1920 by 1200 or less, 60 FPS or less, 140 seconds or less and 512MB or less, progressive, mono or stereo AAC audio"All videos work uploading direct to Twitter. Vimeo fail message: " Vimeo - Could not obtain upload ticket" Please help i am using this automated step regularly. Thanks 🙂 M
Hello all,I'm attempting to set up a dedicated export machine in my company's new office. This machine is an HP Z620 (running Windows 10) and will rely on AME's watch folders in order to pull projects export. The files being pulled exist on a network server with there being watch folders for each editor. The editors will put their completed projects in their respective watch folders, which would then allow for AME to pull and export out their projects. Now, the issue I'm running into with this is the fact that the company runs off of Macs (currently iMacs, not my personal choice, but our CEOs) for editing, thus making the file path to the project and every other associated file completely different than what it would be on Windows. Because of this, early tests of this system yielded the red "Media Offline" screen during the watch folder's export, obviously because of the varying file paths. My question then is how could this issue be remedied or is there a workaround we could use to ge
It is stuck here, just says "exporting video: preview not available"
Tried restarting both AE and Encoder, cleaning preferences, and cache, reinstalled to 23.0 version, nothing works. Both AE and Encoder are the same version.
Hi everyone, I'm making some animations in After effects for a broadcast client. 2 of the many render specifications are Unmatted alpha channel and EBU R128 audio. Stand alone these are no big issue but I struggle to find a workflow to apply both. I can render Unmatted directly in After effects but I can't render with EBU R128 audio. And in AME I have the opposite problem.AME can render with EBU R128 very easely but I somehow can't find an Unmatted alpha menu. Am I missing something? Please help.
I usually export direct from Premiere Pro but recently had to export multiple files to Media Encoder. Next time I tried to open the .prproj files in Premiere Pro, THEY HAD MOVED AND I HAD TO SEARCH FOR IT! AND THEN I HAD TO RE-LINK ALL MY SOURCE FILES! [sorry for all caps but I meant to yell...] Are you kidding me with this? Bad enough the Photoshop interface has become so clunky to use, now Premiere Pro? What are they doing at Adobe...if it isn't broke, break it? Honestly, I've been an Adobe fan since PageMaker and Photoshop 1...I can't imagine why these fabulous, previously intuitive programs are being destroyed. Please help me to figure out what happened and how I can return to an easier workflow. I share folders with clients and I had to explain on a screen share call why I was having trouble finding files. Sorry for the rant, thanks in advance—running macOS Monterey, CC subscription up-to-date.
I would like to write a C++ plugin that allows me to generate encoding task via external input, e.g request over network. Since the extendscript environment in AME does not have access to the Socket class, I have been looking into the Premiere Pro SDK. Is there a suite that allows me to do this? I was looking into the Export Controller, but it seems to only be triggered via user interaction, and not sure its supported anyway by AME. Thanks for any help
Hello, Since the update to AME 23.2.1 encoding of H264 video is very, VERY slow. I noticed that the media browser is also messed up since the newest version. Literally nothing shows up there. Also, trying to rename your output files (woich SHOULD bring up an explorer window) frewezes AME for minutes. Preparing the audio/video files seems to crash the app, but if you wait for more than an hour you'll find out it's just REALLY slow. Rendering after that, works just fine. Reverting to v23.2 fixed the problem on my laptop, but not on my desktop. I'm running W11 with the latest updates on both systems.
I export from Premiere Pro to Encoder and the MOGRT files I use in the videos will incredibly often not load the fonts correctly. It will load PARTS of a font correctly, but in the same text element have random letter swapped out for lower-case characters. These are fonts I'm using from Adobe Creative Suite, which is also running. The top is the preview in Premiere Pro, the bottom is the useless garbage Encoder renders. I have wasted countless hours re-rendering videos due to this issue that has persisted for nearly a year. I just gave up rendering with Encoder for a while, but I'm sick of having to render in Premiere Pro and being unable to get more work done at the same time due to this.Make paying for this software make some sense.
I am exporting clips from Adobe Premiere sequence named J26_FTG. Previously I just select clips one by one and add them to AME, as a result, I got clips J26_FTG.mp4, J26_FTG_1.mp4, J26_FTG_2.mp4, etc.Somehow after update, AME overwriting the file J26_FTG.mp4 despite the option in preferences "Increment output file name..". Any suggestions or this is a bug?
Are you supporting the product Adobe Media Encoder 23.3? how long will you support this product. What is the End of life date of this version?
I'm running into an issue that I have never run into before. I queued up a sequence to be rendered from Premiere to Media Encoder. I started the render in Media Encoder, I went back to Premiere to start on a new project in Premiere while Media Encoder renders in the background. The issue is that every time I hit play on the Premiere Timeline, it pauses the Media Encoder render. I've checked everywhere and can't find the issue within the software. I may be overlooking something. I also can't find anyone having the same issues online. This is a new problem. It hasn't acted like this before. I have attached a video below that demonstrated what I'm talking about. I'm on a 2017 iMac Pro with a 3.2 ghz Intel Xeon W. 32gb RAM. Raedon Pro Vega 56 8gb RAM. Title edited by Mod

Sometimes there is a need to merge multiple consecutive videos using MEFor example.20230620-110102.mp420230620-110402.mp420230620-110702.mp4is the file name of a time-sorted video series. If you drag and drop into ME Merge directly from the Win10 File Explorer, the sorting will become20230620-110702.mp420230620-110102.mp420230620-110402.mp4At the end of the day, the sorting goes to the top. However, this does not happen if you drag and drop from ME's own file manager.I would like to add a function to change the sorting of files in the list of merged files.(auto order by file name, file time, ect.)
MacPro Intel, 96 GB RAM, macOS 13.5 - Adobe Encoder 23.5 - Vimeo Premium. There is a problem for automaitc uploading a rendered file directly from Media Encoder to the VIMEO platform. The existing link cannot be undone and reinstalled - even after clean-re-install. The location of the link from ME to Vimeo is unknown. On VIMEO the link can be removed, but it is still displayed in ME after a restart. Strange... Who can help? Thank you!
Hallo! Vielen Dank schon einmal!
I'm using Media Encoder to trans-code an orignial MKV file into a h.264 file (since it's very laggy to edit with MKV since it's so compressed). When I try this, a weird bug/glitch happens. For the first 10 minutes everything is fine and the trancoded video is playing back as it's supposed to. However, after around the 10 minute mark or so, the video portion loops back to the beginning while the audio portion keeps playing. So like at minute 15, it's the audio for minute 15 but the video for minute 5. I tried both trancoding it to GoPro Cineform and h.264.It's the same problem. I can even see it start to loop in the output preview of media encoder. Is this a problem with my source file or a problem with Media Encoder? Is there any way to fix this?Infact, when I was trying to recreate the problem, now it loops like the first minute of video for all 20 minutes of audio instead of even getting to 10 minutes.
Please help me. In AE, the video looks correct, but in Adobe Meda Encoder, such a cropping is found on the right. What is the problem? The application versions are the same, 2023.
