Adobe Media Encoder

I'm trying to batch convert a series of clips encoded in png with alpha .mov to .mxf with alpha.Whatever I try the alpha isn't there.I'm selecting Apple Prores 4444 with alpha in media encoder and double checking that the settings inside the preset are ok but whatever I do the Alpha is always lost. As I say, the original clips HAVE an alpha channel.Again what was a quick job is not so 😞

Hi, I recently upgraded to windows 11 and Adobe Premiere Pro or Encoder does not run.  I try to uninstall and reinstall from cloud desktop but it's still the issue.  I'm running nvidia 3070Ti video card, I7-8086k cpu@4.0Ghz with 32GB of ram.  System is running from m2 SSD drive.  All my apps are super fast and nothing freezes other then Adobe Premiere/Encoder.  Please advice what to try. Thanks,David

So I recently replaced my laptop with a new M1 Max Macbook Pro, and since then, whenever I render an AE comp with ME with a LUT applied, it downreses the output. Even in the preview window it shows pixelation.  This workflow works perfectly fine still on my iMac (which is where I've now been using for rendering these as a temp solution). Hoping someone else has encountered this and found a solution?  Screen grabs attached (hopefully they're large enough that you can see the difference.)  I'm on a 14" MBP M1 MaxOS: 12.1 MontereyAE: 18.4.1ME: 154.1LUT: Gamma correction LUT for h264 from Adobe but this problem persists with any other lut from the menuIt also doens't seem to matter if I choose hardware or software encoding.   

I have an output format plugin for After Effects to render out image sequences in a file format called VBN, which is the native image format for the Vizrt broadcast graphics system. The plugin works really well in AE and I would like to add this plugin to Media Encoder so I can do file conversions from there. To install in AE it's as simple as copying the .aex file to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC nnnn\Support Files\Plug-ins\Format and VBN appears in the list of available file formats. I tried to do the same by copying the plugin to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC nnnn\Plug-Ins\(AfterEffectsLib)\Format but the VBN doesn't appear in the list in ME. Is it possible to add custom AE output plugins in ME, and if so how do I do it?

Hello everyone, so I ran into some deep trouble that I can't get our of. I have been working on a project in After Effects and the time to render came and my 20 second clip is taking 2 hours to render, this is not normal at all, something is completly wrong with something that I can't debug.  My PC:CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950xRAM: 64GBGPU: Nvidia 2080 Super I am in deep need of help here, many thanks!

When I export an H264 out of Premiere, or convert a file to H264 using Media Encoder, I see that the audio ends up about 1/3 frame out of sync. It's a bit troubling because we use Media Encoder and Premiere for professional work. I ran into this when I sent a Sound Editor an H264 picture reference from Premiere. He complained that the 2-pop was slightly out of sync – making it an inaccurate reference. Maybe it has to do with the fact that H264 in Premiere and Media Encoder only offers AAC audio, not Linear PCM? Here's the 2-pop for the Leader built into Premiere. It's a bit odd that it's a pyramid shape instead of a rectangle. When it's brought into another software that shows waveforms differently (ex. Avid, below), it's a bit unclear exactly where the 2-pop is supposed to start.When I bring a Premiere exported or Media Encoder converted H264 into Avid, the 2-pop is about 1/3 frame off.Can Adobe add Linear PCM audio as an option for H264? Maybe that will fix this? It'd

I've uninstalled and reinstalled ME attempting to remedy this. It won't get past the RGSGrowbounds plugin load. Initially ME would not initiate from AE or directly from apps folder.  It was working fine a few days ago.

После обновления Media Encoder до последней версии, рендер выдает ошибочные файлы, вместо картинки, к примеру, просто квадратики, хотя в композиции присутствует фотография. Если рендерю через внутренний рендер Ae, то все нормально. НО это не всегда удобно, так как часто мне нужен формат mp4. Помогите решить эту проблему. Спасибо!

Okay, so I'm editing a caption in the altest Premiere Pro. I am at a caption line which reads: "and the civil sector in Serbia, economic empowerment of the population and financial entities" and, for some reason, the preview window suddenly goes black and buttload errors pops up (attached). After a couple of iterations of copy/paste-ing, I decided to manually type in the line. It all went well, until I came to the word "financial", at which point, after I try typing the first letter "I" of the word, the same thing happens.This is what kills me here - if I type ANY OTHER letter instead of "I", it works. If I type ANY OTHER letter except "F" in the space before the "I", I can actually type the "I". For some reason, the exact combination of "F", followed by "I", just breaks Premiere Pro. And let me tell you, the very next sentence contains the word "fight", so I'm in for a pickle.Can someone, anyone, make sense of this, of all the stupid things happening with Adobe products as fo late, th

Hi, I need to convert footage@23,976fps to 25fps and maintain number of frames during the process. Additionnaly this footage contain audio so i want to convert audio 23,976fps to 25fps to be in sync with video.Is there any preset or option to do that simply in media encoder?Many thanks

Media Encoder 2020 Can not render more than 60fpsBut in 2019,it can render more than 60fps.When I can what to render a 100fps proxy,it only can export an 60fps video     

Every time I try to export a Premiere Pro Sequence into blu-ray MP4 format, it fails. It won't even get to the actual exporting, it fails when trying to set up files. This has been going on for weeks. Anyone else having this issue? Any fix coming soon?

Hey guys, trying to create proxies from Premiere, but when Media Encoder 2021 opens it freezes on the splash screen when trying to load LUT Buddy-64.plugin. Previous version of ME 2020 didn't freeze and still doesn't. Also, I've updated to ME 2022, but Premiere doesn't seem to open the latest version for Proxy processing, and still opens ME 2021, which freezes.  I can create proxies manually in ME 2022 and then link them in Premiere, I know, but it just makes the process less automated, which is what was so convenient about this.. any idea?

Hello, I made a project in After Effects and clicked 'Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue' to render my project in Adobe Media Encoder (AME). The format that I use to render is always H.264 / Mp4. However, it keeps failing, crashing or getting frozen. Sometimes it shows me an error message with a fail sign, but sometimes it doesn't. When it happens it looks like my render is frozen. It barely proceeds and the estimated time says 200~300 hours remaining. I have been doing other similar projects in AE since early this year, so I know it shouldn't be taking this long. All of my projects are very similar and follow the same rendering settings and format. Also, they should take maximum 6~7 hours to render, normally 4 hours. The projects are not super complicated or heavy. It makes no sense that this job needs to take hundreds of hours.  Like I mentioned above, I have been doing the same job and it feels like this issue happens so much more often these days. Does encoding with Media Encoder usually take a very long time?

First of all, I'm using a Macbook with the M1 chip. I'm saying this because all the solutions I found (some which didn't even have my specific problem) are using Windows. In After Effects, when I click "Add to AME render queue," it doesn't open at all. So I take matters into my own hands and open it manually, and it's loading up all that stuff, but I notice that it's constantly stopping at "Loading BCCVectorDisplacement.bundle." I tried looking for it in Finder but I only got logs of "Plugin loading" or whatever. Is this something I'm missing or causing the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Several of my exports for the last two days have parts of the video where it looks like the color has been taken completely out. I can't figure out what is causing it. Looks fine in Premiere program window, only shows up in export. Has anyone else encountered this? 

I home video on VHS to an AVI file in YUV2 4:2:2 NTSC 720x480. I'd like to encode to another codec that is more efficienct for watching across my computers and home network. I would like to keep 4:2:2 chroma sampling.  I tried H.264 and MPEG2 but my output files always seem to be 4:2:0 (using mediainfo to verify). Please help - looking for tips. Ok using another codec if needed to produce quality results as long as it can be viewed over many devices.

After Effects and Premiere Pro will not send directly to media encoder, media encoder wont even open anymore, just crashes and takes the whole PC out with it, been like this for 3-4 days now... running a 32gb ram, AMD 6 processer with Nvidea GTX50 8gb graphics card why are all of adobes apps so slow, buggy and generally terrible.   I've reinstalled all of the apps, full pc clean and reboot then re-install making sure all are the same version and adobe media encoder still won't open, or opens and then spends ages connecting to 'dynamic link server' before crashing or failing the project have tried exporting video through after effects internal exporter but it reckons 6hrs for a 7 minute long video with audio? its a still picture too. ADOBE Help us out! would have cancelled subscription already if i wasnt signed up for a year as for the past couple of months it has been nothing but hassle and really stomps all over your "creative dreams"  :(:(:(&nb

I am trying to open the preferences menu on Adobe Media Encoder 22.0.  I have restarted several times and I still can't access.  I click on the menu and nothing opens.  I have been struggling with Mogrts not being available when I export through Media Encoder and I saw a video about turning off "Import Sequences Natively" but I can't access this menu to do that.  Please help!

I would like to use media encoder and dynamic link with after affects but it does'nt work. Nothing happen. With Premiere too. Unusable. And this since the last two updates. It's a shame that you can't use this software properly on a mac. It just crashes constantly.
